- The CW event Crisis on Infinite Earths was one of the biggest crossover events in TV history, as it brought all kinds of DC properties together to tell an interdimensional story. Of course, it mainly concerned the Arrowverse, but we also got references to Batman: The Animated Series, Superman Returns, and even the 1960s Batman show with Adam West. However, since there was so much going on, a few viewers were left a bit confused by some of the show’s moments. Let’s take a look at the explanation of some of the more confusing moments in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Y’all remember how Marvel and DC made that crossover comic? Imagine they do a episode where they find the MCU’s Earth and the Justice League and The Avengers join forces?
I'm imagining a boots and lasso scene like they did in a fairly recent Marvel comic this year in which Miles Morales Spider-Man was traveling through their multiverse with Lockjaw for reasons I can't recall.
But seriously, or anyone who thinks the most recent crossover was JLA Avengers or Marvel versus DC, Google recent crossovers; you'll be in for a treat
I think we all wishing for this to happen but MCU has too many projects on the way that would not an ideal for em right now because marvel studio has already have plan for the next 5 to 10 years meanwhile DC is well DC trying to get an oscar and not give a damn about it's fan 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

But if you are honestly saying that DC as a whole doesn't give a crap about its fans then I'll have what you're smoking because of one word: Crisis. they could have created several new versions of existing characters and said that was the Multiverse, because they didn't need to flesh it out because they're going to destroy and condense anyway. It didn't need Robert Wuhl. It didn't need Burt Ward. It didn't need Tom Welling. It didn't need Erica Durance or Brandon Routh to additionally play their respective previous DC roles. They could have gotten no names to play different versions of heroes, but they didn't, because they do care about the fans... It's literally called fanservice

Coverboy reverse flash should of showed up in crisis but Barry never would of gone back to his mom since reverse flash already killed her and had no reason to go back I’m sure that the final season of the flash will have reverse flash and Barry will disappear
Also I had a theory what if there is going to be two crisis because what happened this crisis wasn’t what was described in the newspaper and reverse flash is the cause of the second crisis then Barry has to stop him and he vanished

Just to be clear: the chances of reverse flash been wiped and/or not remembering the old way the multiverse was are so slim that I'm willing to bet my house on this. He saves all the info he needs in the negative speedforce (somehow), as he said in a previous video, and , btw, him, getting caught off guard by the anti-matter wave is highly unlikely. Also even if that was the case im pretty sure ihe is fast enough to outrun it to safety (in the neg. speed force)
The speedforce and the negative speedforce exist in a higher dimension which wasn't affected by the crisis
The real answer is that there was different show runners and writers for crisis. And they said they didn’t want to write a story based off what someone else wrote.
Another interpretation to Smallville's Clark's giving up on his powers is he keeps Blue Kryptonite on him, notice the watch he wears in Crisis has a "Blue Face" on it. As opposed to Gold K, Blue K only leaves his powers suppressed (not permanently stripped) until discarded away from him.

Yeah plus his arch was also based off another superman story that emegencyawesome.mentioned where he has two daughters who get powers so his kids will most likely have powers at some point hopefully they go back to that in the future at some point.

The crossover started out with a bang and then kinda went it's own way. It seems like Marvel they tweaked the story in order to expand their TV universe for more shows.

They aren't numbered sequentially if that's what you mean.
There's a new earth in every different timeline in the multiverse, creating infinite earths/universes. So I'm assuming there were only 53 earths because there were only 53 different timelines at that time... that sounded weird
I'm still kind of shocked that they introduced The Spectre in such an important way, and didn't even attempt to have a conversation with Constantine or anything to explain The Spectre.
Pretty sure he was in the first season of Constantine. I may have to go back and watch it.
He was just a detective at the moment, played by a different actor, and the Psychic woman saw an unusual aura around him. Pretty sure it was just a brief cameo that didn't even identify him as the spectre unless you already knew who he was.

