@solsolsolomon Duolingo will be the death of you. It slowed me down so much! It only teaches you words. When I used it, during the actual lessons were not that good. Yeah, you will use some but most of it doesn't help. Reading and writing will really help you on your journey! I never used any textbooks or anything like that. One app that I did find useful is called Hirakana. It will help you a bunch. It will help you memorize the hiragana katakana and some kanji!

Is it just me who feels like the more you listen the more you understand idk why but for some reason i feel like im starting understand whats being said even though i can't even understand a word thats being said if that makes any sense and it's just beautiful music who else agrees edit: i honestly listen to this while sleeping and i guess i fall asleep too early because some of this i haven't heard and thats saying something because i have listened to this numerous times
that makes aense since when people are teaching a new language to someone they recommend listening so you can really understand the pronounciation. so youve basically got the first step down for learning this as a new language:)

I feel the same. I find myself at work humming this. It keeps me going when I'm so tired that I don't know how I'm gonna make it through the week. I was born in Japan. My Dad was stationed in Japan. US Air Force. I was created in Tachikawa Tokyo Japan, Honshu Island. I heard this and I was blown away. X Japan is my go to when I don't even want to get up to go to work. I live alone, and get guite lonely at times. I need discipline with my attitude. I watch Yoshiki, Toshi, Heath, Pata, Hideto, and Sugizo. I know they're not together anymore. But I go back to when they were. They make me happy, and give me hope. They Were X!!!!
