This is a world class video…straight up. I’m only 46seconds in and you’re straight into the guts of the process. No waffle. No pointless questions. Just straight into it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 😊
ChrisFix is another UA-camr (auto repair) that does perfect videos: no fluff, right into the job, great editing... I'm always shutting down videos that probably have great content but it's surrounded by 20 minutes of babbling.
" FOAM THE BOTTOM OF HIS HEART "

I don't know how I got here, but that was satisfying.
Whoever invented this in such simple cheap way is genius and deserves alot of money with patent
He deserves nothing. He should do this for free.
It looks like it should be simple and cheap, but another commenter said that they charge you $3,000 for it. So what good is it then to me?
So oddly satisfying to watch. I hope to find a fixer-upper one day, just so I get to do some of these things.
WOW what a cool stuff !
That anxiety with his fingers in the slab corner 😮
Thanks for teaching ma'am or Sir
In south Louisiana the soil is MUCK We live on a SWAMP The soil settles I used a lot of rebar and hardware cloth, but it still sunk It took years, but the driveway is lower than the street Foam is the way to go It fills all the voids as it expands When it can't expand anymore you add more foam and the concrete starts to come UP UP UP
you might have been better off driving piles into the ground first. then putting the driveway over it. it costs alot more but its better in the long run. in New Zealand we have this problem where the soil has run off with the rain and the only way they can do it is to break up the concrete and repour. this product is not available right now =[
My driveway need this done
Mine too! Wonder where one would come by the equipment to do this? Have you made any progress on you drive way. I am going to research it farther.
Got a quote from a company in New Orleans a few months back and they wanted over $3000 to level one of my driveway slabs.
I did the same. What I was quoted was 85% if entirely replacing the sections of my driveway. That's nuts when you consider it wouldn't cost much more (if at all) to replace a section of the driveway slab. They've got to get this pricing down to no more than a third of replacement cost (preferably one-fourth) to make it worth while.
There are diy kits for about $500. The question remains is it cheaper/better to take out the bad and pour new. That should be asked for every job.
Okay, thanks for that info. I was really worried it would be something like that.
How did you left it wor so few drill holes & how did you determine where to drill for max lift?
After watching this video the question remains; "How To Lift A Sinking Concrete Driveway With Foam"?
After reading your comment, you saved me one minute 54 seconds of time to be wasted.
lol that’s what I thought
Yeahh me too cheking the comments to see if someone explains' how to lift a sinking concrete'
The foam is what they are injecting into the holes with the hoses. The foam lifts the concrete.
I had my foundation repaired last summer and the area where my driveway ends and the garage entrance begins bent and cracked in sections like three feet from my garage entrance. I can't share a pick here but if I mention that I can no longer use a ladder to clean my gutters above the garage door, it may give you an idea of what happened, for those fortunate enough to never have had to fix their foundation. My situation is a little different than the entire driveway sinking as a whole as it is shown in this video. My question is, would this foam technique also work for my situation?
Did you have to do any saw cutting
make a video about how to do it step by step
Will this last?
Hey camarada , ese trabajo es muy profesional, digno de un paisano, la pregunta es sobre cuánto sale un trabajo así.$$$
I wonder if someone could invent a way to drill into the old concrete and install steel rods. Then pour the new concrete over the extended rods. Could keep the slabs level. Just a thought.
🤣
Where can I purchase these set ups ?
So, could this product be sprayed on top of a footing and then the foundation poured on top of this foam so that the foam acts as a thermal break between the footing and the foundation wall?
Why would you want that? You need a firm contact point so your footing and foundation don't slide.
How long does this last?
This didn't explain how to lift a driveway, this only showed us someone lifting a driveway.
mikcall54 Closed cell foam.
how much something like this cost ????
Doesn't this leave voids?
How much does something like this cost?
You can do this with a foam spray can. Its really easy to do.
Yes, I did a small section of my sidewalk with it.
I am very interested in that. Can you give me a brand name for it?
woaawww

I just purchased a home in Santaquin, Utah with this exact problem. About how much do you guys charge for this?
Kevin Black It’s hard to say, it’s usually a couple hundred bucks for a small section, for a full driveway it can get up to $1500 or a couple thousand
@@BASEcoSystems Thank you for the response. When we get settled in I will contact you for a quote.
That's crazy I plaster foundations in Santaquin!
@@StrangerXiii Small world. We're in Murray, Utah
That's crazy, I make license plates in San Quentin!
Genuine question but why not just add more concrete on top to level it instead?
Do you think that would be easier and more cost effective than what you just watched?
How to relay sunken paving blocks
How long does the foam last before it starts to degrade and sinking reoccur?
Is the foam resistant to water erosion?
you too smart
Is this plastic? I don't about using plastic.
How to you keep it from "over" lifting?
Go slow and stop injecting once it's level.
That would completely blow balls if it over lifted.
How long would this last?
This is a permanent fix
How much
Are you guys in Houston texas
No, sorry. Do you need us to be?
@@BASEcoSystems yes!!!! We need you
Zemorah Israel how can we help?
@@BASEcoSystems yes
what makes it sink? so they use hydraulics or air to raise it? how is it back filled or is it simply under pressure concrete? oyeah its anchors, me thinks,
it's helium, actually. Just kidding. The sinking is caused by soil under the concrete being washed out. We inject a polyurethane expansive product that goes in as a liquid and then expands/solidifies. This process lifts the concrete.
Thank you very much for your reply, we can all learn from each other, as we cannot know everything, once again, thank you for taking the time, much appreciated,
In one of the scenes you see a crack in the slabs radiating out from the garage. This guy is a beginner. No slab should be jacked that much in one shot. There should have been 6 holes across and he should have alternated between them only lifting 1/8” at a time. This way you don’t create point loads and crack slabs. Beginner....
Not one crack in any slab. Lifting 1/8 inch at a time you’d be there for days.
Do you guys work in East Texas, Livingston.
Im looking for someone in East Texas Area as well. Let me know if you find someone as well.

Perfect now how much does that equipment cost lol

The reason why these concrete slabs are sinking is because of shoddy workmanship these home builders do. I will bet you that house that there are major structural issues going inside. Piss poor foundation prep. What I was really surprised at was there were no major cracks. The question is is how long will that foam hold up?
shut the fuck up, mr pro. you sound like an idiot. like NO SHIT
@@r6bbie251 you dont have to be rude, hes right
I was thinking the same thing. If the foam don’t last then you’ll be paying again for new concrete.
that doesn't look environmentally friendly
Driveway still looks like a shit...........
Next step: take the car to get the oil leak fixed 🤪
