As an Asian, our first and foremost concern would be whether the cups are glass or not.
I'm asian and have never hear about that. This therapy seems harmful to skin.
Agree, as an Indian 😁
Yes that equipment is expensive, I wouldn't want to risk any damage to the cups.

To everyone who wants to know what cupping is and how it works:
When a muscle is sore, tense, or just plain overworked, it has a hard time pushing old blood out so it sort of stagnates in the muscle. And the fascia in the body has a habit of wanting to stick to itself causing more pain to build by not allowing your muscle to move properly. When you apply a cup to the affected area, the cup creates suction and pulls that old blood out and allows fresh blood to come into the muscle and start repairing itself. And with fascia, it helps break up all the sticking together.
These cups are used when you use a suction pump. Thats why they are hard plastic and have those nubs on the top. There's also fire cupping, which uses a glass cup and heat to create the suction. Both of these aren't really meant to be moved around, just placed in the affected area. Silicone cups however, are a lot more flexible. With silicone cups, you can leave them placed like in this video, or move them around as they're suctioned to your body. Using silicone cups is my preferred way to cup clients as some of them don't want the marks that are left, but still need that deep muscle treatment. Cupping is fantastic, but can hurt you if you leave them for too long, or have them too tight.
I always recommend giving cupping a try if you know a massage therapist or physical therapist who knows how to do it properly. It can make you feel so much lighter and take away that deep ache that can settle into overworked muscles.
Thank you. I was actually wondering about the science behind it
If blood is stagnating in area of the body, muscle pain is the least of your worries.
Actually fire cupping can do exactly the moving around part, the body area just need to be oiled up.
To my knowledge, sore muscles are very tiny damaged muscle fibers which need time regenerate. Blocked bloodflow would lead to the muscle tissues death
@@stropex2165 you're right that it's damaged tissue fibers, but I'm not saying there's blocked blood flow. I'm saying it sort of stagnates in a way. As in, the oxygen rich blood has a very hard time actually getting down into the a capillary beds. So the muscle starts to become oxygen-starved. I'm not saying your blood is clotting in the actual muscle, just that the nutrients can't reach as well or as far into the muscle to start repairing those damaged fibers
Me realizing it’s cup therapy: ooo
My tryphobia: HAHAHA…
Sunnah Of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has been came true of achieving good health plus purification of blood & prevention from 72 diseases MashaAllah everyone should go with this therapy it won't gonna harm but benefit you for sure

Do a video on dry needling. It has changed my life. I had headaches daily some, that last a week or two! This had been going on for over 10 years, since the end of Aug, I've only had about 5 light headaches.
@@conniecripps9669 yes. My doctor was the one that suggested dry needling. The headaches are always triggered by a muscle in my left trap/shoulder blade. So she suggested physical therapy and dry needling that area. I didn't know about dry needling until she had suggested it. That's why I wanted to get the word out for others that have tried everything and medication was only masking the pain.
@@conniecripps9669 thanks for your concern. You too

@@lunasea4309 ankle*
Maybe it’s wrong wording, but the point of cupping is to stimulate and enhance blood flow. You only break the blood vessels right below the skin. When it heals, your body generally tends to feel more energised. I wouldn’t recommend using heat to do the cupping if not experienced, but rather use manual air pumps.

That's enough Internet for tonight 😭
The experiment was a success, the subject rises from his passive state as every cell in his body comes to life, but somethings...wrong. He effortlessly flexes off 5 of his tubes and looks around, the creators begin to panic as they find a way to stop him, the subject poses and his body grows larger, tubes fly off as he stretches his neck and shoulders, the containment chamber shatters in an instant, stabbing and killing several observers. The Subject looks up and smiles, "Soooo Good."

In Islam, there's a form of treatment called Hajjama. Basically, after cupping method a trained person puts minor cuts on the red area. The cuts are light and quick so that no pain is felt. This causes bleeding through the cuts and it's said that that blood is basically useless/waste of blood.

kind of disrespectful for him to just drop all of those cupping devices on the floor like that
The therapist obviously approved it, seeing as it was most likely the therapist filming. The cups used in this video were also plastic, and use negative pressure by a pump, as opposed to cupping done with glass cups and heating the cups before placing them on the skin to create a vacuum. The cups are sanitised between uses anyway, so them touching the floor isn't dangerous for the next client.

This hasn’t just been around in Egypt ! This prophetic remedy has been around since the time of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. He even recommended this type of remedy for the one who is pain! Alhamdulilah for Islam
Exactly !
صلى الله عليه وسلم .
One of the best art of healing which was non-stop recommended by our prophet Mohammed , the best man to have ever walked on earth .
No disrespect brothers. But this was around before Mohammed...1550 B.C...used by Egyptian and Chinese..and what they label as Middle East.
@@315majestic no one said it was before that , we just said it is a very effective cure which got so much attention in our Deen to the point it's even recommended .
As a Muslim, I think it is wrong for you to link this issue to our prophet. Of course he was using this treatment because it worked well. The lesson to be drawn from this is to trust treatments and the discoveries of science. Also, if we count that our prophet was born after Christ, you are making an illogical comment. Please, we muslims are smart people, we should not fall into a ridiculous situation by putting our religion everywhere.

I prefer fire cupping! Yes, it leaves the marks of circles on my back which I was proud to show because in about two weeks they all disappeared and I felt better! I do this for myself with my own cupping kit and this helps the pain in my body along with eating more whole food like a variety of produce in smoothies, roasting vegetables and/or salads! So good!! Delicious and nutritious! I hope this helps someone! 🙏❤️🙏
Honestly, that does seem to feel good and refreshing. I love having a little pain to feel no pain after.
I use cupping therapy all the time. My dad has been doing it since forever as well. Theirs many methods but the method my family use is a glass round dome. We use a cotton ball and light it on fire. We swirls it in the glass cup to suck out all the oxygen and then we stick the cup on the place we feel pain. It seriously helps. Sometimes almost instantly for me.
Oooo
My family has always used fire like this too. However recently we got a set like in the video , so no fire needed. Either way works :)
This can be turned into both satisfying and calming
La gente tripofóbica no piensa así. 😐
