Bunjie coming out of retirement to save the day made the story/hunt way more interesting! Thanks for sharing a great father/daughter hunt! Congrats to both of you!
Ah yes to have a crossbow for backup and then make a killer shot to remind you of how reliable and wonderful your hunts together have been! Makes you realize older is not obsolete!
I wish I would have found this channel earlier it looks like y'all had a blast. I just got my first crossbow Thursday and I'm really enjoying it. I wanted to get a bow but I've gotten old and blind LOL. I can't believe how much bow technology has changed in 35 years.
What great editing on this! I loved the back and forth chatting with you each in your own frame. It had the show "The Office" vibes. lol. Looks like you both had a great time. Congrats on the quality kills. I enjoyed watching. :)
Great video! I’ve watched all and this was the best production yet. Suspense, humor, surprise, slo mo shots , guitar, etc. I wanted to come this year but Covid situation still doesn’t allow with my medical job. Hope to be there next year and bring guitar and my own design tweed amps so we can jam! Keep em coming
Newer subscriber. Best video yet! Even better than the broadhead test. Love the heavy bolts. I had a limb failure from shooting to light of bolts (400 grain) now I use 535 grain. Keep up the great videos. No hogs here in southern Illinois but alot of deer and tires. Depends on which are in season.
Awesome video! That Axiom fits you like a glove, Rich. Always has. Get a crank (or short cocker) for that Scorpyd and turn Genevieve loose. She had a good bow, but she has not yet found THE bow for herself. Perhaps that's really why that Scorpyd made it into your lives. Only time will tell..
That was a great video! Looks like you guys had a great time. Thinking i need to try to go next year! 🤔 Those memes...🤣🤣🤣🤣👍 All Hail the Swa...hackers and Bunjie! 💯
Absolutely in credible third every Meat & Greet! And the video was amazing! Great job Genivieve and Rich what a fantastic shot at 30 yards with the old work horse Bungie!
Research Ranch Fairy's "The Process". The science of FOC applies to all weapons that launch an arrow. Shooting a high FOC arrow with no fletching on it and watching it fly to the target like a dart is an amazing sight. He was shooting dozens of wild hogs each year with high speed light arrows and mechanical broadheads and only recovering about half of the hogs he was shooting due to poor penetration. He states that many archers are more concerned with getting the arrow TO the animal, instead of getting the arrow THRU the animal.
Great video. Looked like a fun time! I'm going next year. Mark me down now! GVW...stump jumper. Some people call Wisconsinites Stump jumpers. You can be an honorable Sconnie after that sweet shot.
Way to go you 2 too get it done. All hail bunjie . Got to love Canadian made Excalibur. Old tech that still performs. I am going to look into those brod heads. That is one heck of a cut. You can never have enough blood to track lol. Great job guys and gals.
You will love the swhacker 3inch cut there amazing I swear by them.call Excalibur and they will send you new limbs no questions asked wow great shot 40 yards!!!
Great video. Rich don’t feel bad about not sticking to the plan, for about 3 years of hunting I messed up my wife’s shot opportunities by doing things like telling her the wrong range. Then last year I didn’t say anything when a nice buck came in and she got a perfect shot on it and we watched it go down fast.
@@Deathbybunjie those pigs coming in close and walking on by is something that every hunter deals with, the now-or-never situation. I wish I was better at it. What I want to do this year if I’m in a now or never situation while deer hunting is to be ok with not getting a shot and figuring that the deer may give me another opportunity or that later I might see a better deer or that maybe a friend or family member might get to harvest that deer. Easy for me to say this, hard to pull it off when buck/doe fever is a factor 😬👍.
Bunjie still has it in him. Great show. I know Genevieve your dad hit your arm on purpose when you shot causing that neck shot. (Only Kidding) great job.
Been up north with poor service. Just got caught up. Congratulations both of you. Bunjie is "BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN!" Sorry about Jr. My close friend is now on his 3rd set of limbs with his new excalibur. His is the micro take down and is less than a year old.😕 All these new bows are pushing their limbs to hard, especially the recurves.
For greater penetration, you want a smaller head not larger. Larger head expels more energy going through the animal. Especially a mechanical, which will burn energy deploying blades and going through. Great hunt & I can’t wait till deer season!
It sucks those limbs decided to go when they did but at the same time at least it wasnt while you were at the hunt. Hopefully you have a new set on the way. It might be worth working a new arrow/bolt set up thats a little heavier as well to take some of the stress off the new limbs once they are on. As for bungie, I think it proved new isnt always better then old lol. Maybe one year you can have the M&G in Mi so I can go lol. Show you guys how its done with a vertical combound lol.
@@Deathbybunjie lol. To a point thats true but you can stave off the limb destruction a little longer with a bit more weight in those botls/arrows. That way its not as stressfull on the limbs. But yeah overall those limbs just have to much draw weight on them overall for the material they are made out of. I know for my excalibur G340 it reccomends to take the string off for storage when not in use for long periods of time. Not sure if it did that for that micro or not though. But in the end everything worked out.
He says it finally happened while talking about the limb breaking. Is that common with Excalibur bows? I would expect better from them for those prices
Awesome video. I really hope I can go next year. It would mean a lot to me as me hunting partner, and best friend, my Dad passed away this past February unexpectedly. We were hoping to go together next year, so I hope I can go in his honor. By the way NAP also makes a crossbow head that has a 3" cut. Better than the Swacker.
Hey Rick looks like you guys had a lot of fun on your meet and greet at the ranch on your pig hunt do you guys do this every year and when do you go I would like to be able to participate in this when you are there
I need to follow this channel better. I would have totally gone to the meet up. I'm only 5 hours away and my crossbow is 25 years old and still putting meat in the freezer every year.
mechanical broad heads are awful for pen. use tuffhead broad heads....i know you're against sharpening and tuning but 1 shot one kill boars and huge animals anytime you want(:
Northern Arkansas public land is overrun with hogs. Small game license is all u needed.( I think) Kill all u want. I see them squirrel hunting. Cant hardly squirrel hunt for them.
Bunjie coming out of retirement to save the day made the story/hunt way more interesting! Thanks for sharing a great father/daughter hunt! Congrats to both of you!
you should be proud of Genivieve, great video!
Ah yes to have a crossbow for backup and then make a killer shot to remind you of how reliable and wonderful your hunts together have been! Makes you realize older is not obsolete!
Super video! Congrats to you both on getting your 🐗!! Great job 👏🏾
Nice job both of you. Sometimes the old is the way to go. Never underestimate the old fella.
Awesome Guy's. EXCELLENT JOB
Thank you! And thanks for watching!

