The reason zed rocks a 49% winrate, and the reason people miss his combo, is because everyone in the game knows zed is ONLY lethal if he hits the full combo and is completely useless without it. So they walk away/flash/ghost/dash/etc. They force fights against zed knowing he can't win and sustain once he fails. Zeds only good when he doesn't need his R to win lane. He needs a rework. Ravenous hydra isn't good enough to help him.

In aram you can snowball, place W, take the snowball, insta W out leaving a shadow on top of them and E Q them in the face for free.
@@tipilot3791 take it one step further, hover over them with cam unlocked. snowball>w>snowball>r> start spamming w e q at the same time. just dont move your mouse off them after you land snowball and its his fastest aram combo

while waiting for them to flash, you SHOULD press recall especially if you have the championship skin and level 7 badge then after the level 7 badge noise you are good to go to do the weq combo

Right before your ult mark pops
Bind your mastery to R. That way, when you ult you will always pop the badge right before one-shotting... Or missing everything.

As as a zed with mastery 7 badge, you should already know 😂 But there is always time for improvement
Zed has a lot of combos to use, but what makes the difference between a good and bad zed players is knowing where to place ur shadows and not forgetting where your shadows at. Also hitting your q's would help a lot.
My advice is not to look for zed combos, just play a few games with him and try to create scenarios in ur head before engaging so it becomes more natural getting creative with your shadows placements later on
zed main here. with enough ability haste you can W/E/Q/W(switch places)Auto/ R/E/Auto(might not wanna do this if you get focused)/W/W(out of danger)Q(for triple q's)(also best believe u just did a bunch of aoe aswell) R(to return) E( for last bit of damage). Note: presence of mind is key here(or blue buff). This is your teamfight combo. ZED is not much of an assasin anymore hes more like a bruiser. also Laceration (zed 1 trick that is in challanger) explains the combo aswell. Im diamond 2. U can alter this combo anyway for more slippery or more dmg but this is usually a good chunk of both.
after your last E your W is prob up so go in more or go out depends of cc and situation

He has soooo much AoE and combined with the current Hydra he is a menace 😭 A good Zed against a bot lane who has absolutely ZERO idea on how to play an assassin is just Shredder

Just think when dodging or trying to survive your r is like a w, just time it right before it falls on you or you get ccd because it fkin sucks. So this is where flash is necessary even if you wouldn’t die, to dodge cc. Same can be said using it in the beginning of your fight so w, r, and flash are all the same. So use them in between each other don’t spam.
That’s why prowlers had to be nerfed because it’s like having a flash on a shorter cd. Doesn’t mean much for other champs really but zed and alkali, nuts.
I think most people that take the time to learn even one Zed combo knows to do this
How to become a pro zed player
1: get Galaxy slayer
2:learn👍
Another insane combo that has become my bread and butter in huge teamfights:
1. W>E on their frontline
Wait until W swap cd is about halfway and at least one enemy is close to ur shadow.
2. W swap>E (make sure u hit at least one person with ur E. With max W and at least 3 items with AH, this should drastically reduce W cd)
3. Without any delay, instantly R the closest squishy. It doesn’t have to be their ADC but preferably close enough range for your W.
4. Immediately press E again hitting as much enemies as possible. Your W cd should be refreshed by now.
5. 0.3-0.5 secs later immediately W>W swap towards their ADC.
6. E>auto their ADC before swapping back to your R shadow.
7. You and your shadows should now be in a position surrounding their entire team.
8. Q shuriken their whole team. With your Q mostly pointed towards the one you R’d. If you feel like he can tank your Qs and survive then point your shurikens towards the ADC.
9. Spam your Es while retreating to ur team. Your shadow Es will greatly do a lot of dmg while slowing them for ur team to catch up.
This WAS so abusable with Hydra. As caster conqueror Zed, this was my signature move in winning most teamfights.
Even without Hydra, it is still pretty strong and it lets you discover other unique combos you can use with your shadows and master applying them into multiple scenarios.
Side note: Zed in PBE is incredibly strong 💪. The Hydra passive that works with abilities is gone. It’s been reverted to how it was before with an active splash.
They have the Lethality version of it and I also plan on building it every game because how the active synergies well with Zed’s R.
The loss of Hydra’s passive, Duskblade, and Prowlers might seem like a downgrade for Zed. But the new Lethality along with Seryldra’s Grudge is just so amazing on Zed.
Zed can finally one shot again even against a 300 armor tank. So assassin Zed is back if they release the current PBE to live changes.
Especially with Lethality or Flat armor penetration.

