Leo Vince LV10 Exhaust for Husqvarna Svartpilen 401

- Bit the bullet and bought a shiny new exhaust for the Svartpilen. Not the FF Fresco that I'd wanted to buy, but you can blame the dash on my van lighting up like a Christmas tree for that!
This exhaust is popular for a reason. It gives you the most bang for your buck. That was partly why I was trying to avoid it. But talking to people like Sema John made me realise that I was being daft and was going to be cutting off my nose to spite my face!
Very happy to admit that I was wrong in this case. The bike sounds ace now. It's lost some of the empty 'tinny' treble and picked up a little more bass. The standard exhaust sounded pretty good but it was very quiet on a constant throttle. The LV10 is still audible and that being said doesn't become an irritating drone on a journey.
I've an MOT to book before the end of the month and I reckon this'll fly through it without having to swap it out for the stock can. I'll let you know how that goes...

Both exhausts were filmed using a combination of GoPro Session 5s and a Hero 8. You may/may not like one over the other. That's up to you. We are all looking for different things in life, so we won't always agree on what's cool and what's not!

Ueah, it's a proper fun bike. I mainly bought it because I loved how it looks. Thought it would handle okay. But it's MUCH more fun to ride than I was expecting. It's great to have a bike that allows you to use every single drop of its performance too.

Hi Ally. It's the AGV AX-8 Naked. Nice and light as it's carbon. Compared to my other lids the visor is less like looking out of a letterbox and more like a massive window.

Little feedback about your video. Try to make it shorter and work on sound levels - the music parts are way too loud
I prefer to watch longer form videos myself PM so that's the format I go go with. As for the sound, it's really difficult to dial in on Filmora. I edit wearing headphones and quite often there's a big difference between how things sound on my laptop/TV/mobile device. Sorry if it's spoiling your viewing, but it's not intentional.
Is this with FuelX Lite or just the LV10?

The helmet is very light and the visor puts everything into wide-screen compared to the 'normal' style. Because it's carbon you get a little more wind noise, but I wear ear defenders anyway so not an issue.

They are onto the AX-9 these days. Other colours etc.

Not too loud for me. I wear ear plugs normally though. A couple of times I've forgotten to put them in and was more annoyed by wind blast on my helmet than the exhaust.
Passed the UK MOT with no issues too. Not even an advisory.

There's a separate version for that bike/year KK. This version is for the 2018-19 model so there's likely a slight difference between the two.

Instead of removing the header, try the Comp Werkes pre-muffler pipe. Made the stock muffler sound better.I will be installing the same muffler soon.If too loud I'll install the Leo vince db killer for that specific lv-10

@@CampbellZeroOne The big round box tucked in the frame is a pre muffler. .it is hollow
@@brucelongdog I didn't know that. I thought it was the catalytic converter and would screw up emissions when tested for the annual MOT certificate?
@@CampbellZeroOne the svart has 2 cats. A small one where the header curves below the engine and a bigger one thats slides into the black pre muffler. The black box is just a hollow chamber that softens the exhaust note. Taking it off would make the bike sound like a dirt bike. (I took it off)

I was being stubborn by not wanting to buy one just because it's popular. I kept going back to it every time that I went online looking for alternatives. It just suits the bike 🤷🏻♂️
@@CampbellZeroOne Leo zinc's are a rare commodity 'Quality at a Reasonable Price' Unfortunately they've yet to release a model for my '21 Tuono V4. I'm leaning toward Spark.It exhaust 'Fighter' as Lance used 'Konic' on his factory. I haven't heard or ridden it as yet. Too busy with Drag Events & 2 more weeks till task might come off.

That bike sounds great as standard so no need to rush into buying something. Play the waiting game until you're sure it's the right one.
