- Woof! That was the my first recording with this Spector bass and it sounded massive played with a pick on such a tight bass line!
In an attempt to imitate the tone of bassist Mark Evans' Gibson Ripper bass I used the bridge pickup only in humbucker mode, bass boosted but barely any treble.
It's a great song to practice palm muting as well as up and down strokes with the pick.

Nice! Next do the "Jailbreak" by Thin Lizzy while wearing an ACDC shirt. Lol.
Tempting but I don't own one 🤣
Fabulous as always sir! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks very much friend 👍
Instant like for incredibly beautiful bass (I've said this many times before over in Facebook, in a bass guitar group).
Also, very well played, good sir 🤘
Thanks so much brother. Spector basses are outstanding in both tone, feel and beauty 🤘
Excellent play! Altough I play a lot of funk music, I struggle a lot playing this song and others by acdc. I always think its gonna be easy cause the notes are simple, but I struggle making my sound regular and consistent
Spot on, these bass lines are deceptively easy. For example hitting the strongs on an up versus down stroke can make a huge difference
@@NXPBass oh yea, I failed to realize I need to use a pick.. with fingers its less suited for rock music.
Anyway, thx for covering this great song!
@@olivierslupik400 idk man I play finger style most the time, but there are bass players whose style definitely demands it like also Duff McKagan, Lemmy, Dave Ellefson. But not all Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, Steve Digiorgio, Tom Hamilton are definitely finger style
Great tone,must learn this one👍👍
Thanks Andy, it's a great riff
nice job
Thank you Pepe!
