Did I see him play the "flute measure" before rehearsal 14? Interesting to me, because there are a large number of clarinet audition videos on UA-cam. I have yet to hear anyone play that measure in their excerpts. Could Schwarz have been using an older edition specifically, or do most orchestras and auditions now use the Mcalister edition?

The 1919 suite does not have an Eb clarinet as I recall. We are playing the 1919 suite in our city's youth symphony, and we have no Eb player for this piece.
There are at least two versions of the Suite. The earliest version from 1910 is for the same size of orchestra as the full ballet, but he subsequently revised it for a smaller band in the 1919 suite. I can’t remember where I read that apparently Stravinsky stated that he preferred the reduced-orchestration version.
