I grew up in Pennsylvania in the Amish I was taught to follow the Amish rules and hope to get to heaven as I got older. I couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t have more peace. Finally, somebody gave me an English Bible, and I found out that Jesus is the way the truth and the life I accepted him as my Lord and savior. It felt like two concrete blocks fell off my shoulders. The Lord was patient with me for sure. I was away from Him for 20 years when he called me back. I now understand the gospel better than I ever did before. I obey Him not to earn righteousness, but because he gave that to me. He gave me the best gift that can be given, why not show that appreciation by serving Him?
@@blainhannam7478 Sure. Legalism, frustration with the church and habitual sin drove me away. What brought me back was my grandfather dying. He was a godly man with a terrific testimony. The Holy Spirit led me to look at my own life and realize the path I was on wasn't right. I had that "still, small voice" tell me He wants everything, my whole life. It took a little bit to actually let go, but once I prayed that prayer, giving everything, I felt a peace I had never felt my whole life. Now I have been studying the law/gospel distinction and it has helped a lot. Knowing that I can do NOTHING to be justified and that it's entirely a gift received through faith gives me an understanding I never had before. It's freeing. Following the law is expected for many reasons, but not for my salvation.

The best way I understand salvation is by my own testimony. For the longest time I was addicted to drugs and pornography and anything else in the mix with not a care in the world what I was doing and how I was wrecking my life. One night I just broke in tears having anxiety attacks and no where to turn to. I cried out to God to save me and just take it all away. Afterwards of praying to him I started feeling better and over time all the things I was doing was bothering me really bad and I just started letting go of it all. I was getting a hunger more or less a desire to know God as much as possible and still to this day 4 years after that night. Longer story short I do sin here and there but not without conviction. In all reality we bring to the table. Salvation is a free gift and he who began a good work in me will finish it.
Once saved you enter into a state of grace its rebirth if you fall your father is there to pick you as would any loving father.we will make mistakes until the day we leave this earth. If you let the Holy spirit do his job you will grow from a small shoot into a mighty oak praise the the Lord

So when we are renewed in Heaven, we will be much more like our Father. We will have His complete wisdom, His understanding, His perspective, and we will be incorruptable. In the resurrection, believers will be made perfect, free from sin, and incapable of falling (1 Corinthians 15:42-44; Revelation 21:27). This perfection is a result of God's grace and sanctification, not merely human effort (Ephesians 2:8-9). Angels, being created holy but not perfected by grace in the same way, were susceptible to falling. For humans, God’s grace through Christ ensures a future state where falling away is impossible. Humans in Heaven will be glorified and fully conformed to Christ (Romans 8:29-30).

Hi brother...it was not Noah but Lot who did that with his daughters. I believed on Jesus as my Lord and Saviour at 38 yrs of age in 2003. I can absolutely testify to the longsuffering and tenderheartedness of God towards me, a sinner saved by His grace. I make less 'mistakes' now than I used to as a new child of God but the mistakes still happen and I thank God that I can confess them to Him immediately and keep that list short. If you accept Jesus you are saved, there is nothing else you have to do. No matter what someone on UA-cam tries to tell you. That's God's grace, and the reason Jesus died on the cross for us.

