🎮 Comment LJN never disappoints, so I was sure that even though the graphics look nice (except that it looks like Hulk is in that Spider suit) and there are plenty of bosses you know that something will spoil the fun. The controls make you furious. And the concept of different layers in the stages is annoying. There is a sewer stage that you can access for items. It is the same stage every time so I visited it twice and that’s it. The grenades you have are almost completely useless and the Fantastic 4 items are not really helpful either. They only seem to affect smaller enemies and do nothing to bosses. So I collected them only once to show them all. You get plenty of lives and you respawn on the spot so I took the liberty to die a few times since it would just take forever sometimes to avoid all the damage.
These marvel games on the SNES were always great games the animation the color palette the music and sound effects and the overall fun experience playing them was a 90's comic book fan's dream !!
@@TheEman590 I couldn’t lol I think ( been so long ) , but did Spider-Man have an episode featuring the X-Men? HOPING Disney doesn’t mess up “X-Men 97” ( sequel animated series ), yet given their current track record, I doubt it.
@@emmajade9507 There was indeed an episode of Spider-Man that crossed over with the X-Men. It was expensive to fly the Canadian voice actors in to do their characters, but it was good synergy for Fox Kids.
I rented this game from a Shop-Rite 30 years ago. I thought I dreamed it up because i remembered the gray and black armored suit. For what it's worth it plays decently well whereas many similar games at that time never delivered on the "climb and swing anywhere" aspect of Spider-Man. There's even a Spidey-sense mechanic. The music is pretty rough at tines though! 😅

both versions of this game have dreadfully unresponsive controls, but at least the Genesis version didn't give Spidey pink eyes!

There was this, there was Maximum Carnage, there was Spider-Man and X-men in Arcade's Revenge, and there was Revenge of the Sinister Six.
A really fun Spider Man game (Spider Man is my favorite superhero).
It's doesn't matter if it is from the SNES or Genesis, this Spider Man game is actually good.

This game had stress levels spiked as a kid ,I still wonder where I went wrong in the gameplay
