Loved that you mentioned the local vendors at the other beach. Folks need to remember that when you do shore excursions, that money if not getting to the local food vendors and souvenir vendors that have suffered greatly due to the pandemic. Kudos to you for mentioning the locals who depend on cruise ship passengers too.
Thank you both so very much for sharing your valuable tips and tour. Found your channel very helpful with your Amtrak content but you add serious credibility to this Bimini Resort’s World tour. Absolute best tour of this place. Keenly interested as we are planning a Celebrity Reflection Cruise that stops here. You guys rock! From Boston with ❤️
After Carnival cancelled our cruise on the Horizon for the 31st of Dec. They re-booked us on the Carnival Sunshine and changed our ports. Bimini is our last stop now. Thank you for the info. My question is did you notice or see any lockers to put your things in while you were in the water at any location?
Allie, I have to tell you… You and Rob have inspired us again! We just booked a 5-day cruise on Carnival that includes a Bimini stopover. Those shots of yours and Rob’s of the absolutely gorgeous water on the beach was enough to get me motivated to take another cruise - after I swore after our last one (two years ago) that I would never again take one. BTW: Our cruise is out of the Port of Miami, and getting there on Amtrak(!) from DC. Life is weird! 😂
That's amazing! You'll love Bimini! We did a similar thing on the Silver Meteor, but went to Orlando. We ended up going to Miami last week and doing another really short cruise. On the Silver Star headed back to Orlando today. Would love to hear about your cruise when you take it!
@3:02 you'll see me on the back of the tram with my 360 camera in the air! Y'all must have been on the cruise with us! I haven't posted my day on Bimini yet, just a short tram ride. Which I'm filming at the time y'all pass me. I'm working on posting the daily vlogs from our trip. But I am currently editing our day in Nassau. Bimini is next. Y'all in Florida? We should link up! Great info!
I have a cruise Monday coming up stopping here! Riding solo and this is my first cruise!! You say you can rent a jet ski! Is that an excursion on the carnival website? Or is that something we can do at the free public beach
Great video... thanks for sharing. Maybe I missed it but where did you buy your day pass for Resorts World? I didn't see it on Carnival's Shore Excursions site.
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing your experience- so helpful! We are going there in April and are so excited! Does a tram come to pick you up once you’re done at Paradise Beach? Or do you have to walk back to the port?
I'm not sure if I want to go to the free beach or to Resorts World. Can you pay at the resort for access to their facilities? Thanks for the great video!
Thanks, in theory, you should not be able to, but we've heard a few people do it. The situation is a little fluid and it seems like they are trying to figure things out. I wouldn't count on it if you needed it though, better to just book. It could also depend on how full they are, if they've "sold out" or not. On our day they were not busy at all but the 360 Beach excursion from the ship was sold out.
Thank you for this very informative video, as always!! Missed it earlier, but stumbled upon it looking for Bimini Beach Club videos re Virgin cruises. I'm a tad confused and wondered if you had heard anyone discussing this also being Virgin's private stop while you were there doing your Carnival excursion through Resorts World/Hilton? I started researching today because I saw a video with a Virgin rep talking about how they partnered with RW in creating their 'private island' stop, but then he was vague in answering if it will be private for only Virgin guests once they start sailing and stopping in that port. After watching your video and reading comments below, it appears not only do Resorts World guests use it currently, but other cruise line guests doing a RW excursion will be as well ... PLUS other public beach goers who cross over and use the facilities without a band on. Virgin's whole Beach Club at Bimini concept (staying late at night with beach bonfires and how pretty it was) was really drawing me in to book a Virgin cruise, but now I'm not so sure.
When Virgin Voyages ships are in port, only Virgin Voyages guests can use the beach club. When a VV ship isn't there, it's open to other people but without the special VV touches like no pool floats, no DJ, no bonfires, etc
So we just went to Bimini Friday on Carnival Magic. We got the Resorts World excursion without lunch. They were insistent we paid for lunch. There were also people who chose to take the tram for free to the free public beach and then enjoyed all the amenities of the resort. It was all very confusing. We all ended up with the same excursion whether we paid for it or not. The only difference was if you did not pay for any excursion you did have to buy lunch, otherwise all enjoyed all amenities, paid or not. Did you all experience any of this or notice this? Very curious! It needs to be straightened out with future cruises between carnival and the resorts.
Very odd, we didn't have that on ours. We didn't buy lunch, and really not many did. I wouldn't figure the unpaid guests would be able to use the resort long, or why would anyone pay? On ours the paid guests had wristbands and the unpaid did not, which determined if you could use the resort.
