The scene that this song plays in on episode 15, always makes me cry when i watch it, and ive seen it a hundred times!! Grace Bickem, the elderly lady that Meredith calls time of death on, reminds me of my grandma that passed away two years ago. So that whole episode, and especially that scene gets to me everytime!! I love you grandma, RIP!!
This scene is when Meredith has to pull the plug for the first time on a patient, grace an old lady who had a DNR, and she goes to the closet and cries and Derek comes and she hyperventilated and he gives her a bag to breathe in and akdjabd
Thank you for this - I cry every single time I listen to this song but at the same time it‘s so beautiful I just can‘t not listen to it. It remembers me of my relationship with my father who used to be the best father there is but suddenly when I was 13 it seemed like he hated me. Since then he is mean to me and neither me nor my mother know why.
I don´t know if I should love that or just cry....I´m just gonna do both. It even makes so much sense, considering Chyler sings a bit deeper that Ellen does
It's a big girl world now Full of big girl things And everyday I wish I was small I've been counting on nothing But he keeps giving me his word And I am tired of hearing myself speak Do you ever get weary? Do you ever get weak? How do you dream When you can't fall asleep? I've been wondering what you're thinking And if you like my dress tonight? Would you still say you love me Under this ordinary moonlight? I'm so afraid of what you'll say I'd like to know if you'd be open To starting over from scratch I'd like to know if you'd be open To giving me a second chance I used to think I was special And only I have proved me wrong I thought I could change The world with a song But I have ended up in India With no lamp to guide me home. The strangest place I think I have ever been And all this time I thought that we were friends My stubborn will is learning to bend. I'd like to know if you'd be open To starting over from scratch I'd like to know if you'd be open To giving me a second chance I'd like to know if you'd be open To starting over from scratch I'd like to know if you'd be open To giving me a second chance It's a big girl world now Full of big girl things
Episode 2x15 Izzie patient is a pregnant teen reading Julius Caesar to her baby , izzie subliminally tells her it would be wise to give up her baby so she can have a normal life. Izzie also reveals she had to give up her daughter whose 11 now because she was 16 and too young *that means Izzie is 27* , izzies daughters name is Hannah and she likes pigs . stuffs animals , stickers , stuff like that. Its big girl world now
I love this user, 'cause I had the song in my head but didn't knew the lyrics or episode it was from, luckily I knew meredith was crying when this song came, so I googled and someone asked the same thing and he said the episode number so all I had to do was search right here =)
Beautiful song, one of the best Why do I have the image of Katherine Heigel standing outside the producers office singing the chorus again and again after her career went South

Hauntingly beautiful song! The scene with Meredith makes me bawl like a baby!

The « and akdjabd » sumerise pretty well the scene and the silent dialog undergoing shepperd head « i want to kiss her hold her more and more etc »
IK :(

I agree I just keep watching the first four seasons over and over.
That new cast was horrible.
In my opinion once Sandra Oh left that was it.

Felicity did it first.
