Last but not least I want to give HUGE SHOUTOUT to the entire CSI Starbase team on discord. This dedicated team of 100+ agents with specialties ranging all across the board, has been crucial in getting the most accurate info for these episodes. Couldn't do it without yal! - Наука та технологія
One of the best video camera shot I've seen. Those pieces of concrete, and other lighter things, were more visible than any other video i've seen so far.
Agreed - best video I've seen, and awesome audio.
Those CRACKLES!!!
Lots of "controlled explosions", and some uncontrolled ones as well.
@@mustang607 that’s just the sound rocket engines make.
ua-cam.com/video/RnrDBkOX8Jc/v-deo.html
Can anyone explain why it sounds like that?
@@dirtypure2023 ua-cam.com/video/RnrDBkOX8Jc/v-deo.html
@@dirtypure2023 I was physically watching at S padre island about 4 miles away. the pop pop pop noise was real and not an artifact. I asked around and was told the popping noise is from the exhaust jet continuously exceeding the sound barrier, so each pop is a sound wave breaking peak. I was surprised as well.
One of the best drum solos ever!
There is a technical information vacuum surrounding Starbase for the last week. Desperately awaiting a long-format video from csi Starbase to fill me in!
Same!
CSI fill us in
WERD!! Can't wait
The end of the beginning?
Great footage, and as i just said over on fraser Cains channel..."Its a bit ironic we've gone from the analogy of not having to destroy the jumbo jet after a single use to, destroying the airport after a single use". keep up the great content..subscribed.
I asked you about the concrete a few weeks ago, I think you were hopeful, but had reservations as well. looks like those engines blew a gaping hole through our most pessimistic thoughts on that. it's amazing it even got off the pad with car sized concrete launched nearly to the height of the 1st stage, and yet with all that damage it still made max Q, and even more impressive it didn't break when it corkscrewed the last part of the flite. I for one think you had the best footage/audio, at least for lift off. looking forward to the next video 👍
That was amazing audio
Looking forward to seeing your analysis of the launch aftermath from the moment I first saw that ginormous crater.
Damn that is crazy close! Incredible footage and audio! I can't imagine how loud it was from such a short distance!
These cameras can take that video from 4 miles away
Loud enough that the first thought in your head is "We are way too close"
I need that next video ASAP! This is my favorite Space Informative Channel out of my list. Hope to see it soon!
Great video of the debris ejecta! I'm amazed it made it off the launch pad. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and share. Really looking forward to your deep dive.
One of the better views in my opinion, thanks for sharing!
That sound is incredible.
That sound!!!! 😮
Actually this was the best video/audio in my opinion. It made me feel like I was there filming it myself. Kinda more personal. Good Job!
Thank you Zak. As usual, despite all the other pundits with cameras at the scene, you got the most revealing shot showing the concrete debris lofted skyward by the Boring Company's newest excavator. And the audio is fabulous! As soon as it started I had to stop, turn the Video and my computer audio up to eleven and replay the show from the start. Absolutely fabulous!!!! Almost like being there. Maybe.
As Elon prefers to avoid flame trenches, partly I'm sure because there won't be any on the Moon or Mars, maybe the Boring Company could excavate a flame tunnel under the wetlands to exit away from sensitive areas and human habitat too. 😇
I'm sure your reveal in the upcoming video will be to your always very high standard. I'm looking forward to it.
Wow. Thank you! That means a lot. Wasnt expecting this kind of response at all. Geoff did some pretty heroic work stabilizing all of this
I think that was the best audio I've heard from all the launch videos and that's what I can't wait for the most seeing it in person on the 2nd or 3rd launch: great video! 🚀
The best footage I have seen yet! "Snap Crackle Pop!" It broke so many waves, simply breathtaking. Thanks Zach!
Can’t wait for your report. What a trip it’s been.
Looking forward to it. CSI is the best source of detailed information on Starship.
Zack!!! That was awesome !!! Can't wait for your deep dive investigation into the launch!! Keep up the amazing work!!!
Great angle and the crackle of rocket engines is so satisfying.
Absolutely INSANE shot. LOVE the audio and the clarity of flying concrete!!
those shots of the debris are insane LOL
After seeing this video, I have realized that it was a damn miracle that starship even cleared the pad. The sheer amount of concrete getting blasted into the would have damaged the ship pretty bad. Looking forward to the deep dive video Zack. As always, great video and great work.
Waiting eagerly bro jack for next episode 😊😊😊 your analysis are mind-boggling addicted to ur content outstanding hope u bring it soon
Glorious audio, sounds amazing on a good system
I'm not an "I told you so" kind of guy....wait. Yes I am. Wayyyyy more damage than I imagined though. Way more. Now I think I know why those tower segments haven't been stacked somewhere yet. Tower 2 is in serious review I bet. Looking forward to possible solutions presented as you make sense of it all so well. But, holy s*** was that a beast!?! 🤙
Sounds like a drum solo. wow. Well done.
Eagerly anticipating the deep dive. You rock Zack.
I can hardly wait for your deep dive! Truly a CSI video.
I still can't beleive seeing something that big, the biggest ever of its kind lift off,
it was a surreal holy s--- moment haha
Then the sound. As if beseeching Thor himself.
Bro you send it ! It certainely the best quality sound on youtube !!
I’ve never been this early to one of your videos I’m truly honored to be here right now
Thanks ! - Helps to put us ‘at the scene’ ! - when we can’t actually be there..
Insane audio capture. And holy cow thats a lot of flying concrete.
Thanks!