That’s awesome. You guys are a blast!
Great video! OG Bunjie rocks! Love it!
Great video!! Bringing Bunjie out from a long rest he just shows he still has it!! Would love to make next years Meat & Greet.

I really like watching your videos. I love the passion you two have about the sport and the respect you have for your bows and the animals.

Great video. Enjoy the bbq pulled pork sandwiches!
Musser's Bows, Boats and Science Channel
It was like Senior Bunjie wanted to remind the world he was the boss and still had the magic! Great Shot!!!
This channel has turned me into a crossbow addict and I haven't even been on my first hunt yet! Hoping to slay my first deer this weekend.
Good video I made a change on broad head this year too . Ramcat diamond 100 grain .
Great video. Looked like a fun time! I'm going next year. Mark me down now!

Love my old Excal Exocet 200. Simple, tough and accurate.
Awesome.

I guess Genevive is hunting ALONE next time lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😔 LOL

Same here. Started shouting all over the the limb broke

No doubt true but I don't like smaller wounds I like bigger ones
Way to join the club.
Great video - Point #1 you don't need 400fps to kill stuff.
Works both ways lol
Howdy from Forney, Tx
Jesus what a set of balls on that ram!
🤣
I think her first shot would've resulted in a dead pig with more time but glad she got another shot. Fantastic work both of you
I agree, he was on his way out
Love the video lots of real comedy The best plans of mice and men go arye. You just can't make that stuff up it's just too funny

The only was to preserve limbs like those with that much draw weight is not to cock it.

My friend sent me this video because she said that she heard me in the video. No joke your voice sounds 100% like mine haha this is so crazy
🤣
Bunjie is number 1 if it works don"t fix it
P.A. Stump Standers get it done, and Bunjie too!!
Indeed!
I live about 75 miles from this place! I think im gonna look into doing a boar hunt.
That arc tho !!!!
Indeed! It's quite the arc.
He says it finally happened while talking about the limb breaking. Is that common with Excalibur bows? I would expect better from them for those prices
Common for the micro series
“Luckily, dad has a brand new Scorpyd…” heh, heh, heh.
It was a scheme 😄
Tioga time. Still stumped on the stump.
Looks like you hit that pig with a spear 👍 both of you did a great job, no shame in a second shot at a big hog, there tough as nails.
little something to help with you iced coffee craze. make sure G gets a donut
You are correct, the heart is not in the neck, however, the heart pumps blood through the jugular vein. Quick bleed out.
What say you.??
Double long shot is the best shot

Sorry to hear about your Dad, best of luck. Maybe next year!
had to rewatch for the memes :)
Hey Rick looks like you guys had a lot of fun on your meet and greet at the ranch on your pig hunt do you guys do this every year and when do you go I would like to be able to participate in this when you are there
ZAP-A-GOAT!
Is there a video on the 2nd meat and greet?
Yes, there should be a few of them out there somewhere lol
So what do you think of the 3” Swhackers? That’s all I shoot now.
Good stuff for sure!
I need to follow this channel better. I would have totally gone to the meet up. I'm only 5 hours away and my crossbow is 25 years old and still putting meat in the freezer every year.

Nice job! Now step up to single bevel!
Swhacker IS single bevel lol
Well luckily you have a fence so they can’t run far and they are one step past pets lol
If they run as far as I walked they'd be pretty tired
Awesome hunt. Can you send me any and all information on this location. Appreciate y'all.

When is the next Meat and Greet?
Who knows? We will have to find out together.
@@Deathbybunjie I’m not sure what that means but I’m excited! I’m in south east PA. Delco
Seconds to go
10 minutes :)
Is the meat similar to store bought pork?
Not really, darker and richer usually and each animal is a little different but all good IMO
Well it's SIMILAR but not same, I would say.
Looks like you 2 went the whole hog and pugged out
Pigged
😅
Didnt you eat the boar ?
Oh yeah, I bought a pit boss a few summers ago, the boars are top notch
How much does a hog hunt cost?
$500-1200...weekday meat hunts all the way to trophy Russian Boar....
More memes Genevieve!
Were live chat go
Not sure if you tube preserves that or not!
