A 1994 trip to Utah and Colorado for the 125th anniversary of the transcontinental railroad was proposed, but fell through due to SP's financial crisis of the time.
It sounded a little too high pitched to sound like a regular Illinois Central 3 Chime, yet it did sound awesome back then. The 6 chime the 4449 had sounded twice as awesome as the 3 chime.

In this case when FaBiO said “Sp 4449 going to Cajon pass” even though the 4449 went THROUGH Cajon Pass, not to Cajon Pass. Even though the video shows the 4449 in other locations besides Cajon Pass, this “user” has got to have something serious going on his end. Some kind of disability causing him to spam this nonsense. And don’t get me started with his “Pingu Sherman Peabody” BS.
