I have respect for this man, he doesn't say that education and careers are wrong but that men must elevate women in what they do for their families. This man I'd listen to about women. I'd rather listen to a Muslim woman about woman's issues, but there doesn't seem to be many out there.
Muslims Love For All Hate For None (Fight back with Love) that is good for you. A choice you made. As any good Muslim woman, u r free to choose. There are numerous evidences of working or not working. Mashallah on u sister, all the best to you and your family.
I am woman n I have done M.tech but now I don't want to do a job n bcoz of this I m getting a lot of difficulty in getting a spouse as all men nowadays want working women...So my parents n relatives want me to work or to burn my degrees...I never thought that getting a job in this era is also a criteria to get married...I m qualified I can teach my children I want to live a life like my Prophet (pbuh)says...But I am shattered pressurised to get a job to get married I don't know what to do...All they want is more n more money...They don't want a wife they just want a working machine..Allah pls make it easy for me
Just put your trust in Allah and keep making dua, if you take up a job believing it will help you get married then it will mean you do not trust Allah rather trust that job, Allah has already written for you when and who you would get married to, so when right time comes it will happen, just keep praying and don't compromise your deen at any cost. ( because working as an engineer means working with non mahram men which is not allowed in islam and even if you get a job where there is segregation still it is better that you seek deen's knowledge and serve Allah's deen just put your trust in Allah).
Sister I have looked high and low for a woman that wants to be a housewife and prioritize the raising of children over a career and i have not found a suitable match. Alhumdulillah, i find that you are an honorable woman and do not lower your standards for a man that wants to lessen or make easy his duty by giving you share in the hard work to provide for the family
Many Muslim scholars says that women cant work without the husband's permission . But what happens if the husband divorces her and her male relatives cant or wont take care of her . Is there any such ruling in the Quran or authentic hadeeth
We, women, need to understand more about the roots grounded for career women in Islam. Get to the science of it and enlighten us.Because it's not that we want to disrepect our husbands, we just haven't found an appropriate way to communicate with them once we reach up that scale. So In sha' Allah i hope we can really get to the bottom of this because not all of us can fit into being gynaecologists n teachers. Tell us how to survive in the executive circles in the commerce industry. Shukran!
Thing is, thats not the position Allah designed a woman to be, too much fitna in a workplace. Our duty is bringing up the next generation of righteous muslims. Allah wont ask us about if we provided for our family, Allah will ask our husbands that, but Allah will ask us how we taught and raised our kids, how we maintained and looked after our husbands home and possesions

All your careers are based on interest based monetary system, no degree is free, and in your careers, will involve some dealings with either interest or haram.
Niqam is marriage. And culture is mostly eastern arabian culture (palestine to india and some afircan) which makes the broom pay extreme amounts of money. Like couple thousand to soffen up the dad and he soley pays for all the wedding stuff and then the price for the relatives then an expensive gift for the wife plus the standards of he has to be a doctor memorize the quran and an Iman at the same time. All but the gift (small amount of money never should be in the thousands ) is haram & thats why
Allah swt has given women certain powers that he has not given to men. No one can ever change the value my mother has in my life not even my father. Focus more on what is fardh rather than running behind money earning which is not fardh for u. Allah will not question u for your earnings. But he will question the men for it. Focus on your areas and don't copy men. Today women dress as men dress(whereas noan ever copies a woman, he is called gay if he does), women walk in a way which pleased men(not Allah), they talk which pleased men, they serve men, they dance for men, they eat, drink, act in a way which pleased men. And call islam patriarchal !
For the job seeking women who are not getting husbands to build their family, I would say try to marry before you are 25 and discuss with your future husband about your job. If you can ensure him that you are a strict women who is brave enough to say no to bad things and you will maintain your hijab and won't talk to men unnecessarily at your workplace and be compliant with your husband, I hope he will marry you. Ladies you need to also improve yourself to get married. You are not okay the way you are, its a lie You need to understand that men want beautiful young lady who is religious, compliant and make the home peaceful. A man does no want other men around his wife. And the main problem with working ladies are: they are less agreeable, show attitude, work around other men and often older.
A woman also wants a husband who lower his gaze, handsome and financially stable. Also a true woman never wants that her man go for second marriage. Women are also human beings and they also have priorities and taste in men.
Its funny how these guys seem to imagine that the number & length of hairs on their chins is some kind of substitute for the lack of brain cells in their heads.
In my college I have like 20 Muslim woman that want to take off their hijab because A hijab is a choice not a demand if a woman doesn't want to wear it why does she have to that's not right how about you put that thing in ur head and tell me how u feel okay so let's be honest here okay men have to stop thinking that a Allah put them in charge of everything okay because God God is good and God is beautiful and God is great and God loves woman why do you think we have the Virgin Mary is she represents what woman are capable off whatever that you men are not
You should not disrespect your mother .its totally forbidden to disrespect. May be she didn't chance to study. And more over she gave you birth and if u search you will find how much physically a mother had to suffer and after birth a long process to help u grow
'within the confines'. haha. how can you people be given one life and not live it to it's fullest? of all the crazy beliefs in the world islam is without a doubt the worst offender, solely because of the way it especially berates women.
That's the problem with people from other religion like you my friend. And I'm not blaming you for holding this kinda thoughts about Islam. The idea that we have been given only 'one life' is wrong. The lives of every person in this world is divided in two halves. This life and the afterlife. And the afterlife is infinite. So every believer prays and does everything that he or she can to earn the pleasures of the afterlife. And that's why we confine ourselves, we don't indulge ourselves in sins and don't 'live life to its fullest'. I hope you understand my explanation. And refrain from using sentences that is defamatory to our religion. I didn’t use any about your religion while explaining this. Thank you.
every husband should think like this. Islam is about purity, peace . so many people out there make islam so suffocating bc of their lack of knowledge.
