omgg the nostalgia! This makeup look is actually so gorgeous I gasped when I saw the thumbnail and at the end. I remember watching those makeup tutorials in 2016, and 10-year-old me thought I'd never wear makeup because of how heavy it looked lol. But I still ate every video up cuz it was satisfying to watch. Now a year or two ago I got into makeup and I love the more natural look that's been trending, but still go for a natural soft-glam for special occasions. Those videos definitely fueled all my knowledge and love for makeup that I have now. You look absolutely gorgeous tysm for all your makeup videos

I keep the styles and continue to use the (*newly purchased & unexpired) makeup products I enjoy, regardless of if they're considered "dated" or "retro" by the masses. If it works for me, I don't ditch it to keep up with trends. I also don't run to wear new trends & products if try them and don't feel they work for me. So I still buy that Maybelline foundation, BadGirl Bang, and the Inglot gel eyeliner, but never liked The Porefessional primer. I don't "bake" or overly contour my face, but I definitely go hog wild with dramatic eye makeup. It's all about creating a personal style so we don't end up looking like identical fashion dolls straight from the Mattel factory.
Tbh I tried that filter on IG once, and the filter makes me look like someone with failed plastic surgery. Again, full-coverage foundation was sooooo popular back in 2016, as well as baking. Wait, 2016 was 7 years ago?
