Kitchen Aid Drawer Microwave Review | brutally honest

I'm in the kitchen ALL the time. So it's important that my appliances work and work for a long time! We were so terrified to take the leap and get a drawer microwave because the cost was high and the reviews were split. So here's our experience. Hopefully it's helpful if you're on the market for a new microwave or kitchen remodel!

Not having a microwave over the range is definitely preferable, but it is common in small kitchens. That is my situation and what is really unsatisfying is that steam from cooking can condense on the bottom of the microwave and then drip into the food that is cooking. The steam can also interfere with the electronics behind the control pad.

All really good points. I’ve had a microwave over my range my entire life so I definitely understand the pros and cons! Its not always realistic to move it with spacing challenges
