    Method chaining in java looks like this:
    myObject.someMethod().someOtherMethod().fart();
    As long as the previous method returns an object, you can still use methods that the object knows!
    I hope you enjoyed this java method chaining tutorial!

    Very recently discovered this channel. I used to hate school and hated learning as a result. I've recently had a change of perspective on life and this channel was just what I needed to get me back into learning again. Thanks so much Alex.

    I've finally watched all of your videos. Got through them today. They have helped SO MUCH. I am 44 years old and a seasoned COBOL professional. I never had much interest in pursuing the newer languages however my job is now going that direction and has been converting old legacy systems to newer technologies. While I am sad to see COBOL dying at my place of emplyment, I am happy that your videos have really boosted my confidence in java. THANK YOU!!

    It's amazing how you understand something simple at beginning, then a year later seeing multiple chainedmethods in online class freaks me out, i find this video and it explains to me chaining much better and in depth from the previous time i 'undertood' it, thanks man you rock!

    You are doing a great job with these tutorials! I like how you give very clear examples that make sense and it's easy to understand them. I am a CS student but by coincidence I didn't like the programing at all, now I decided to give it a new chance and I started reading a Java book and after every article I watch you videos to make the things even more clear! Thank you and keep it up! :)

    There are some really interesting things you can do with method chaining if you treat each step as immutable. Makes it so you can have a reusable base for example

    Hey, one question: Why is there a warning sign at my java project on the left side of the eclipse IDE? You have too at your Javatutorials and TenPrograms projects.
    Thank you for help! Can somebody please help me?

    • @Jan-bl9xg
      @Jan-bl9xg 3 роки тому

      Clips.ツ hey, i‘m not sure, but I think this warning sing means that you have unused variables or objects in your project.
      For example, imagine you have this line of code:
      int i = 5;
      If you never use this variable to create some output, the warning sign appears.
      So the IDE wants to remind you that you should either do something with this variable or delete it, because it currently doesn‘t affect your output.
