Oh, what an absolute delight!!! A picnic... We all love picnics and would love to have one with you!!! A lot of us don't have beautiful gardens and lawns like you do and some of us live in really hot climates where we can't get out to do a picnic so this is such a gift, Kevin. Thank you a million times over!!! We just love going on drives to see the countryside and all the wonderful local stores you have there. You speak with us so comfortably and conversationally and include us in everything that you do, that I am certain that you have made just thousands of deep friends really look forward to your episodes.

I'm so fortunate to live in the country,my little granddaughters 5 and 2 like to have picnics outside,something so relaxing ,we have butterflies,so many lovely birds,and wild flowers,and some lovely flowers the girls and I have planted together,last fall we pressed leaves,and flowers,Kevin you have the prettiest flowers growing,I like to bring my own flowers in to make bouquets like you do.

Thank you so much for your great yet simple recipes for a delightful picnic. My great-granddaughter, age 4, lives very near the Redwoods in California. I think a picnic at a local park would be a great idea. Columbia County has many wonderful things to see. Why don't we try to pick a date and how many of us could really show up. It might also be a great fund raiser for Kevin's favorite charity.

Excellent idea Kevin! I love the menu. The thought of packing up a picnic basket full of goodies seems so romantic and fun. I would add also this picnic menu would be great for the beach or riverside somewhere. Also those summer outdoor concerts that many communities have in their parks. Somehow those brownies, as delicious as they look, will taste even better while sitting out amoungst nature. I love your picnic basket also. Very nice. Thank you for the great video. My favourite thing to do is have a picnic. I don't care if it rains or even snows. I usually wrap in tinfoil but the parchment is looking good, so I'll try that next. Thanks for the idea.

My suggestion for a picnic dessert: a container of raspberries, a jar of Nutella (chocolate hazelnut butter) and a knife to use for stuffing the raspberries with the Nutella. Quite decadent and, dare I say, addictive :)

Lovely Kevin. I made a very extensive picnic basket and took my grandchildren to the park. I took a picnic rug ,tablecloth,cotton napkins and bats and balls. I set the food out while they were playing. Even took cold wet flannels which were perfumed with cologne for them to wash their hands on. They said it was the nicest meal they had ever tasted. They had only ever been to McDonald’s and KFC ,the experience of a picnic with real home cooked food and baking was quite a treat for them. 😂

Dear Kevin, absolutely charming post with great picnic recipes perfect for the nicer weather months … I just love it!! I have wrapped picnic sandwiches in wax paper and included a decorative sticker label when making more than one type of sandwich. This way different types of sandwiches can be readily identified. 😊
I wrap in wax paper also. Have a way to wrap by rolling down the top, folding the ends into a point (like a gift) and tucking under. Love the sticker idea.

I have been a vocal fan since the early episodes when you worked the camera! Of course these are much more professional but I DO ENJOY watching some of the old episodes and catching up on recipes I may have forgotten. Some were super terrific and I appreciate the reminders I thank you.

Dear Kevin I am sure I will be doing this picnic recipes and take out my daughter, his boy friend and his son. I have the same Picnic Basket as you, with an additional table for 4 glasses, I bottle and space to put the picnic food.our videos.
I do picnics with my daughter since she was a little girl. Right now as we are living in Shorewood WI, we have the amazing grace of having the Lake and a lot of places to go and enjoy the view.
Since I moved here 24 years ago, From Venezuela, the Lake is my favores place to go, sit, walk with Coco (my labrador retriever DOG) and relax with the silent, listening the conversation of the trees and the lake with me. I talk to nature and give thanks Gaia (the Earth), for everything she gives us every single day. and specially to GOd for his wonder present with his creation of Gaia. It help me and conform when I miss my country and people giving me such a wonderful warmer breeze that is like it is hugungme saying "You are OK. You are here with me your friend".
I always talk to my daughter about you and each of your videos. This will be a wonderful surprise for them, talking about the menu, I am sure so his boy friend and his son will be listen about you.

Kevin, I made the Serious Brownies today for my daughter's birthday. They were easy to make and just delicious! She was really pleased - and she is a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to brownies! I will be making more next weekend when she sees her friends to celebrate (it is exam time here in the UK). Thanks for very clear instructions, as always, and for the metric quantities too.
