Great work on the animation. These chapters evoke a mix of emotions. On one hand, it portrays a magical time when humans converse with the divine, encountering angels in human guise, suggesting a world seemingly more prepared for divine guests. On the other hand, there's the presence of wicked, shocking, and disgusting individuals in Sodom and Gomorrah. It raises questions about why Lot chose to live among such people initially and why he didn't consider moving elsewhere when the world was less populated. His repulsive offer to give his daughters to the unruly mob and the questionable scheme devised by his daughters in the cave suggest something unsettling about Lot and his family.
This episode… I had so many mixed feelings, lol. It was so interesting how Lot decided to handle the visitors… Every time I hear that story, it always rubs me the wrong way. On the one hand, I understand his trying to protect the angels… But on the other hand, it is difficult to understand how he could sacrifice his daughters in doing so? However, I can somewhat relate that to what I see today, in the sense that I see many people in ministry sacrifice their families above and beyond what God asked them to do in the name of the Jesus or the Kingdom. I’m sure there are a bajillion different viewpoints on this, so I’m not gonna start another conversation on this video. Still, If anything, he should’ve offered himself before offering any member of his family. Also… I can’t believe the daughters felt such pressure to carry on their family name. I don’t know what the customs were back then, but I can’t imagine being in that position. Similar to my other comment, this pressure is still evident today… Where women make poor choices because of the pressure to have children. It makes me sad. But then there were highlights, including when the angels saw Lot’s hesitation, and they grabbed his hand to go, and it explained because the Lord was merciful. I can think of so many times where I know the action I should take, but I hesitate, either due to anxiety, fear, the unknown… But it’s literally like God grabs my hand, and says “let’s go!” instead of being upset with me. So, that was very relatable and comforting. This was definitely a thought-provoker. Great video as usual!

And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. Interesting that God's Angels, and fellow workermen like the Apostle Peter in Acts 10:25-26, won't accept Worship? However, God does! Muliple times people, the sick and demon possessed, bowed, even begged Jesus, and he never once stopped them from worshiping him. Jesus welcomes our humble adorations and worship in the right spirit, then he lifts us up saying "Don't be afraid. Your sins are forgiven." Amen. Then, if we look at Abraham, Lot, and Daniel in the Old Testament, they were never rebuked when bowing down to these so called Angels? Ssssooo, am I drawing along bow here??? Daniel was in vision when he bowed down in Daniel 10:17 For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. 18 Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, However, Abraham and Lot weren't in vision. Interesting side note is the sign that someone is in a real vision whilst awake is the feature "no strength", "neither is there breath" and "he strengthened me". These signs and wonders will become more and more previlant as Jesus draws nearer. Amen. But beware, the Enemy of Souls also accepts worship, however he can get it. By hook or by crook! This is the way! A lot of Education hides Truth!!
Oh! When God asked Abraham how many righteous for God to stay the execution, and Abraham got down to 10? I think that Abraham didn't go any further, as he was thinking about his relative Noah, who managed to only get 8 people saved. I also think that if only 2 more antidiluvians had entered Noahs Ark, God may have not flooded the world. But that's pure speculation, until we ask him face to face in Heaven, by the Grace of God alone!!
Great job telling this part. It was complex. My favorite is Abraham pleading with God for the righteous lives before God destroys Sodom and Gomorrah. My least favorite is Lot's daughter's sleeping with their dad. Just eww.😢 But interesting still, how Abraham was linked to Moab and the Amorites.
