Great video, very interesting, the diorama looks great! I would like to use magnorail on my own 1960's era project but haven't quite found the place yet. thanks for the info on the various techniques that you used , very helpful. Cheers Guy
@@robbieparamor4988 I hadn't even noticed the railway, the road set up is very well done and the video has that upbeat "look at life" newsreel feel about it.. nice work. I have the blue circle foden, like yours, on my layout on my cement siding diorama.. that gives me an idea, but i see what you mean about the front being dragged around.. i'd have to add a steering assembly as you suggest. Anyway good luck with your projects.
@@DubloAirfix The Foden Blue Circle truck is very heavy, the video that shows that is from 20 years ago on a system I built that pre-dates Magnorail by a few years, I'm sorry but Magnorail won't pull that it's way too heavy, I used really chunky magnets on that thing, neo dymiums either side of a sheet of formica, kinda like industrial strength. You can get the Faller type steering units at sol-expert youll find them on line. You should sign up for our Facebook page Faller Car System UK, you'll get more insights there. Robbie
Looks very good. I also have a moving road on my scale-model (1/87) too. However, this is powered by a bicycle chain and a powerful motor. So have the chain always perfect grip and I can put as many cars on the road as I want. Now I want to repaint my street surface. You said you sealed the road surface with Tamiya? But how did you get the color so brilliant? Could you do another tutorial on this topic? Thank you very much. Regards from Switzerland
I like your setup very much but I went online and had trouble finding a website to purchase. I went on a site called fallen and there was another company that started with an M but they were in the UK or in Europe. Are there any American retailers that sell this item or a website? that has more options and more product. Thank you
www.reynaulds.com/magnorail.aspx Here's the address in the US sounds like that's what you're looking for. I'm in Florida. There is a Facebook page I'm working with called Faller Car System UK they also talk about Magnorail ... worth joining.
Well made video and some really great tips too.
Love it Robbie! Very cool! Love the VO!
I love this, really inspiring.

Mine is built as a road layout, the trains are an addition put in a year ago, before that there were just railway arches!
