Hi, Mexican here. There are some things that I would like Americans to understand. 1.- Most people that cross illegally are not Mexican. Since about 2014 Mexicans represent less than half of the people crossing illegally. 2.- Most Mexicans don't want to migrate to the US. There are 130 million people in Mexico, and many more hundreds of million in all of south America. The life of an immigrant is hard, and the life of an illegal immigrant is even harder. Imagine living a life constantly in fear of being kicked out of the country you call home, the place where against odds you build a life, where you have your friends, and maybe even your family. And that is if you even make it there. As you see here, crossing is no easy task, and if you use the help of a criminal to cross, he can and will likely abuse your position to get money out of you, money that if you had easy access to, you wouldn't be in that position. They are moving to a country with a different language, different culture. And you cant just hop the border every now and then to visit your family back home. Only the desperate and misinformed cross the border, just imagine how awful your life would have to be to think your life would be better if you cross illegally. 3.- When Trump said we don't send our best he was kind of right. If only the desperate and criminals are willing to cross illegally, that's not exactly our best is it? The best, most determined and hard workers maybe. Its not complicated. Its generally recognized in most modern countries just because you are born somewhere other then your home country this does not make you a citizen of the country you are born in. Its like saying if you are on vacation and go into labor the child is now a citizen of that country and not a citizen of the home country. Thats not how things work except in the USA. We need a constitutional amendment to fix this problem, but it's hard to get one passed when the Democrats think that unchecked illegal immigrants helps them get elected.

Ive been wanting to make a documentary on the politicql situation in north california and other democrat states where a few cities are controlling the whole dtates decisions. Its become heated in many districts where theyre changing district lines. Also the push for illegals to become registered voters.

like this rancher, my dad is also 72 years old and he feels very similarly. Even myself at 30, I feel like this country is night and day different to what I remember as a kid 20+ years ago. I cannot even comprehend what my dad has seen from being a child in the 1950s til now. Problem with that, the "anchor babies" cannot petition their parents who did not enter legally. They have to do it back to the countries where they come from once they are of age.
Anchor babies and chain migration are the problem. Every illegal should be deporting. People need to stop whining that we are separating families. If they want to take heir child with them when they leave, they are entitled to do so. But they should not be allowed to stay in the U.S. just because they had a baby on U.S. soil. Especially when they intentionally broke the law in order to do so.

I try my best to not drive within 100 miles of the border now. That I avoid the border patrol and being stopped for no reason and unconstitutional stops. It would make so much more sense just to stop them at the border and not let them in.
