PILOTED BEYBLADES! because the servos stay where you're looking, if you put propulsion on the aiming servo, it should force the beyblade in the direction you're looking, even if it's spinning.
yeah I could see that working, maybe put the aiming servo on top of a neutral servo (if that would work) so it can spin fast and you can still point. Would need some testing.
I feel like you shouldn't shy away from going "Yo, you think we should up the number of blocks?" when you start building and realize it's gonna restrict you too much to make a really cool build. The number you choose at the start is a wild guess anyway. If it's just you and Yzuei, maybe he'd like to have more too anyway.
True, but in fairness to him, that ended up being almost entirely un-needed. The only battle where they'd have helped him, I think he was already cooked.
Scrap, I think this idea would be really great with a larger block limit, letting you both have good functionality as well as design. I think sometimes your block limits stunt your creativity in these challenges which is unfortunate because it would be fun to watch cool looking and functioning builds fight.
Wow, mouse aiming servos have definitely taken the land and sea battles to a whole new level! Almost to the point that you can remake ANY of the old land or sea battles and it will be like a completely new one.
That last little bit of the video where Yzuei "boarded" your ship could make for an interesting multiplayer scenario. Say you have two teams of two and you use the most durable/indestructable blocks possible and the only way to win the round is to capture the other teams creation. One player would have to wait till you were close enough and then board the other's ship.
This is awesome. Something that would be great for this is 2v2 pirate ship battles, with one navigator and one gunner. It would help to prevent what happened a lot in this video, with ships being beached because the navigator was manning the guns. 🙂
PvP in high seas map but the only propulsion you can have is the wind. Maybe it can be more interesting by also making it max complesity or function vs form or something along those lines
I vaguely remember that there was some problem with the wind propulsion that made Scrapman stop doing battles with wind powered ships. Can't remember what it was, though...
2v2 max complexity HUDless pirate battles in the darkness + rain. Two huge pirate ships, one pilot, one gunner (controlling all broadside cannons on one side), and part of the fun is not knowing exactly where your target is . Having the gunner be position correctly so they can properly aim the cannons without a reticle (or by using cameras) would be cool as well
Multiplayer Monday idea: You and 3 others each build 1/4 of a hide and seek map. After you are done building you join them together. Teaming is allowed however you cannot hide in your section. You could play regular hide and seek, tag or sardines. You could make a video or live stream of you building it and the next video you actually play it.
Aiming-servo-controlled melee weapon battle! Basically you would build a heavy boat/truck with as many no-input gyros as you want for stabilization and attach a melee weapon to it with aiming servos and try to smash each other. It should be a lot more satisfying than regular servo melee, especially because you could "clash" weapons. Oh and everyone would have the same number of aiming servos so you could decide to go for a heavy, slow melee weapon or a lighter one. Maybe you could increase the number of aiming servos each round. Also (taking ideas from other commenters) If you make it back to your "armoury" (spawnpoint) you can respawn to repair your weapon. I guess maybe you could allow stuff like crossbows and catapults, since the person using it would have to sit beside their armoury the entire time to reload and would be a sitting duck. Oh and no steering hinge/statue/figurine weapons.
Video idea!! Realistic pirate ship battles with a group! With sails (like sails only and rudder steering no gyros?) and same sort of cannons as these ones like real cannons, maybe realistic waves aswell would be so cool
With the new aiming servos, I think it'd be cool to see a 4 person game where a B-17 type bomber with aimable turrets tries to bomb a target while 2 fighter planes without turrets and worse weapons try to take it down before it bombs the target.
Also slower ships and longer cannon reloads (with the cannon cooldown logic Scrapman made for the logic update). And I'm trying to remember if there are less destructive cannons than these, real age of sail cannons didn't fire explosives ;)
If there's a wind mod or something it'd be cool to revisit this actually using the sails. It'll feel more piratey and less speed boat with cannons. I used to play a lot of Sea of Thieves, so I love this concept :)
You could use aiming servos to steer planes to be more precise. Also you guys could set initial block limits based on functionality and then additional limit for aesthetics.