I need to get it through my thick skull that I'm saved. I accepted Jesus to save me and make me anew. I am, by no means, spiffy in terms of being a Christian, i struggle sometimes when I try and build a relationship with my savior, sometimes I view my daily prayer as a task to get out of the way, and that in turn makes me feel fear over if I'm truly going to heaven or not, if I'm truly a Christian when I sin, don't keep Jesus in my heart all the time, and I hold more value in the world then Jesus. But, I also know, that I'm a dummy, and I will fall down, I will sin, and I will fail, but as long as I get right back up, and just love Jesus like a father, (Not exactly like a father, but you know what I mean) I may not be spiffy as a Christian, but Jesus still saved me, it is through him I am saved. Hi sir! I appreciate your message. I’m 54 I’m a mom of 3 grown children. My daughter will be 36 in February and I have 2 sons 32 and 24. My daughter is severely disabled. I went to a party the night of my high school graduation. Yes I drank beer. Three guys took advantage of me and left me on the mountain. When my daughter was born I was 18. I knew nothing about babies. When my daughter was 4 1/2 months old the experts said she was severely disabled and would not live long. I grew up really fast. To make a lot story short. I do everything for her but breathe. God has a funny sense of humor! I’m 5 foot nothing she’s full grown woman size. She is feisty too. She tries to beat me up when I caring for her. I feel like I wrestle and alligator every day. She tries to bite , pull my hair, hit and claw me. The hardest part is she laughs and thinks it’s funny. I can say she’s not boring. I have spent every day of her life trying to keep her from dying. I have prayed for years that we go together in the rapture. She almost 36. God is in control of the number of her days. Her feistiness has kept her alive. She’s a fighter. It’s really cool. I tell her about Jesus coming so get to go to heaven and be with him. I shall walk and talk in here and I will sing and dance together for Jesus. Remember, I said she’s deaf. She gets excited and starts waving bye-bye so fast you think she could fly herself to heaven.. I believe that God has given her and understanding. She’s my earth angel. She’s kept me on the straight and narrow path. She’s the one that has raised me up to be the person that I am. I used to be angry at God because he let her be born that way I thought it was because I send that party by drinking and that’s why those guys did what they did. It took me years to understand my God gave me my daughter, so I have someone to love and someone to love me and so that I would have purpose. I was adopted as a baby. I never knew my mom and my parents. They adopted me and my dad till the day he died told me he never wanted me. I’m always wanted to be loved and accepted by my daughter and my mom sometimes ask in our prayers for something God answers them. It’s just not the way that we expect, God’s ways are not always our ways. I look so forward to Jesus coming and he can take me and my daughter with him and she’ll walk and talk hear and sing dance. There’s a Jewish man who started a company where parents like me come work and be a CNA and we get paid to be a parent CNA to our own children. I have worked for him for 23 years. He’s a blessing in our life. If you can do the basic things in life be grateful. Count your blessings. If you know or see someone struggling DONT JUDGE! Ask if you can help. Being a parent of a disabled child is so hard and lonely. Being disabled is harder and lonelier. Just be kind to everyone treat everyone the way God would want you to. I have been shunned years ago for my situation. But in one year I have lost everyone but my daughter and my mom who has dementia and is in a nursing home. I’m shunned because I proclaim Jesus is my Lord and Savior. My husband and 2 sons treat me terribly for my faith in Jesus. I can’t even see my granddaughter anymore. This life is hard but eternity is forever. If you have Jesus this life will be the worst you live. If you don’t have Jesus then this life will be the best you live. Heaven and hell are real and for eternity. Choose wisely!! Eternity is too long to be wrong.

It’s the willingness to live like Christ and let God change your heart to live righteousness rather than sin. Repenting of your past lifestyle is what leads you to saving faith. If you don’t think you deserve death for your past sins then you missed the gospel. It’s hard to come to faith in Jesus when you still think you’re a good person. Once we realize we’ve fallen short and we go to God asking for forgiveness and professing faith in what his son Jesus has done on the cross for us, we receive the Holy Spirit and He guides us and nobody or no thing can snatch us out of His hand. 🙏🏼
Repentance is simply a change of mind. It has nothing to do with turning from your past lifestyle. In the context of salvation, it is going from unbelief to belief.

The fact that it bothers you is a sign you actually are a Christian. A true born again believer is well aware of their sin and it bothers them. I know it bothers me. Someone once said to my mother “so you believe that a Christian can get saved and then go out and murder a bunch of people and still go to heaven?” And my mom simply said “if someone were to do that, they were never truly saved to begin with” we all continue to sin. The difference is, we’re aware of these sins before and especially after. And were remorseful. If you’re remorseful and wanna do better, then that’s the Holy Spirit inside you, working on you. It took a horrible car accident, nearly dying for me to turn away from a sinful life and come back to Jesus, and I’m so thankful I serve a loving and forgiving God.
We’re seeing a rise in the works-salvation deception, which scripture has warned about. They ultimately think we aren’t saved by God’s grace, but by our own merits, which makes them their own savior.