It was the same on our ship. People who bought excursions were wrist banded. There was security there but seemed nothing was enforced. By no means was anyone rude, or showing disorderly contact. It was a very pleasant day. But it was clear no rules about who was allowed on or off the resort were enforced. My guess it was all people from our ship anyhow. But it was abundantly clear carnival and the resorts were not lined up well. Anyways, thanks for answering! And thanks for making this vlog. I think you all are one of the only vloggers who have made a Bimini video thus far!
We’re you on the Aug. 16th Magic Sailing? If so we only sailed at 47% capacity. I had heard a lot of people talking about that they were disappointed to find out a lot of people used the same beaches and amenities that people who paid for excursions did. Maybe since it was so few people, they were just hoping people would spend money there. I had personally rented a golf cart and explored around and had no problem accessing beaches and the resort
Hi guys!! Fairly new subscriber here. Loving all your content. Question: I was under the impression that cruise passengers had free access to the hotel's pools..is that not the case? Do you need to book an excursion in order to use their facilities? Also, is the beach free to use if you just want to do that? Thankyou so much. Loving your channel ❤.. Thanks for all the great content. Enjoy that cruise life..hubby and I are scheduled to be on the carnival sunrise at the end of September!..can't wait!!
@Grounded life cruises Thankyou so much for the info. Another video I saw a few weeks ago made it sound like the pools were free. Appreciate the clarification. Enjoy your cruise. 🙏
You said you booked through the ship for the beach club. Was this available before sailing or after you get on board? Also, do you use cash or a ships card to pay for food and drinks? Thanks
What cruise ship did you take there? (Oh, I see it's a Carnival ship, didn't know any cruise ships went to Bimini) And what ports did you also visit? Didn't From what port in FL? Great info!
Thanks so much for sharing. Since this is new for Carnival I've been looking for info. My question is Since you said you take the Tram for free and get off at Paradise Beach does Paradise Beach have chairs and restroom facilities for free or can you pay for that there? I know you said they have FooD trucks but do they have any bars you can purchase beer/drinks? Again thank you so much!! ** new subscriber here!!!
We didn't see any facilities. It is just a public beach, if you wanted all the facilities the Resorts World next door to it would be the place. Its kinda hard to distinguish the two since they are basically connected, but those that paid for it get a wristband and can use everything and those that don't are supposed to not enter. But, we wandered into the free beach and didn't even realize it.
Other reviews of this beach say it is always over run with jelly fish. The carnival site reviews favor that issue. Did you have any issues or do you know when they may be more likely to be there?
When you purchased your excursion through carnival was it actually a per person price or was it a certain amount for 2 people? I'm seeing it for our sailing in October but its set up for $64.99 for two people (we have 3 people so assuming we have to pay for 4) but no mention of being able to use the pool.
On ours we saw both in the app, per person and for two, but they were different slightly. We didn't book it ahead on the website, we booked it on the ship the night before. Then also cabanas were for multiple people.
@@GroundedLifeCruises thank you. I have a feeling then they may have changed something in their agreement with the resort. I'll check again closer to sailing. I appreciate your quick response and loved your video!
Hey! At the pool it was just first come, they were never all taken. We didn't use the beach ones but there weren't enough people to fill them anyway so it wouldn't have been a problem.
No need to book anything. There is a continuous running tram from the ship to the 3 beaches. 1st is 360 Beach it's free and 3rd is Paradise Beach which is also free but has no restrooms. The 2nd beach is Resorts World and I believe that is $39. That has a pool, food, bar and restrooms.
Thank you for the information. I didn’t add the lunch option. Saved a few dollars. The beach was awesome.
Thank you for this! I'm headed there in September via Carnival Cruise.

That is the most beautiful water I have seen 😍
It really is a great port and beach!
Bimini wins the award for worlds longest pier for sure. The tram is a must haha
Very helpful advice. We just booked our first cruise and Bimini is the first stop. Totally new to this, so had no idea what an excursion even was.
That is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the info. We are headed there in a few weeks.
Beautiful video! Thanks for sharing! I hit the red button to join your channel! :)
THANK YOU! I was wondering what to do for my November cruise!
I’m going there in in 2 weeks so this will help me to know what to expect
Thanks for the video. We are going to Bimini on our next cruise. It is breathtaking!!
Enjoy your cruise! It was great

One of the best, similar to half moon cay!

Not many people. How full was your cruise ship? Thanks for all your travel tips.
It seemed about half full and only 1 ship at the port
Hi…going in less than two weeks. Hardly any excursions listed on Carnival. Is there a free beach to snorkle off of?
Is the excursion for resort through carnival???
Cause I can’t find it!!
