That norfolk southern one looks awesome! Also I like how they are boxing HO engines into the plastic frames like that. Very handy. Also I see a set of spoilers from a certain road in certain schemes in the back ground ;)

Nice review James, InterMountain has surely made some great improvements! That horn sounds slightly different from last run. I hope the get the SD40T-2’s for HO ready soon as I have been waiting for a while. Keep it up.👍🏻
IMR Gevo's are ok but the underframe details could use a little more attention like ScaleTrains. Thought the Dash 9's would be out too. Kato has the AC4400's. Word is out that it will be more phototopical and detailed.
Im looking ot buy one of these here in Aus, however it only has the Lokpilot chip. I will be wanting to put a V5 and speaker in. This would be a relativley easy thing today... I do have experiecnce doing other locos before on my Aussie locos. just not sure about theses. Thanks,.
I ordered my first Intermountain locomotive and purchased a BNSF after watching this review and it went down the tracks about one foot and starting making a crazy buzz sound and it quit working. I returning it to get fixed this was very disappointing. Get ready to see how good the Customer service is.
I'm not convinced that the very dark tinted windshields are prototypical. I know the side cab windows should be dark, but I don't think the from should be.
The Tier 4 does not have a tinted front windshield. The interior is a prototypical dark brown color which can make the windshields appear to be tinted. If you hold the locomotive so you can look straight through the front windshield, you'll be able to see out of the rear cab door windows and can easily see that both the front windshields and rear door windows are clear.

I have a T4 CSX and I am having trouble with the truck chain. It came undone and now I can’t hang it back on the small hook. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Probably because people cry about them not flashing, those east coasters who are used to everything having flashing lights lol, but with an ESU it's simple enough to disable the flash
Depends on what era you like modeling , I really like these type of locomotives for modern era folks. If you want older locomotives go with Atlas or Rapido trains

I don’t get why IRL GE didn’t make it like that in the first place for all railways. Easier production I’m guessing?

looks like no ground lights :( is scale trains the only ones that include ground lights?
Well you are definitely paying for what you get ($230) just add any light yah want.
Athearn Genesis 2 has them. The SD-90 that I have has ground lights. I have this Intermoutain one and no ground lights.
If you want a good set for cheap I recommend the yard boss it has its flaws but man overall really good set in my opinion

Easy fix with some CV programming.
The last run had that issue too. As others have mentioned simple fix changing 2 CV's
I think the flashing function on the UP still looks cool. Its all user preference.
