The Ronan and the White River are amazing. I used the Ronan to dispatch a maimed animal in the road just the other day - shape really lends itself to piercing. Gonna try carrying the White River in the pocket on an Ulticlip - we'll see how it goes, but I think it's gonna do just fine.
I keep thinking I'm going to cancel because of financial reasons. But then we get a banger month like this one and I think to myself "I'm sure there are some quarters left in the couch that I haven't found". Awesome month! Only a standard member but love the bestechman and I might find a use for the Kershaw but it definitely needs a sharpening
White river knives are great and you'll like that m1, my favorite knife is the white river knives ursus 45 and if you ever have the chance to try one you definitely should. This box was actually a good one with nothing really to complain about, them making that situation right is really great of them.
Hey Doc.. This month was my first Goin Gear EDC club box. Definitely springing for the premium from now on! The Ronin instantly became my new favorite folder. Wish I woulda got the green one..my scales are black. The Keyshaw is very hard to get a decent edge on. I’m no knife sharpening expert but I can usually do a good job…not on that thing. I recently bought a Higonokami after watching your video on them. I use it constantly and it’s the easiest knife I’ve ever owned to maintain a razor blade quality edge. Thank you for the recommendation. Keep up the good work bro!!
I would edc the hell out that white river knife!! Like that's the knife I've been lusting after for a while. Just haven't been able to afford it, lmao 😂
Awesome of them to replace the med kit and throw a few in for GAW's. Shows what a company with good customer service should be like. The glow sticks are handy for gear, if like you said can hold a charge for a good while. The Kershaw is kinda long for a neck knife and no option for attaching to a belt (teklok or Ulticlip). The Bestech looks solid and I really like crossbar locks. 14C28N is my favorite inexpensive steel, has the toughness between CPM3V and CPM4V which allows you to get a thin edge that resists chipping and rolling, Stainless, holds a decent edge, easy to maintain and sharpen along with it being very easy for companies to Heat Treat. An amazing steel for the cost overall. The pen and light looks useful (like you said similar to the Open) and I think the word your looking for is Tacticool vs Tactical lol. The White River knife looks well built and a great size for Both an EDC fixed blade or outdoors knife. Looks like it would fit a standard Teklok (belt or pack) or Ulticlip for pocket carry. Personally for an EDC knife I prefer one I can get a full grip on like my Artisan Sea Snake or Papa Bear Knives Pocket Lucky. While some prefer a smaller knife that is a 2 to 3 finger handle with a short blade (sub 3" or even sub 2"blade) and sometimes with a colorful or plain lanyard to make it easier to get out of its sheath and get a bit extra grip on it. Overal a great box with very useful items geared towards EDC or outdoors. Thanks for the great vid Doc and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
I think the M1 is the one that Jessica "Dixie" Mills from Homemade Wanderlust here on UA-cam carries on her thru-hikes of the AT, CDT, PCT, and all the other long hiking trails
I’ve been thinking about doing one of these boxes, I know some say well just choose what you want for the money but it’s kinda fun not knowing, the high tier box is worth it usually. Plus a lot of it are things I wouldn’t normally buy or think of. I’ve been wanting that backpacker too.
Hey Doc I've been a fan of your channel for awhile. This review is going to make me sub to Going Gear, it has lots of useful stuff. I may need a second job to support my Going Gear Habit. LOL
Bestechman is a sub-brand of Bestech Knives😁Bestech was still eager to bring our quality knives into EVERYBODY’s hands, so the BESTECHMAN line was developed in and effort to do so.

White River stuff is great! Made in Michigan!
That white river knife and the fire craft 3.5 is straight money!
that Dune would be a great giveaway item, especially for those with snaller paws
That orange knife immediately put a smile on my face.
Probably the best box that I've seen from them. I have the White River knife and love it. Good stuff.

Hi Doc. .great box and products all round

The action on flip knife wow!

Nice Dune review, haven't seen the 80's film or read the book. Didn't mind Chris Chalamet role in recent film. Thanks for sharing.

This was a great box!
I recommend Terro liquid ant bait. You’ll get rid of a whole colony in about 2 days if you put it near a travel path.
Thanks!
The sound in the backround is the menu of fall out 76😂
Good catch!!!!!!!!

The way you cut packages open gives me serious anxiety.