As we understand it by the gospel record, the very first word from Jesus when his ministry began was ”repent.” Jesus indeed is asking something of us. And He also gave warning of life without repentance. ”Unless you repent, you too will all perish.“ Luke 13:3 The works-salvation message is often misrepresented or just confuses people. A life void of sin itself is not our salvation. A monk on a mountain in Tibet could be living a disciplined life that happens to align with God's holy law, but this will not lead the monk to being saved. Jesus is the door and that is it. However, Jesus indicates many times, He is the Teacher, and He knows who are His simply by whether we are His students... or not. A student does their best to follow the teacher's instructions.

i just came from a kinda dark place and i prayed to the lord for guidance and i asked him to show me what i needed to see. i told him i would watch the second video i saw on my recommended about the lord and sure enough landed here. i feel as though ive got an okay understanding about the gospel and further more its why i have as much faith as i do in the lord. that being said i still consistently fall short of the glory of god and like a dog returning to its vomit well... i to return to mine. i know part of the point is like you said, fall seven times and raise 8 and well to be honest with regards to my sins ive lost count but i do at least try to raise every time. whether or not i do successfully ill be honest i have no clue. im worried that because i continue to turn from the lord like i do, even most of the time thinking about the lord as im sinning, im going to end up losing gods grace in my life. i feel as im typing this that the lord is angry with me even insinuating that but it is in one way or another my greatest fear. that on judgement day god will say "i never knew you" not to mention especially as of late ive seemingly been in my sin more then in the bible and ofc this is no excuse but life has not been to much help either. times are tough and thankfully it seems things will start to heal again since the new election (not to make this a political thing) but that is a huge sigh of relief for many im sure but even still life is not easy and i guess in a weird way i turn to sin to find comfort instead of the lord? i dont really understand it but regardless im a lost soul and im def in need of prayer. im sure many of you all go through something similar to some degree and i pray that the lord be with you all as well and guide us all!

I had to leave the church to find god and return again. I walked away from the cross and self-destruction followed me. The moment I turned back around Jesus was waiting for me in that very moment. Every step in my mind I could see he was always there with me. No matter how far I walked away from the cross it was never over the horizon, never outside of vision or reach. If someone asked me about my experience, I have nothing but my own testimony, nothing else. Years of church, prayer, and Sunday mass growing up never brought me to understand. I could never teach the gospel and only found it after I looked everywhere else, but the moment I turned back to Jesus, could he be god? Yes, that is when it happened.

Faith, sealed unto the day of redemption. Justified, sanctified. It is all in one time deal. Faith saved us and faith is how we walk. The law could never justify us, if it could then righteousness came by the law and Christ died in vain. Once saved always saved. Cannot lose it no matter what. If you believed the gospel and then went back to the world, you are still his. No sin will separate you from him once you have believed. He no longer recognizes your sin, he only sees his Son in you. Now sin does have consequences, but there is no sin that will separate you from God.
We need to come to the understanding that the Law is a witness against us, and our inability to keep it therefore requires something more than we can accomplish. The blood of Jesus frees us from that Law of sin and death! It's that simple! We have freedom from the consequences of the Law.
@ Essentially it does, otherwise Christ’s sacrifice is pointless. But what we choose to do with that freedom, is something between ourselves and God. We are supposed to use this freedom in order to live a life unburdened by the fear of the Law and to focus on doing what God has called us to do: preach the Gospel. The Law is good in itself, but when man tries to adhere to it he relies on himself, and not God. Galatians 5:13-14 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
So, after you are "saved", then the one place you can never go is Hell. You have a license to sin without consequence. Kind of like King David after his baby was killed.

If you believed in Jesus at one point (that he is the Christ, the Son of God who should come into the world and that he gives eternal life) then you have been saved and you cannot lose salvation. After Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed lot and his daughters came to rest. His daughters seeing everything they knew destroyed thought that they were the only ones left in the world, they devised a plan to get him drunk and repopulate the world with his seed. And that's what they did. That's probably one of the most uncomfortable stories from the Bible for me to read.

From what I’ve read, in the near eastern culture, the protection of strangers that you’ve taken in is such a sacred duty that you’ll go to extreme measures to honor that responsibility. Also, in 2 Peter chapter 2 it says that Lot’s “righteous soul” was “vexed” (worn down, exhausted, oppressed) from living among and seeing the wicked conduct of the people day after day. It seems that it messed with his ability to make moral decisions and may explain why he tried to protect his guests in such a bizarre and awful way. Fortunately, the angels prevented him from giving his daughters to the men outside and instead they protected Lot and his daughters by striking those wicked men with blindness.

The Lord was patient with me for sure. I was away from Him for 20 years when he called me back. I now understand the gospel better than I ever did before. I obey Him not to earn righteousness, but because he gave that to me. He gave me the best gift that can be given, why not show that appreciation by serving Him?

