Thank you for posting this! When I attended the hospital's seven week childbirth and postbirth classes, I asked why they didn't teach us how to burp (or even the signs). I was told by the LC that ran the class, if you are breastfeeding, you won't need to burp your baby (sure, if you ALWAYS have a perfect latch, that might be true). After the baby was here, I quickly realized how wrong that was, since we rarely had a perfect latch, and searched UA-cam for help. This and your How to Burp would have been amazing to see when I was searching.

Great video! Two additional questions. At what age do you stop burping babies and if they fall asleep while feeding from a bottle do you still wake them up burp?
If they fall asleep during a feeding yes you still burp them, I just use a more comfortable position & subtle movements while positioning for burping. I can't tell you for sure about when to stop burping them but in my opinion once baby starts burping on their own before you get a chance to is my guess
Can you also make a video on proper bottle feeding technique? I am not sure if the nipple should be full or half empty when feeding

He awakes and want more milk
But not fall sleep

My baby will keep breaking off and latch again then turn head and latch.. Sometimes she will smile to tell me she needs to burp. But she usually only drinks 2-3 ounces now at 3 months..
