Turbo Barra Swapped 40 Series LandCruiser - Rig Rundown
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 сер 2024
- First up in the rig rundown series is Richard's turbo barra swapped 40 series LandCruiser conversion.
This build has an insane amount of mods including a 4wd engine swap 40 series cab onto an 80 series chassis. Installed a barra turbo engine with a ZF 6 speed and 80 series transfer case. On top of that, he converted GU Patrol diffs while making a custom aluminium airbox, stainless steel snorkel & a custom stainless exhaust.
There are just some of the modifications he did in this crazy build

Richard is a master craftsman. Sensational build. And an engineer! His background shows in the quality and calculated work. Cheers
He's definitely highly skilled and motivated! Lots of attention to detail.
Onya Richard, well done my friend and YES, take him out on the tracks, PLEASE. Seeya Rob
I seen this thing at the show the video does not do it justice this thing was amazing great job mate
I watched the 45 getting built it’s definitely a one off a kind awesome workmanship awesome design and yes let’s see it off road but definitely no bog holes cheers
That might rule out a Toolangi trip then... 🤔😂
probably the best custom 40 series on the planet...shld've went with the 9 1/2 inch Toyota diffs tho but it loses nothing for that...very nice car
Nissan diffs are better anyway
Shit yeah, get this rig out there! Stellar job Ricky!!

Weapon of a car. Can’t wait to see is on the tracks. Even on tour

Hell yeah. That engine must be a beast
I've watched almost all of his episodes.
Would have loved to have donated my 1983 45 to the cause but it was just to rusty so she's on a farm now !! To have it like this was a dream for the last 30 years .
better choice of engines the mighty barra over the LS .....also most to nice to get into some serious mud and deep water nice build

😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈Sorry i haven't watched you in so long ..... i thought you went private for paying viwers ... you made the holden colardo wagon the epic vehicle based on all your abilities of testing in controled environments. ... i still remember whennyou starting getting sponsors ....😈😈😈😈😈😈
Hi Mate, yes we started 18 years ago! Nah we never went private but a contract with a TV station stopped us from putting content on UA-cam. We fixed that a few years ago, so now we are back!
What engineers did you get
Track down Richard's UA-cam and ask there mate.
If he doesn't go and use it , it's a waste . Mad workmanship . Go hard .
Whip it out mate
Where is the Jesus bar for me to hold on to 😬
A Ford motor in a land cruiser, sorry I threw up a little bit.
Good way to go backwards
