- Nothing can stop Hall of Fame President & CEO David Baker from Knocking on the Door of the newest members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Not even COVID-19. Due to not being able to gather in a hotel at the Super Bowl like in years past, this year the Hall of Fame & NFL Network had to fly around the country in 4 days to deliver 8 Knocks on the Door to some of the greatest men to ever play, coach & administer the game.

Can you believe Megatron is only 36. He retired young at age 30. I think he is now the youngest member in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Jonathan Ogden was the youngest.

When he knocks and you hear screaming from MANY voices before the door even opens- that never gets old
It always brings me to tears when the old guys get there knock before they’ve passed. Giving someone their flowers while they are around to see, hear, and feel it is wonderful ❤

Charles Woodson’s mother will all be referred too as Mama Woodson at the U! She was the reason he didn’t leave in his sophomore year. Coach called Mama Woodson and set him straight! Go Blue!

Think of this moment, these men dedicated their lives to the sport, sacrificed things we couldn't imagine, and now, years after they're retired, they are recognized and celebrated as the leagues best to ever play the game. Congrats to all inductees.

Bill Nunn recommended the Steelers draft John Stallworth, Donnie Shell, Frank Lewis, Joe Gilliam, Glenn Edwards, Ernie Holmes, LC Greenwood, Dwight White, Mel Blount, among others. Anybody that helps draft three hall of fame players should be in canton and it’s long overdue
He was a link between the Steelers and the small Black colleges across the nation.
A lifetime of the hardest working you could possibly witness, culminating in this knock on the door must be the biggest release of emotion by these guys. I love this series.

I love this!!I played football, youngster and highschool 3 positions...I had to sacrifice EVERYTHING to quit because of family issues! I never got to play NFL..and I learned about the GOLDEN JACKET at a early age💎 taking care of my grandparents after my Mother and Uncle died (my grandparents kids)..I had to stop and sacrifice everything to take care of them both...I wish I could get a knock on the door saying..."what you did and had to do was selfless!..and they are looking at you from heaven and are proud of you...."...we might not have a gold jacket for you but here is at least a gold pin or recognition 💎💎 I love you grandma and grandpa..I would do it all over again if I had too!..drop everything to take care of you!💎💎!!
As much as I love all of these guys!! They made my early 20’s as a football fan the most inspiring and entertaining moments in my life! 2028 will be Tom Brady! The first ballot hall of fame! Just like all the guys in this video that I’ve showed my sons! This is the kind of man that you want to be like! Congratulations guys!!! Much love from a lifelong football fan!

The very thing they’ve ever worked for comes down in the simplest form in the end, recognition, it’s a wild feeling to see our idols and childhood hero’s and inspirations reach the tip top of everything they have worked for, I believe it makes us all emotional because that’s all we want in the end, to be recognized for the work, sacrifice, contributions we make in this life. Watching the knock or the speeches to get that kinda reminder for myself never gets old

He does and he always has. As someone who was privileged to experience his entire career at Tennessee as a kid, and got to meet him several times, he has always been that guy. Grandad had season tickets and we never missed a trip to Neyland to watch Peyton. Wish he could have lived three years longer to see Peyton inducted.