Little hover boats vs big overpowered ship using the aiming servos. Little hover boats must have fully articulating turrets, shield blocks, energy shields (1), must have 2emp guns, and no more than 3 cannons. No other weapons allowed. They must also be faster than the big overpowered ship but not to much faster. The big ship must have extra seats (for takeover boarding when within a two meter range of the little boats), and the big ship is allowed every type of weapon, auto aim(except for the cannons), plus it has a victory condition of three full circles around the map then docking in the center island. All little hover boats are allowed three repairs per full circle and unlimited ones after the last circle is completed but before the big ship docks. The victory conditions for the little boats are to either get everyone of their team onto the big ship and it's extra seats or completely sink the big ship before it docks. Four players total required. One for the big ship and three for the little hover boats. Alternative team option is for teams of 2 and one of the little boats is a guardian and helper for the big ship.
One year of asking for spy car builds, please do spy car builds maybe do some kind of challenge where you have to have the spy cars have like 10 gadgets and have to fight a submarine or a low flying plane or maybe getting through a base to destroy a power core thing while trying to get past all the traps or something, or maybe using the spy cars to recover a weapon or something from a super fast car
Imagine if you guys had done max complexity pirate ships. Edit: with limits on both propulsion and total cannon number though to make it more pirate-y.
you should have a battle sea or air where the servos point + - 30 degrees behind you, that way you have to balance between aiming and controlling where you're going
I think it would be pretty cool if you did a 2v2 where one guy builds a boat and the other builds a glider then attach the glider to the boat with power couplers the glider get the guns so just a different spin on your 2v2 driver and gunner seat videos
I feel as though an AC130 style plane with cannons on aiming servos vs a ground team in trucks that have AA style weapons on servos could be a pretty fun match up and use the new aim servos wells. Also, disable auto aim for both teams.
Day 38 of asking ScrapMan to play GearBlocks 🥺 Also, Multiplayer Monday Idea. I'd love to see a maximum complexity Mech battle. Wheels or legs, but it has to use arms with weapons on them, and have a cockpit for the pilot! Maybe even a two seater, one driver, and one gunner. Or, just separate mechs lol. I'd love to see some of the new combat logic/blocks used if available too!
IDEA: you should do a max complexity pirate ship battle ... using the sails as propulsion but having huuuge pembroke style man-o-wars ... still using gyro steering but maybe on less power to simulate the real steering and weight of sailing ships (and that way if your sails are taken out you can still kinda aim)
Offsetting your gun servos with a manual adjusted servo might help so you can see what you are doing when trying to aim up and not have the camera underwater.
IDEAA!!!: remember last time where you have to transport the challenge mode Balls using the trucks you have made? Try doing that but instead, using the newest update in Scrap Mechanic, use the most RANDOM objects (like you transport trash of props like in the update vid that Axolot made) that you will transport (just not something that won't fit or too bad)
do this with 12 cannons a side max and a block limit of say 1000 reduce angles on cannons a little bit, and no servo steering. then have an awesome 4 way sea battle.
Image of they made cannonballs that don’t explode and can hit multiple targets by ricochet. Also image a large(max complexity) pirate ship that made those waves actually look small
Flashbulb should add aiming hinge for cars and tank turrets that can’t fit servos, also they should up the torque of aiming servos because they just wobble
You could’ve not added a window for each cannon. Because some ships especially in the Age of Sail. Are small vessels like Schooners, And Sloops. That have just a gun deck. But overall you have a good ship. 😊 Edit: nevermind He has just removed the windows. Sometimes i comment about what you could’ve done but actually happen so thats my mistake.😅
my first thought for a video was jet ski jousting but idk how it would work with the aiming servo, my second thought was essentially the same thing as this but the boats fly instead (yes the idea popped in my head when Scrapman said he's the flying dutchman)
@ScrapMan tried to make logic or solar timers for your play-threws 3 - 4 years old now 😆 To sound an alarm sirens to give you a heads up to prepare for an attack...🎉 Still working threw the play threws 📺 and enjoying them thank you 🤘😎🤘
PILOTED BEYBLADES! because the servos stay where you're looking, if you put propulsion on the aiming servo, it should force the beyblade in the direction you're looking, even if it's spinning.
+1
That's actually genius
wow
Can't spin too fast then right? I guess you could stack the aiming servo technically
yeah I could see that working, maybe put the aiming servo on top of a neutral servo (if that would work) so it can spin fast and you can still point. Would need some testing.