@@blainhannam7478 Sure. Legalism, frustration with the church and habitual sin drove me away. What brought me back was my grandfather dying. He was a godly man with a terrific testimony. The Holy Spirit led me to look at my own life and realize the path I was on wasn't right. I had that "still, small voice" tell me He wants everything, my whole life. It took a little bit to actually let go, but once I prayed that prayer, giving everything, I felt a peace I had never felt my whole life.
Now I have been studying the law/gospel distinction and it has helped a lot. Knowing that I can do NOTHING to be justified and that it's entirely a gift received through faith gives me an understanding I never had before. It's freeing. Following the law is expected for many reasons, but not for my salvation.

The best way I understand salvation is by my own testimony. For the longest time I was addicted to drugs and pornography and anything else in the mix with not a care in the world what I was doing and how I was wrecking my life. One night I just broke in tears having anxiety attacks and no where to turn to. I cried out to God to save me and just take it all away. Afterwards of praying to him I started feeling better and over time all the things I was doing was bothering me really bad and I just started letting go of it all. I was getting a hunger more or less a desire to know God as much as possible and still to this day 4 years after that night. Longer story short I do sin here and there but not without conviction. In all reality we bring to the table. Salvation is a free gift and he who began a good work in me will finish it.

@@babyplutojr3869 The difference between us and angels is that God made them externally, and made us internally. Meaning, he made us in His image. So when we are renewed in Heaven, we will be much more like our Father. We will have His complete wisdom, His understanding, His perspective, and we will be incorruptable.
In the resurrection, believers will be made perfect, free from sin, and incapable of falling (1 Corinthians 15:42-44; Revelation 21:27). This perfection is a result of God's grace and sanctification, not merely human effort (Ephesians 2:8-9). Angels, being created holy but not perfected by grace in the same way, were susceptible to falling. For humans, God’s grace through Christ ensures a future state where falling away is impossible. Humans in Heaven will be glorified and fully conformed to Christ (Romans 8:29-30).

Hi brother...it was not Noah but Lot who did that with his daughters. I believed on Jesus as my Lord and Saviour at 38 yrs of age in 2003. I can absolutely testify to the longsuffering and tenderheartedness of God towards me, a sinner saved by His grace. I make less 'mistakes' now than I used to as a new child of God but the mistakes still happen and I thank God that I can confess them to Him immediately and keep that list short. I need to get it through my thick skull that I'm saved. I accepted Jesus to save me and make me anew. I am, by no means, spiffy in terms of being a Christian, i struggle sometimes when I try and build a relationship with my savior, sometimes I view my daily prayer as a task to get out of the way, and that in turn makes me feel fear over if I'm truly going to heaven or not, if I'm truly a Christian when I sin, don't keep Jesus in my heart all the time, and I hold more value in the world then Jesus.
But, I also know, that I'm a dummy, and I will fall down, I will sin, and I will fail, but as long as I get right back up, and just love Jesus like a father, (Not exactly like a father, but you know what I mean) I may not be spiffy as a Christian, but Jesus still saved me, it is through him I am saved. So thank you sir, I needed to hear that.

