Personally, I would vote Florida's governor out of office. From what I'm hearing; Florida's governor is paying the police bonuses for their work. Who do you think this money is coming from ? You the taxpayers. Believe me, the governor is not paying them bonuses out of his own pocket. I personally would rather choose a city or state with less police. Defund the police is the answer. Defund the police means; taxpayers pay less taxes. I also hear that in some states; firearms are illegal. That goes against The Constitution of The United States of America. You have The Right to carry firearms if you choose to. I would not move to Florida, not with that governor there.

I was working on Merriman Ave at night doing road work and a 5000 dollar piece of equipment was hit and destroyed by a drunk driver. Called police and was told a officer would call me back. Finally got a call 5 hours later when I was on my way home and was told nothing could be done cause I had left the scene. 😅

when you elect a woman mayor who campaigned on Climate Change and Equity....you get drastic increases in crime and a breakdown in society. The citizens of Ashville deserve the government they voted for
Very easy to write about it...why don't you do something proactive and help the community yourself. Police the neighborhood with your own resources...or better yet...join the police department and show them a more efficient way to police the neighborhoods.
This is a major beautiful step in the RIGHT direction. Defund The Police, I'm in favor 200%. In 00:20 you said, you just have the man power to respond to all the calls coming in. But in reality, many of those calls are just a waste of tax paying dollars anyway. Police have been dispatched to silly calls for the longest. Come, my cat is stuck up in the tree. That is a non-emergency call. Thank God, police can no longer respond to many calls coming in. Get your head screwed on right and you don't have to make un-necessary calls to the police. You would have more police available for real emergencies. Yes, I'm highly in favor 200%: DEFUND THE POLICE. Cut the police force down by 3/4 across America. You really only need 1/4 of everything. Police should not even be making traffic stops. You don't go to jail for driving a car with expired tags, or broken brake lights, or accidently running through a stop sign.
