  • It was a little windy ... but still fun. This was the first flight of the F-14 at my club field. I didn't manage to hit our tiny runway, but it was still a good landing.

    Hey !! I like seeing your progress with this EDF Jet ! WellDone. Keep your Scan going with that Wind Sock... once you got Turned Around, that last Landing was Great !! Cheers

      Thanks. It’s amazing how easy it is to get tunnel vision and not realize the wind has picked up again. When I took off there was no wind.. but then it snuck up on me.

    Ha! I stalled my AvantiS in the exact same spot. Your R>L landing was nearly perfect. 👍

    Im trying to determine if im going to go on an get this jet , i already have the 80mm , but i also know that this one is a different mess , im liking the fact that its a one battery setup an smaller , but what im not feeling is that is because of the "wingload" is much different an that makes the stall alot snappier than the 80mm an i had to deal with more than enough to accomplish the real feel for the 80mm . This one im sure i can get with but i don't think i want to be disappointed in the fighting the tipstall , because my fying area is short on the pavement and yes grass plenty BUT not much for this size jet in playing in .