I’m 54 I’m a mom of 3 grown children. My daughter will be 36 in February and I have 2 sons 32 and 24. My daughter is severely disabled. I went to a party the night of my high school graduation. Yes I drank beer. Three guys took advantage of me and left me on the mountain. When my daughter was born I was 18. I knew nothing about babies. When my daughter was 4 1/2 months old the experts said she was severely disabled and would not live long. I grew up really fast. To make a lot story short. I do everything for her but breathe. God has a funny sense of humor! I’m 5 foot nothing she’s full grown woman size. She is feisty too. She tries to beat me up when I caring for her. I feel like I wrestle and alligator every day. She tries to bite , pull my hair, hit and claw me. The hardest part is she laughs and thinks it’s funny. I can say she’s not boring. I have spent every day of her life trying to keep her from dying. I have prayed for years that we go together in the rapture. She almost 36. God is in control of the number of her days. Her feistiness has kept her alive. She’s a fighter. It’s really cool. I tell her about Jesus coming so get to go to heaven and be with him. I shall walk and talk in here and I will sing and dance together for Jesus. Remember, I said she’s deaf. She gets excited and starts waving bye-bye so fast you think she could fly herself to heaven.. I believe that God has given her and understanding. She’s my earth angel. She’s kept me on the straight and narrow path. She’s the one that has raised me up to be the person that I am. I used to be angry at God because he let her be born that way I thought it was because I send that party by drinking and that’s why those guys did what they did. It took me years to understand my God gave me my daughter, so I have someone to love and someone to love me and so that I would have purpose. I was adopted as a baby. I never knew my mom and my parents. They adopted me and my dad till the day he died told me he never wanted me. I’m always wanted to be loved and accepted by my daughter and my mom sometimes ask in our prayers for something God answers them. It’s just not the way that we expect, God’s ways are not always our ways. I look so forward to Jesus coming and he can take me and my daughter with him and she’ll walk and talk hear and sing dance. There’s a Jewish man who started a company where parents like me come work and be a CNA and we get paid to be a parent CNA to our own children. I have worked for him for 23 years. He’s a blessing in our life. If you can do the basic things in life be grateful. Count your blessings. If you know or see someone struggling DONT JUDGE! Ask if you can help.
Being a parent of a disabled child is so hard and lonely. Being disabled is harder and lonelier. Just be kind to everyone treat everyone the way God would want you to. I have been shunned years ago for my situation. But in one year I have lost everyone but my daughter and my mom who has dementia and is in a nursing home. I’m shunned because I proclaim Jesus is my Lord and Savior. My husband and 2 sons treat me terribly for my faith in Jesus. I can’t even see my granddaughter anymore. This life is hard but eternity is forever. If you have Jesus this life will be the worst you live. If you don’t have Jesus then this life will be the best you live. Heaven and hell are real and for eternity. Choose wisely!! Eternity is too long to be wrong.

It’s the willingness to live like Christ and let God change your heart to live righteousness rather than sin. Repenting of your past lifestyle is what leads you to saving faith. If you don’t think you deserve death for your past sins then you missed the gospel. It’s hard to come to faith in Jesus when you still think you’re a good person. Once we realize we’ve fallen short and we go to God asking for forgiveness and professing faith in what his son Jesus has done on the cross for us, we receive the Holy Spirit and He guides us and nobody or no thing can snatch us out of His hand. 🙏🏼
Repentance is simply a change of mind. It has nothing to do with turning from your past lifestyle. In the context of salvation, it is going from unbelief to belief.

Like you Trent, have been walking with the Lord for 16 plus years and was at one point backsliding.......have been through many ups and downs but now see that the Lord was always watching over me. The difference is, we’re aware of these sins before and especially after. And were remorseful. If you’re remorseful and wanna do better, then that’s the Holy Spirit inside you, working on you. It took a horrible car accident, nearly dying for me to turn away from a sinful life and come back to Jesus, and I’m so thankful I serve a loving and forgiving God.
We’re seeing a rise in the works-salvation deception, which scripture has warned about.
They ultimately think we aren’t saved by God’s grace, but by our own merits, which makes them their own savior.
We must rebuke works based salvation doctrine. This is one way believers can serve God.

The works-salvation message is often misrepresented or just confuses people. A life void of sin itself is not our salvation. A monk on a mountain in Tibet could be living a disciplined life that happens to align with God's holy law, but this will not lead the monk to being saved. Jesus is the door and that is it.
However, Jesus indicates many times, He is the Teacher, and He knows who are His simply by whether we are His students... or not. A student does their best to follow the teacher's instructions.

i just came from a kinda dark place and i prayed to the lord for guidance and i asked him to show me what i needed to see. i told him i would watch the second video i saw on my recommended about the lord and sure enough landed here. i feel as though ive got an okay understanding about the gospel and further more its why i have as much faith as i do in the lord. that being said i still consistently fall short of the glory of god and like a dog returning to its vomit well... i to return to mine. i know part of the point is like you said, fall seven times and raise 8 and well to be honest with regards to my sins ive lost count but i do at least try to raise every time. whether or not i do successfully ill be honest i have no clue. im worried that because i continue to turn from the lord like i do, even most of the time thinking about the lord as im sinning, im going to end up losing gods grace in my life. i feel as im typing this that the lord is angry with me even insinuating that but it is in one way or another my greatest fear. that on judgement day god will say "i never knew you" not to mention especially as of late ive seemingly been in my sin more then in the bible and ofc this is no excuse but life has not been to much help either. times are tough and thankfully it seems things will start to heal again since the new election (not to make this a political thing) but that is a huge sigh of relief for many im sure but even still life is not easy and i guess in a weird way i turn to sin to find comfort instead of the lord? i dont really understand it but regardless im a lost soul and im def in need of prayer. im sure many of you all go through something similar to some degree and i pray that the lord be with you all as well and guide us all!
I know for certain that i have everlasting life and will never perish eternally. Jesus promised that whoever believes in Him has everlasting life and will never perish ! Amen !
I had to leave the church to find god and return again. I walked away from the cross and self-destruction followed me. The moment I turned back around Jesus was waiting for me in that very moment. Every step in my mind I could see he was always there with me. No matter how far I walked away from the cross it was never over the horizon, never outside of vision or reach. If someone asked me about my experience, I have nothing but my own testimony, nothing else. Years of church, prayer, and Sunday mass growing up never brought me to understand. I could never teach the gospel and only found it after I looked everywhere else, but the moment I turned back to Jesus, could he be god? Yes, that is when it happened.

