I'm very conflicted about this because it's not a song I ever liked. I didn't listen to it until now for that reason BUT OH MY GOSH!!! Your version is SO AMAZING!!! I absolutely love this. FAR better than the original. I'm glad I stayed open minded. Very well done.
Give me a minute to get my breath back-that was one of your very best in a long line of excellent videos. Let's count the ways it's good: Saskia's elegant voice (with a little more commitment because you're not glocking), Saskia's red hair, Michael's smoooooth playing and supporting vocal (at the just the right volume), plus a subliminal bass track and a little finger snapping. Did I get them all? Let me watch it again...
Thanks Ginny. We were so tired and it took quite a lot of energy to get this done in this state. Eventually I think us being wrecks on the evening of recording, gave the song a little extra.
Thanks Fred. The original has an eighties production sound and a rap-like part in the middle. We decided to get rid of both… The song itself is beautiful enough. Thanks for the kind words!