As a famous spacefarer once said "we don't cross our fingers and hope things go right... that"s not how we do things". Words to live by in many professions. SpaceX was very lucky. That was some fantastic footage. With reported damage 6+ miles away, that had to feel incredible.
SpaceX did things differently from the very beginning though
One of the best videos that shows the early destruction.
That's an interesting angle nobody else has. Can't wait for the deep dive
Simply incredible.
MY GOODNESS that is some FINE shooting Mr.!
Best shots of detritus I have seen.
"its fixin' to get loud" Best understatment.
I will be waiting for your assessment Zack.
My favorite youtuber when it comes to Starship. Keep up the amazing work on breaking down the engineering / science behind this behemoth. Good to see you working with others to document such a monumental challenge in spaceflight history. Can't wait to see your deep dive video :)
Holy F. Best audio i have heard so far.
Can't wait for you to analyze the -launch pad- crater starship left behind
You can literally here the concrete being shattered. Can’t wait from your analysis. Awesome angle and found. Can’t wait for what you have to say about this.
My favorite film of the launch. Great job.
Much Appreciated Zack & Crew.
Your extra work is very much appreciated, Zack
Two words for CSI Starbase: "Called it". I bet if the the pad had held together SpaceX would have had a even more successful launch.
Can't wait for the deep dive
What an amazing shot! I can't wait to see your analysis
That sound, as incredible as it is makes me wonder if point to point is going to he accepted in cites around the world
What did you say? *ear rining intensifies*
Supersonic passenger planes making a comeback would basically spell the end of point 2 point passenger travel imo, the convenience of an airport vs. driving out to some remote launchpad
Can't wait for your in-depth video. Great video of the launch!
Headphones required. Headphones a MUST.
This is the best footage and audio that i have seen so far and i have seen a lot
Love your work. Seeing your vids was a bright spot in my day. Also thanks for your commentary, which is always thoughtful and gets me thinking.
🙋♂️THANKS ZACH, FOR SHARING THIS…LOOKING FORWARD 👀 YOUR INSIGHTS 🧐💚💚💚
Wholly Cow you can really see the Chunks of concrete fly in your video!
Gezzzum Peetts that one huge piece was at least 30 by 10 feet in size relative to Starship!
Nice shots Zack, thanks for catching the action so clearly.
Take it easy guys,
Casey
Incredible video. You are easily the most underrated and undersubscribed Starship related channel. Looking forward to the upcoming video!
Thank you!
Best sound yet!!
Best damn video I've seen of this. The concrete projectiles were just crazy.
Great, I'm here waiting for the next episode!
It's amazing to see those concussive energy waves ripple through the debris cloud like they do. It reminds me of watching some military exercises.
Thanks Zack Golden!
absolutely amazing footage!! that was so much worth the wait 😎
All too often the aim is to get good video footage and the audio is just not considered. To get the full impact of what is going on you need that audio's full dynamic range. I've not seen a launch in person but everyone says you 'feel' the sound. This just never comes across as the microphones are just not up to recording the full dynamic range. Well Zack you have gone a long way to achieving this as this is simply the best audio I have heard. I know more can be done but a 'pat' on the back Zack. Brilliant job
The CRACKLE of the engines is UnReal!!!
You may not have been a professional, but that was some of the best footage I have seen of the first part of the launch.
As ab audiophile, this sound energy is gold. You blasted me into audio heaven. I just wish they could just build a series of flame trenches but such a thing is impossible to do with the water table just feet from the surface.
The first night launch is going to be bonkers!!!
You are learning Zack. THIS is how a professional builds hype for their next piece of work. Also been meaning to congratulate you on your 🔥 intro/extro footage and music.
This channel is filled in insights and critical analysis. Can't wait for your next deep dive Zack!
Great to see your first hand video - looking forward to your next update.
Great Sound!!! Look at that Concrete Fly!!!
Absolutely incredible launch and footage.
Can’t wait to see your next video! Do your thang!!!!
i am going to the next launch. i want to feel those sound waves
Can it get any better!!
Woah this is amazing man great job
Incredible video and audio! Keep it up, looking forward to the next flight
That raw sound of the accumulation of mans achievements is suitable powerful and truly awe-inspiring.
THAT Launch IS VERY IMPRESSIVE ! ! !👍
All your apprehension of stage 0 came to life. So much damage! Anyone who viewed your video would have been alerted of the possibility of such catastrophic damage to stage 0. Keep up the good work.
i told yall months ago stage zero never stood a chance still exciting as hell , and the data they gathered is worth more than the rebuld costs imo great work again from Houston,KevinDc5
Thanks Zack, it was perfect Sir !!
That's what this world needs: More noise.
brilliant! this was amazing ZacK. Its one fo the best lift off takes. Woohoo!!!!!!
Can’t wait for your next video, so in depth and detailed 👍🏻👍🏻keep up the gd work
Sure enjoyed meeting you at Rocket Ranch. Again, thank you for all you do!
Thank you!!
Amazing sound, and cannot wait for the deep dive!
Best view I've seen yet of the smaller concrete missiles getting thrown up during launch! Great footage! Thank you!
Excellent, as usual Zack!!!
I thought I'd run out of goosebumps for this launch, but seeing those thousands of fragments shoot higher than the rocket itself... oh maaaaaaaaaaan, your next video is going to be Christmas come early
Awesome sound! Can’t wait for the next deep dive!
OMG... Thank you so much!!!!
Awsome sound and can't wait for the next dive the teasers were exciting
Absolutely amazing footage! A million thanks for this...
thats some pretty good video of the concrete spewed out of the cloud, didn't notice that before, only the large parts
Good god look at all the crud that kicked up great footage
Thanks Zack !
