I agree with the notion of a kit. I think most rc car companies should offer a kit form. I also think, if youre serious about these trucks, buy a fayee fy004a ir eachine eat01 (bothfully proportional, the same rig) and upgrade that, use the leftover electronics for one of these guys, bam done. 1 upgrade cost, 2 upgraded rcs. Win. Great vids, always!!
I just bought the JJRC q75 I think was the model. The 6x6 emulating a HEMTT. I've been searching for upgrades, but it's hard to tell compatability from the descriptions. The frame appears to be the same as the b36 trucks, so I've been looking at mods for those, but I'm really looking to upgrade the steering. It's pitiful out of the box. I've seen a 17g steering box along with a servo steering upgrade mount, but I have no clue what this means. I'm looking for smooth, incremental steering like on my rc4wd Trailfinder 2. Can i upgrade this on the q75?
Yes everything is upgradable. I'll find you a link to the servo etc. You will need to change the electronics also but this is pretty straightforward. I think I made a video on upgrading a Q60/61 if you fancy a watch? It's basically the same truck. 👍👍
Nice to see jjrc upping their game with little things like a bigger battery, opening doors also 🤤 they really need to add a bigger motor and servo now. Imo fayee done a better job on this one.
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 fayee are putting out some pretty decent rigs, my only negative is the older models dont get any of the new updates like metal gears and servo steering, the fy002 would be one of my favourites if it didn't come with that noisey steering box and some metal gears.
Hello, as I saw, you have both trucks, the one from JJRC and the Fayee. By the way, nice videos you make there. I have a decision problem, which of the two is the better quality and more suitable. Thanks for your answer and keep up the good work. good health and many greetings Toni
Hello Toni. The Fayee wins hands down for me every time. It's just far superior in every way, and they cost about the same too. So it's a no brainer. Buy the Fayee you won't regret it. 👍👍👍 Thanks for watching!
Just bought one. I’m a complete novice in the RC world. I want it to be better. I would like to upgrade the motor. How do I start and where do I look? Thanks
Hello. This video might help you it's upgrading a Q60 which is basically the same as your Q75. The address is ua-cam.com/video/mJ3vXEBaEJY/v-deo.html . If you need any further help or information please feel free to contact me. The great thing about JJRC'S is there's plenty of upgrades about so the choice is plentiful. 👍
I can get one from ebay for £35 and I'm using the chassis including a bigger drive motor and combining it with a huin1573 dump truck with two n20 push rods for better tipping and thick grease for the diffs so they have a better grip as I've noticed from a few vids diffs are pretty weak without grease but can't wait and the spec for the price 🤯
Sounds like a plan! It's a good looking truck only let down by its terrible electronics. It is far cheaper than the MANKAT for some reason even though it's basically the same? 👍👍👍
I’m about to pick up one tomorrow for $20 on offer up, I was thinking of buying two of them since they are $67 on Amazon each. Dam maybe I’ll just get one. Lol
I'm thinking about getting one of these truck so I could install ArduPilot FC and make it a rover so I could learn the ArduRover. Which model would you recommend? Looking for one with good platform, I don't need the body anyway, just the platform.
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 well, it just need to be big enough to support a pixhawk board, GPS sensor, raspberry pi, some fpv camera, action camera, extra battery, rc receiver (all these stackable, take space about the palm of an adult man, but more space and more load capacity the better). Less than 1kg altogether price cap about US$80 max, preferrably around US$50. It's just a stepping stone platform for me to learn hwo to config ardupilot system and the sensors, before i move on and use it on an airplane. doesn't have to be superb with the off road handling. i'll run it mostly on tarmac and cobblestone anyway.
@@AnasSuhaimi well if that's the case then this would fit your bill. As a hobby RC truck they are a bit crap but as a remotely controlled dolly for a camera on tarmac it would probably do. It's non proportional if that makes a difference but they are very easy to upgrade. The motor is a bit lacking but if you removed the excess body, your electronics will probably weigh less. So no loss in performance. And, although your proberbly not in a position to take advantage of this. They are £25 in the UK on eBay at the moment. 👍👍

Well I didn't think my Fayee was too bad. The axles weren't much good off road and the springs are to stiff. But with the addition of thick diff oil and WPL springs improves it no end. The JJRC though is pretty poor. 😞
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 I got one Fayee 6x6 and the servo failed before I discharge the first battery, the axles on Fayee and jjrc I use then for my trailers only, the Fayee wheels are not military or big truck wheels and if you compare it with the B36, I think you will agree