@@chaser71 Actually, I don't think so if OLiver was dead, they would have at least found the body of him, they didn't, because he was taken over by the Spectre, where he created the 'afterlife' for Felicity and Him it's even the afterlife, because they can't get back, But right now, in the current seasons of Flash and Supergirl, Felicity is pretty much alive, taking care of her daughter and still grieving over the death of Oliver, and helping future Mia finding the kidnapped William

"DC" published supplemental comics to go with the series! They deal with Lynda Carter's "Wonder Woman", as well as the actual comic book universe itself, among others. I want to read them and own them.

By the way! Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman", is acknowledged by the appearance of, Ezri Miller's "Flash". What I want to know more about are, Cathy Lee Crosby's live-action "Wonder Woman", before Lynda Carter replaced her for the second pilot movie and then the series. Plus the various animated series. "Vixen", demonstrated that animated cartoons are just a medium like live-action is, and that the same character can take turns being both. 😉😎

I actually really loved this crossover event more than any other one.. there was a few things I would add but I’m still majorly impressed by what they pulled off

I'm glad you enjoyed the event. I really couldn't. I'm convinced they used all their budget on the cameos. The CGI was bad (which I can forgive easily), and the writing was on par with a middle schooler's. At its best, Crisis was like watching an episode of Power Rangers.

Might be wishful thinking, but I want Oliver to have a Ben Kenobi Moment with Oliver as something similar to a “force ghost.” For instance, if Barry was in complete desperation and he hears Oliver’s voice tell him what to do, since the specter “can’t “ be dead since it’s a cosmic being. I wouldn’t be too surprised if Stephen Amell remains the spectre or at least has some manner of coming back and then appears in the final ever episode of the flash (whenever that will be)

well, i'm not an expert but, as far as i know, he's never seen wearing the costume in his human form in the comics and, at least in the arrowverse, it's heavily implied the costume only exists in his martian form (at least until crisis when it inexplicably manifested out of nowhere)

They had to make the enemy's minions so weak to make the likes of Sarah and Batwoman look more powerful, remember this is an enemy who is destroying the universe yet him minions can be destroyed by a normal punch to the face , The Heroes could have just gone to a local bar and recruited a few people to fight all the minions why they went for the boss.

Now that Earth 2 is the world for JSA/Star Girl..what happened to Harry, Jesse and other people on the previous Earth 2?
Guess they died when the monitor wiped out earth 2 in Arrow's 8th season (I think it was at the end of the first episode) but I'm not sure, just seems like the legit reason
here's the thing, jesse is suppose to be there, seeing she and hourman are married and her father "harry" is johnny quick, not the crime syndicate one
Either that world wasn't brought back, or it was but with a new number-designation
the previous earths merged and created earth-prime. Previous earth-2 was or was not merged into earth-prime. we don't know that now because it was gone before crisis. It depends on the writer. One thing is for sure, if harry and jesse exist, they will definitely be on earth-prime, not on new earth-2. earth prime is not new earth-1, but the combination of all previous multiverse. So, new earth-2 is complely different from previous earth-2.
They probably hid out in the speed force and are now on some other earth waiting to be heard from again.

The entire plot of Smallville is Clark coming to terms with his destiny. In the end...he does.
You bring him back for one monologue to inform the audience that, after all that, he chose to give up his powers. Which attributes absolutely nothing to the storyline and contradicts his character arc.

Yes technically it was from the movie, but that's only because that footage exists and they have rights/access to it (and using the Cartoon Network show would've been weird, lol). Guarantee that when the HBO Max show identifies its earth (and I'm not even saying it'll necessarily happen immediately, but), it'll be earth 12. It'll be a lot like the MCU's kid in the Iron Man mask. It wasn't Peter Parker until it COULD be Peter Parker, and then it was retroactively Peter Parker the entire time. In the same way, it wasn't the HBO Max series' Earth until it CAN be the HBO Max series' Earth, and then it will retroactively have been the HBO Max series' earth the entire time.

