I also faced similar things as Kirti bhaiya in my 10th CBSE board exams. I scored 86.4 percent with no cheatings and I was really happy about when the results came out! BUT! After some days I cried for 3 hrs just because my parents highly citicised even though I scored the highest in Social Science with 95 %. That day I realized ki society bahut hi cruel hai! And it took me some months to overcome that depression.

93.42% in 10th(2018) and took science and at 1st I was feeling that I would not be able to even pass in 11th but with the help of cheating got 77.8% in 11th(2019). Then suddenly I realised that theres no way back , so I started to focus like never before and got 92.8% in 12th (2020) and also got 12k rank in Neet 2020 and now get admission in govt. Medical college.

1st±2nd year aggregate: 77%
Even I was ashamed of showing these marks because out of pressure I thought not liking studies and not being able to score marks is a sin. But now I realized that even with the so called low marks I still got in a college and life ahead has endless possibilities. These marks are merely numbers if I want them to be. Or they can by my life if I choose so. It's upto me. So now I freely say that I hate studying in the Indian education system and I hardly studied so in comparison to that my marks are quite impressive and I'm happy with it. Others are happy or not? Not my concern. It's my marks and my life.

I got 85 % last year. Despite my parents not saying much to me, I could see the dissapointment in their eyes, most likely because half of the students in our class got above 90%, it was kinda heartbreaking because I worked really hard all year and tried my best to score well in the exams. As an already insecure person, it made me question my self worth constantly. The fact that I couldn't make my own parents happy, the only two people who've been there since the very beginning made me under confident. Anyway, I couldn't even get into the college I actually wanted :/
Maybe you're not smart enough. IQ, understanding skills, memory power are important. If you don't have much of these, no matter how hard you work you'll never get above 90%. Also you probably just crammed up your materials in your memory without understanding.

i have my board exam (2023-2024) 2 days after today and this video appeared on my youtube after being uploaded 3 years ago. I am relating it to a lot of my friends. He surely is an intellect and made a great video years back, showing even today’s reality…
Summary: Boards are just a small piece of a much larger phenomenon. A period of time which demands ultra level efforts and the result of which impacts you to a great degree. What should you do? Do it and treat the result as a byproduct of your journey. Because then you might actually enjoy preparing for the exams and learning the stuff, results would become a point, an arguably important point indeed, but from a satisfactory point of view, the journey would take the cake in your head, resulting in an emotion which is geared toward doing stuff for the sake of doing it instead of weighing it by its aftermath.

Damn, This story is same as mine. I scored 87.2% in my 2019 12th Science boards, So my father and mother both expressed the satisfaction waali feeling... But I knew that they expected a 90+ score for me. Also, I found them saying that my score was 90+. So at that Time I understood that they expected more from me.
Unfortunately, I had tuberculosis in that same year. So, I was unable to perform well. Mai apne result se dukhi bhi tha but ek bahana tha TB ka... So I moved on.... But I never saw my results in the same perspective of yours.... Thanks Kirti, That was much needed. 🙂✨

I was very nervous and anxiety level was very high and as usual CBSE suddenly announced the result before actual timing. I got 92% (science stream 😂 ) and everyone was happy. If I got less marks they would be happy with that too, at the end family understands you ❤❤

I scored 96.4% in 10th but still felt as a failure cuz one of my cousin got 97% and every relative praised her but nobody even congratulated me and I felt very bad but now I realise that my mentality was wrong

These parents who expect 90% from their children mostly never have scored that much but expect their children to do so. Especially to please society. As I always said , I as being a introvert always feels same as that of you and whenever watch your videos I feel just like listening to my own story by myself in Hindi . But !!!!! I think I am very much lucky because of one thing that I have way better than others. That's my family . My family is a middle class farmer family. Most of my family members are uneducated or less educated. Because of which they faced many problems in their lives. At the time of my 10th results I assured my family that I score at least 92% which was my lowest score till date . When results declared , lwas in shock!! I just got 83% . This might be not sound like bad marks but for topper student like me our own expectation are so high . I lost my senses for an hour . I didn't know how to face my family. But later when I talked to them , all of them were so happy even though my marks were nothing compared to my school topper cousins. They never compared me with anyone. Sometimes I wonder if I deserve such nice family or not . But deep inside .......I know I am just too lucky🙂🙂