This is literally what every zed does even when playing first time
There’s no real one combo that’ll work every matchup, you gotta make one up dependent on your matchup
Another combo is also r-r-w-e-q if you really don’t want to get close to them but they have no escape spell/moves. R-r makes you ult them but immediately leave the spot, w to add your extra shadow on top of them, e to slow, q to damage and if you think you can take them out w again and auto them. Like he said you want to change your combo depending on the situation
R-R does not make you leave immediately
You have a 0,5sec window where you cant R instantly
Which is why you cast W before R in certain situations as W shadow can be accessed instantly
There is no R-R 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Zed must use passive A
Already know it, but thanks. Hoping others zed players learn it and mastered.
Actually, zed has an animation cancel with Q+E and zed also has an animation cancel with E+Auto so by knowing this you can make a faster version of this combo by R+W+Q+E+W2+AUTO+R2, its faster but riskier since you don't apply the E slow before landing Q which may result in missing all the shruikens. Well you don't need to do a combo anyways since you can just apply slow by Voltaic then do W+Q+E which is guarantee hit if enemy doesn't use a dash.
Should q before e after pressing r for a faster combo
As a zed main, I can confirm this is the one combo I never run, unless they're one shottable. I like wweq AA *multiple autos* ult eq AA weqw.

I like how they show the 2nd clip as if it was a good play, but it was actually bad because he could be dead if Ahri cast his charm behind her. That play was just how you don't want to play zed by taking those kinds of risks

There are lots of combos for Zed and not ONE is better than another but situational. Most cases in lane you poke enemy down with W E Q combo for burst while having Electrocute. Even if you R and they flash you are still trading an ult for a summoner spell which is worth. Most people while facing a Zed will flash right away when he uses R to position closer to tower so they can use their escape ability or protection. Also enemy players will have barrier or exhaust vs Zed. Also you are showing what enemy does if they just stand there. Plus you dont want to use everything on enemy when they are at full hp without knowing what they have or know where enemy laners are. Another video of you curving the narrative instead of giving all the information.
It amazes me that an assasin has xerath range level of poke, while not using mana at the same time

@@zedus4042 it depends. If you are first timing those champs, heck, even having less than 30 k mastery points combined between all the energy champs, yeah energy is horrible.
But if you know how to play around it, its better, kennen has free poke/ extra range to farm with q's.
Akali has an insanely spammable high damage ability, and a passive that restores energy( i think, if not she still can play around her shroud, and her dashes dont cost as much energy)
Shen, im actually not sure what he has, i think he restores energy with his q maybe, and he has an enlarged energy pool.
Zed has xerath( or even longer) poke range and restores energy with double hitting his abilities, plus a lot of blinks that leave a lot of opportunity for outplays( im ok with that part, but hate how insanely large his poke range is, especially since one full combo deletes 50% hp)
Lee is design around not getting out of energy, his passive could restore all the energy costs if weaved properly, not to mention how he is a bruiser with lots of dashes and his "insec" play( he needs very skilled hands to play "awesomely", which is what my lee teammates never have and the enemy always have xd)

Most the most basic combo is:
w->e->q for poke
w->AA if positioning is good/kill range
r->AA->e->q->r to dodge skills/need extra dmg to kill
If you do the thing, and you do it right, and you don’t fuck it up, it works

The real combo is alt F4, because you're against grasp of the undying Malphite, and his jungler, Diana, who rushed a Jack sho into Sunfirecape
WEQ until they are low HP then they Base and you make them lose minions in the laning.

only works for first strike, elec, and MAYBE comet zed. conq is a much different playstyle. zed doesn’t have one combo to rely on, and he has multiple playstyles. his playstyle depends on his runes and mythic.

@@almond731 the moment Hydra got AoE on abilities beside basic attacks, it became very powerful item on Zed few years ago, it's just that only knowledgeable good Zed players knew about that and were building it then, it only got widely popular in this season because of Hydra changes but the fact is that it then got nerfed few times to a point where Hydra now has almost identical power to what it was before preseason 13 but average players still build it just because the item was hyped up.
As for higher win rate the higher rank, it only proves that Zed is definitely not an easy champ and that only the great players that understand his mechanics deeply can get a lot out of him in order to get to high rank and high win rate.

Also, I think you're argument is kinda weird. Everyone in higher elo require knowledge about macro and mechanics. I believe Dia+ is like the top 1 or 2% of the fanbase so im not referring to them

There are no champs in League. Every "difficult" champ has cheat codes to hit every important spell. With ZED R you essentialy can turn 3 skillshots into ine point and click spell.
With Irelia as another example your E is point and click if you Q your enemy while casting second E.

So many errors in this short ! First you R the first target dummy and did damage the other one OMEGALUL, then your combo is not good at all ! You should R -> auto -> move -> W -> E -> W -> auto -> Q -> auto -> E -> R

Master basic combos first before doing those hard ones. Me personally would play at least 50 games of a certain champ mastering all it's mechanics and combos before going rank with it and.
50 games? Pffttt lmao, if you wanna start playing Zed and play him in rank, I wouldn't recommend going to rank before at least 100k mastery or minimum of approximately 200 games.