Smallville also introduced Blue Kyrptonite Wich had simular power stripping effects, while the Kryptonian's are exposed but could be put away in say a lead box restoring their powers. Many had hypothesized that Wellings Clark had the face of Jonhathans watch replaced with a blue k face instead of quartz so he could (play) human, while exposed to Blue K neither Green or Red effect Kryptonian's.

It needed two things to be perfect. It needed an injustice earth visit and it needed a reference to mark Hamill joker. Even something as simple as a black screen with his iconic laugh. That would’ve been perfect.

Superman is as strong as his writer wants him to be, and it gets pretty stupid.
Black Lightning will be ruined now that it's been forced into all this. A character driven drama with realistic everyday people forced into this stuff. It's tone and design were completely different. Plus people will put it under the "Arrowverse" when it shouldn't be since it established itself without any connection to it for like 2 and a half seasons. That's tokenizing.

They don't struggle for ratings if that's what you mean by needing brand expansion. Black Lightning does need a boost but at what cost? Possibly losing itself in the campiness of the other CW shows. Looper chick forgot that smallville supes universe was restored back to how it was as Guggenheim confirmed recently and his two daughters was based off another superman story where once they come of age get powers too. Hopefully they dive into that at some point down the line.

Okay so I know that they weren't shown in cameos after the restored multiverse but I do have hope that huntress and the old Batman TV show etc some of these people actually survived because with the latest Supergirl episode showing that some people from different earths were able to live on on the new Earth and most likely other universes Earth's as well so keeping hope alive.
Black Lightning was not a paragon, Routh's Superman's Earth did not combine with Earth Prime while Earth 2 which had no paragon combined with Earth. The Green Lantern Earth was the Earth of the Green Lantern movie.

i love the fact the Arrowverse (DC multiverse, which apparently includes the DCEU) respect all of its history from the last century. the MCU on the other hand, ignores everything that is not in the MCU films.
Not really . The MCU will include the netflix characters in the future once the netflix contract is up in a couple years. They had Jarvis from Agent Carter cameo in Endgame and they were gonna have the Defenders cameo in IW but didnt include them because there was a lot going on in the movie already. Just be patient . Marvel knows what they're doing

I suspect that they did it to explain away the inconsistencies between the two shows. Yes, the Titans met one version of the Doom Patrol; no, Gar was never at Doom Manor in the Doom Patrol we know and love. And if they ever introduce Cyborg on Titans don't be surprised if he's portrayed by a different actor!

The spectre isn't a "relatively obscure" Character, he's one of the first heroes in the DC universe, a founding member of the Justice society and appeared in several JSA JLA crossovers, he was NEVER obscure. Who the hell is responsible for these videos?

The Arrowverse creators also stated emphatically that Earth-167 survives with Smallville's story intact and Clark & Lois alive and happy.
Particularly as I have limited knowledge of the Arrowverse, as huge as it is, I really enjoyed this crossover! Needed more Alex, but she's always been my draw. :)

One thing with Earth -75: I could also be a reference to the abysmally cheesy Superman the Musical which aired, I believe, in 1975.

There is a scene of Superman and Lois at the end that has me super confused. Only the seven paragons remember everything before and during Crisis but not the new timeline, everyone Martian Manhunter and his ring touched remember both timelines. Superman wasn't a paragon so he remembered both timelines, then why was he confused at the end when Lois called him and said they had two kids if he has known the whole time?
I remember clearly that it was implied that only the paragons remembered everything so I am still super confused.

1st: why was Clark shocked about his two childs? I know J'onn brought his memories back, but he is actually from the new universe, so he should remember them.

How does J'onn exactly gave the memories back? First i thought he just showed them what happened, but after mia and so on we saw things, that he shouldnt know. He just recreated memories, which shouldnt even exist in this world. Especially in Mias case.