ScrapMan: I’ll also rudder steering for redundancy
Also ScrapMan: Doesn’t add rudders
True, but in fairness to him, that ended up being almost entirely un-needed. The only battle where they'd have helped him, I think he was already cooked.
@@Nevir202 Very true XD
I just wanna know why he only ever uses the middle hull pieces, and never uses the side hull pieces to save himself a lot of blocks.
Scrap, I think this idea would be really great with a larger block limit, letting you both have good functionality as well as design. I think sometimes your block limits stunt your creativity in these challenges which is unfortunate because it would be fun to watch cool looking and functioning builds fight.
YEAH
15:30 and if you can chnge the wave strengths, i can imagine the coolness, I may be in a trance
23:19 im drooling
Just do max build limit pirate ships. Basically this video but max build limit
He would've had another, like, thirty or so blocks if he'd just use the side hull pieces instead of just the mid hull pieces.
That's got to be the best pirate I've ever seen
BUM-BUM
BADABUMBUM
BADABUMBUM
BADABUM

Yes please do this
2v2 w gunner everything really. Can do all the different vehicles. Then switch seats.
Aye matey, I second this!

You guys are really good at building good looking stuff quickly now
23:42 The flying Dutchman is a boss in Terraria
fact checked true by real terrarian patriots
scrapman defo seems like a terrarist
i just wanna clarify that i mean terraria player, yes i know that he is not
@Blackbirdtree1 me too
make a maximum complexity pirate ships
like the galleons of sea of thieves xd
or sloops vs op galleons
or both
You should do a no UI stealth tank battle so you cant tell where each other are
Video idea!! Realistic pirate ship battles with a group! With sails (like sails only and rudder steering no gyros?) and same sort of cannons as these ones like real cannons, maybe realistic waves aswell would be so cool
13:58 Yzuei hit the trickshot
ships with more power cores than blocks
The aiming servos might be a game-changing thing for managing the weaponry in the big builds in the 1v2 or 1v3 videos.
I want to see a 2 vs 2 driver / gunner combo with the new servo with maybe the camera for extra imersion for the gunner
With the new aiming servos, I think it'd be cool to see a 4 person game where a B-17 type bomber with aimable turrets tries to bomb a target while 2 fighter planes without turrets and worse weapons try to take it down before it bombs the target.
A 2v2 video with someone steering the boat and the other firing the cannons would be a great watch
Wow finally A ship battle
Wow battles are so much funner.
Now I just wanna build big ships in trail makers
AND COOLER
I would say do a galleon battle more cannons bigger ships my reasoning is that usually ship battles are more methodical slow and tactical
Also slower ships and longer cannon reloads (with the cannon cooldown logic Scrapman made for the logic update). And I'm trying to remember if there are less destructive cannons than these, real age of sail cannons didn't fire explosives ;)
23:40 More like the Flying Scrapman (pronounced like Dutchman)

Oh, boarding mechanics for "small vs overpowered" challenges is a really cool idea! :)

9:23 - ScrapMan getting keelhauled 🤣😂
Well of course with the new aiming blocks you gotta do massive space battleship fights
Spelljammer: Ships with broadsides... in space. No powder shot drop 😁
935k subs!! 1mil soon!
Ooh, you can revisit the fighter vs bombers again. The aiming servos would make for awesome defensive armament.
Submarine battles maybe?
Also, Piloted beyblades for sure.
You should do 2v2 aircraft carriers and planes (each team should have 1 plane and 1 aircraft carrier)
Holy smokes, you actually used my idea! Well, kinda. Mine was max complexity with wind power only with no gyros.
Imagine if you guys had done max complexity pirate ships. Edit: with limits on both propulsion and total cannon number though to make it more pirate-y.
This was a good one!
Seems fun man, maybe make 2v2 in pirate ships, 1 driving and other Manning the cannons
I get the feeling these two will eventually find themselves fighting in space engineers
Do a boat race with like 4 people with broadside canons
Yaas! watching this from your side will be fun :)
you should have a battle sea or air where the servos point + - 30 degrees behind you, that way you have to balance between aiming and controlling where you're going
coolest video in a long time ! (Not that they other ones aren't good though)
Windpower, max complexity, no shields

