Many years ago while reading the Holy Bible your name " Coptic" came through! It was the first time that I had ever heard the word ( do excuse my ignorance). If I remember correctly, astonishing real jewels also seemed to cover the Holy Bible there! Astonishing! So I experienced this, through Faith via the Gift of the Holy Spirt, by being picked up by my " eyes of Faith" or God's Holy Spiritual eye Gifts!"

Just that I feel Eastern bishops have more fancy uniforms and look more classy and elegant.
This may be so, but remember that Catholics and Orthodox Churches are not made-up Churches. They have apostolic succession. Not to mention they serve as a core of culture in their respective places. What honor is there in destroying all that we are for the sake of unity? If there is to be unity, it should be in a way to preserve who we are, without influencing one another negatively. Things like the Filioque or Priest-Marriage are always things of tension.
It's good to see two church meeting and welcoming each other peacefully.This is what God wanted this.

Jesus Prayer? What is that? According to wikipedia, the Orthodox do the Jesus Prayer. Asceticism is also new to me. And so is theosis. But according to Reverend Trigilio, in his book,"Catholicism for Dummies," the Catholic Church still teaches ancestral sin. Whatever the case may be, unless both sides are willing to accept each other without changing each other, but maintaining that there should be one Church, then maybe, just maybe, it's okay. I do think we're better off separate though.

There is a way to unite, as other eastern rites churches have restored communion with rome such as Chaldeans, incorporate the patriarchs to the office of the papacy (the magisterium) and respect each other differences accepting that they are not fundamental in salvation as long as the common belief is the same, salvation through faith in our lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I believe it is possible.

The Church of God is not a business. The Greek Orthodox Church is Eastern Orthodox and so not in communion with the Coptic Orthodox Church, the Oriental Orthodox Church which this clip is about.
