- GTS vs GTV videos coming!
Review and thoughts on the first 15 miles of my GTV Kit from Floatwheel installed on the Onewheel GT.
For full installation video see our other video here • GTV Drop-in Kit Instal...
Hopefully this helps someone out!!
Updated the kit with a 8db antenna and it's much much better. I used an MHF1 but i am hearing some kits have MHF4 connector. So pull your controller lid if you are unsure.
This is best GT upgrade on the market.
It's pretty amazing and so easy for a vesc newb like me. We have some vesc veterans in our group but I never wanted to venture into it until this came out.
Great review bro!!! Informative
Thanks so much man, super helpful. My kit is coming in this week!
It's an easy install just take it slow and follow follow videos. Enjoy!
Let’s gooooo!!!!! PWR for life baby!!!
This is a really good and informative video!! thank you DJ.
thanks a lot for the review! if you are not getting good BT connection, it might be that the atenna is sticked to the wrong place, the atenna should be sticked to the top lid lightbar transparent bit for best signal
Will have to try that placement. Thanks Tony!
🎉 yes Please do videos talkin about the apps. just got my kit in 2 days ago. its UP 🤙🏾
We are all actually going to Shredfest to ride tomorrow for 5 days! I will see if I can put something together real quick otherwise going to be a week or so
@@PrestigeWheelRide🙌🏾 & please recommend a float package when you can cuz for me, Tony's setting seems sluggish 😮💨
@@jaefrmbk2k I hear nico growler tune is supposed to be good. But haven't tried yet it
@@PrestigeWheelRidecopy, thx tho⚡️⚡️
Represent! Can’t wait to get one.
I’m concerned about the footpad sensitivity you mentioned? Is there options to adjust this within the VESC app? Like a foot deactivation delay and also to make it single zone etc?
Yeah there are settings for it all but haven't dove into it yet. There is one for single zone too
@@PrestigeWheelRide awesome, Tony confirmed my payment on 5th June, how long did it take for your kit to show up after payment confirmation?
Thanks
@@dogbog99 for me it was different did pre order but from shipped email to my door was only 4 days
I looked at the vesc tool. When the float config loads. You go there under startup, and they call it enable simple start for single zone.
What kind of speeds does this give you, and is there push back that you can program?
Yes there is tilt back you can program. Not sure on max speed. I easily hit 20 all the time but that's what I ride at for GTS too
Does it feel much more powerful? Do you ride trails? Does it feel like it gets you over features better than stock?
That video comparison is coming
Hey man - what is the setting for the late footpad disengagement
Go to float config in vesc tool and look for footpad. You can enable simple start. I think that is what you mean. Click the info button on it for a description
I went with the AvaSpark kit a LilFOCer and a 50S M34T 20S2P battery with ZBMS and a SuperFlux MKI motor. 26-30 mile range with a top speed of around 35mph. Weighs a lot though.
Yeah that's a beast! Haven't decided the next step, 5inch hub, 6inch hub, or different motor.
@@PrestigeWheelRide I’m waiting on my 5” billet hub for my GTS with N52 magnets. My VEXR runs the SuperFlux motor as well with a P28A 20S2P battery and Ennoid Xlite V3 BMS, LilFOCer and BTG. Plan to build a VESC Pint from scratch as I have a HyperCore motor the controller and battery box but nothing else lol. I wish the drop-in kit would have hit the market earlier. Waiting for the PintV drop-in kit to drop
@mlastudioproductions yeah those hubs are never in stock. But supposed to add a lot of torque to the GTV
Sounds like a waste, thanks for the info
bucking anti-repair proprietary bullshit is never a waste