I made a really fun battleship with turrets yesterday, I’d like to see u and yuzi make some modern battleships.
Might need complexity mod tho…
I feel as though an AC130 style plane with cannons on aiming servos vs a ground team in trucks that have AA style weapons on servos could be a pretty fun match up and use the new aim servos wells. Also, disable auto aim for both teams.
This would work super well for a plane with gunner, like old school prop planes
Now we need this on high seas in the Vortex ala pirates of carribean
You guys should use the aiming servos on battleship guns it would be interesting.
Day 38 of asking ScrapMan to play GearBlocks 🥺

Two player bombers 1 person as a pilot an someone in the back as a gunner with the new aiming servo
Y’all should do this again, but with just sails for propulsion.

When making videos like this, try please to play with the time of the day, like a dusk or a night version of this video would have been awesome !
Idea for TM logic: Mouse controlled vehicle.
Possibly with difference between angle sensors?
So glad Scrap is doing Sea Of Thieves content. 😬
what happens to the aiming servos when there are 2 players in the same creation where both seats control the aiming servos
There he comes - Scrapbeard the sniper.
IDEAA!!!: remember last time where you have to transport the challenge mode Balls using the trucks you have made? Sadly, I am an hour late, but I love this video. Keep it up scrapman
Here's an idea, what about something like the MQ-9 reaper drone with a missile turret vs a car with a smart cannon?
Day 25 of swimming tanks
How many days you think it will take this time?
Think it'll take another year and a bit again?
@@tiromotsomane950 i dont know

Yzuei built that pirate ship kinda similar to the Kidd's pirate ship from One Piece
helicopter+copilot with aiming servo vs cars or tanks
2 Pirate ships vs. 1 Over Powered max complexity pirate ship.
"WAKE up scrap man posted
Airships… return to the airships with the new servo piece.
Either as a hot air balloon style or a blimp type of build…
Hear me out.. Max Complexity Pirate ship battle, without auto aim, and only use the explosive guns, like the Tank cannons and Gunpowder guns
Flashbulb should add aiming hinge for cars and tank turrets that can’t fit servos, also they should up the torque of aiming servos because they just wobble

Try chaining multiple aiming servos into an inverse-kinematic robot arm.
I’d love to see scrapman play stormworks again
You should do helicopter battles with the aiming servos
Aiming servo aerial strike canon vs lifeboats on intense waves
True galleons with 32+ cannons
my first thought for a video was jet ski jousting but idk how it would work with the aiming servo, my second thought was essentially the same thing as this but the boats fly instead (yes the idea popped in my head when Scrapman said he's the flying dutchman)
Fun battles
Not sure when it'll come, but Satisfactory 1.0 revisit will come soon. (I hope)
get more players for this!
I don't know if all of them are able to make transformers but it would be cool to see some transformers transforming mid battle
Video idea: Make planes controlled with the vision servo and battle in a dogfight
You should do this on the high seas with sail power
You guys should do unicycle battles like tanks but tall and with one wheel
Scrap man you should do a Noob vs Pro challenge but u have some kind of disadvantage to make it fair!
now make one with massive ships
@ScrapMan tried to make logic or solar timers for your play-threws 3 - 4 years old now 😆

this but 500 block max limit. This way you can focus more on faster and better aesthetics. also bigger waves
Do this again, but you can only use wind as propulsion!
I would've voted w yuzie to add 50 blocks this would've been worth it
I hope scrapman revisits scrap mechanic workshop hunting soon, especially with the new mini update
