Another bloody morning. It was around 6am when all of it started. Or let's say, when the first witness passed by to spot the horrifying scenery, and when a phone in the police station rang. In the main street of the city, in front of the shopping mall were lying countless dead bodies. A further terrifying display for the citizens to witness. If it'd be two or three stiff bodies, no one would've thought of it as a surprising event. Everyone would find it rather...perpetual. Because in this city, a serial killer lived. A murderer whom everyone has tried to catch for years but has failed. Someone who always caused trouble and left no traces behind, but vain, bloody scenes and... notes? Ripped pieces of paper which appeared out of nowhere, where simple words were written with blood. A small, nonsenseless detail. This villain must probably be someone who has lost their mind. The police had been observing the case for hours by now. Many detectives had gathered and were discussing about the situation, saying that they should find the serial murderer as soon as possible. They had to, but they couldn't. There was no trace as always, something as pathetic as unsurprising. The best detective of them all finally came on the scene, his breath hitching for what he had to see with his own two eyes. He had just travelled for hours to arrive, after getting a call that people needed him, they had no other choice but to call him. Only to look at... a real massacre. Because this detective had solved so many difficult cases with ease over the past few years, they called him "a hero". Someone nice, intelligent and kind-hearted; the definition of a pure angel, a gift from above. Everyone loved him, everyone cherished him. The moment he arrived, he quickly dove in gathering information and work. There was no time to loose, he was angry, heartbroken, and more desperate than ever to catch the villain. The hero learnt everything he needed to know and walked around the area, observing the victims carefully. He was tired of all of it too, his head was hurting. He sat down on a bench nearby and started thinking for a moment, his eyes wandering over the victims. - I wonder what went through their head in their final moments..., he said, his voice low and cracked, his eyes swelling in tears, even though this wasn't the right time to get emotional. Something felt lazily from above. Something white and small laid mere centimeters away him. It was paper. Confused, he picked it up and looked at it. It looked like a folded note. The hero quickly opened it and read the words written in it. "Probably bullets. You're too soft to catch me, champ ;)" it read.

Since the hero is the villain's weakness, the villain decides to hurt or kill the hero so they don't have a weakness anymore.