Faith, sealed unto the day of redemption. Justified, sanctified. It is all in one time deal. Faith saved us and faith is how we walk. The law could never justify us, if it could then righteousness came by the law and Christ died in vain. Once saved always saved. Cannot lose it no matter what. If you believed the gospel and then went back to the world, you are still his. No sin will separate you from him once you have believed. He no longer recognizes your sin, he only sees his Son in you. Now sin does have consequences, but there is no sin that will separate you from God.

We need to come to the understanding that the Law is a witness against us, and our inability to keep it therefore requires something more than we can accomplish. The blood of Jesus frees us from that Law of sin and death! It's that simple! We have freedom from the consequences of the Law.
True, but that freedom doesn't permit us to break the law.
@ Essentially it does, otherwise Christ’s sacrifice is pointless. But what we choose to do with that freedom, is something between ourselves and God. We are supposed to use this freedom in order to live a life unburdened by the fear of the Law and to focus on doing what God has called us to do: preach the Gospel. The Law is good in itself, but when man tries to adhere to it he relies on himself, and not God.
Galatians 5:13-14
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
So, after you are "saved", then the one place you can never go is Hell. You have a license to sin without consequence. Kind of like King David after his baby was killed.

If you understand the neglect and narcissistic abuse I’ve been through and trauma not everybody understands narcissistic family scapegoat abuse and how it effects your mentally physically mind body and spirit and betrayal trauma effects all parts of your life and religious trauma too growing up and being shamed blamed and neglect by your family of origin is really hard on your life when you feel like a burden too everyone and the emotional abuse I have complex trauma and childhood trauma too
Jesus knows and He will perfect the work He has started. You will know real love when we go home and are one family.
I’m sorry about that Darren, I hope your healing goes well. Please understand that religious trauma is from the people that abused it, not God. If you believed in Jesus at one point (that he is the Christ, the Son of God who should come into the world and that he gives eternal life) then you have been saved and you cannot lose salvation. After Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed lot and his daughters came to rest. His daughters seeing everything they knew destroyed thought that they were the only ones left in the world, they devised a plan to get him drunk and repopulate the world with his seed. And that's what they did. That's probably one of the most uncomfortable stories from the Bible for me to read.

Not to be a KnowItAll, but the story where the father gets drunk and sleeps with his two daughters is actually Lot, and those children end up building some of the most tyrannical nations in the Bible. Noah does get drunk and naked though, so you got part of it right

@@JesusInTheClouds He offered his daughters to them to protect the strangers he had taken into his home. From what I’ve read, in the near eastern culture, the protection of strangers that you’ve taken in is such a sacred duty that you’ll go to extreme measures to honor that responsibility. Also, in 2 Peter chapter 2 it says that Lot’s “righteous soul” was “vexed” (worn down, exhausted, oppressed) from living among and seeing the wicked conduct of the people day after day. It seems that it messed with his ability to make moral decisions and may explain why he tried to protect his guests in such a bizarre and awful way. Fortunately, the angels prevented him from giving his daughters to the men outside and instead they protected Lot and his daughters by striking those wicked men with blindness.

I've been living a sinful life knowing it's sin and I'm struggling so bad and I just feel I have crossed that line and God has given me over.
God will let us hit rock bottom to turn us around. I wouldn't recommend it, not worth going through.
If you are concerned about your sin, that is a good sign He hasn't turned away from you. It's when you know what you are doing and Don't care, that's when a person has probably went to far.
Just begin living for God, he will add rest of everything that you need for this trip. God bless.
