Its in filipinotown/ westlake..borders east hollywood and silverlake to the north and westlake south. Its the rampart area by tommys burgers etc.
When I hear East Los I think of them eses up in the hills , Boyle heights white fence big hazard. Way out there in the hills lol when I hear eastSIDE , I think south central. Since from what I've been told the 110 freeway runs right down the middle of south central which is what divides it. Anything on the right is eastside south central, anything on the left is westside south central. But then u got K town , Mid City, and that's where I get lost lol
Boyle heights white fence hazard isn't East LA it's east side LA along with Lincoln Heights n El Serrano then u have East Los more deep in2 the East side gets a little confusing but spi 4rm south central East South Central 2 be exact
Lincoln Heights is the original Eastside
K town is before the freeway It's central LA its north east of mid city and west adams and north of downtown LA. Mid city is north of the freeway and slightly east of West adams...mid city is technically not south central LA because its above the freeway its right before West LA (Proper) starts
That's a pretty cool interview, That's Also a pretty on point perspective from the diverse communities of what we're seeing as we're being gentrified and the takeover has been on.
I grew up around silver lake but between lacc I tell ppl I’m from west LA the shit is confusing asf
1923: 100yrs of existence, minimum.
East side is east of the 110 in south central , east Los Angeles is right after Boyle heights, Mata villa etc , echo park temple st McArthur park etc is just down town la ,
Geographically their central LA..There neighborhood is the heart of rampart (South Echo Park) next to the old rampart station if ur talking St shit there Westside
Its the Rampart District 213, Inner city WES LOS
SELA east of Alameda st from Washington st Downtown LA
The 110 splits the east n west of SOUTH CENTRAL South of LA.
LA is broken down to Districts.
And from the 10 freeway to imperial. Then from the 710 to la Brea. South central.
member the homie from temple street was a rider to
Yup I’m old school a Veterano hang around Coronado and Temple st. In 90’s
Cool homie young just people say tattoo make you look older.
🕷
EAST LOS BOYLE HEIGHTS AREA
T’s up…
It’s being gentrified by not only Caucasians but by new Asians Mexicans Africans Filipinos etc. that temple street area are also new Filipinos new generation of all kinds
Pinoy Locos
Bruh born in ‘98?? Not to take anything away from raza or his gangster but his upbringing diff. Bruh was ganging after 2010. Ganging was just different in the 90’s and early 2000’s. If you was born in late 70’s or early 80’s, you know it was up.
He said 90 bro he’s 32 or 33
You need to clean your ears bro . He said he was born in 1990 like me . He’s 33 now
@@7601jrod that’s not any better 😂😂😂 when y’all was teens bangin was already past the worst of it. Go ahead please tell me ‘07 was really lit 😂😂😂
@@1aadam I was bangin up north in Stockton in the late 80's early 90's. Stovktonhad Nortenos and Sur and Brown Pride who ran with both. It was real real shit back then.
I was born in 93 I caught a lil bit of the early 2000s but it is way less static now
And what you win being a gang member nothing
When I hear gentrification I think Asian. Like Korean and Japanese.
Bullsh. They were there already but if you’re talking about new Asians then I agree. Anybody who moved in (took over someone’s home) after the year 2000 is gentrification
Aint they off Alvarado and Temple
No they off of Coronado and temple
@@raulpena6797 close enough foo
@@mguerra310 That’s a whole different hood G lol..Close tho
