Black Hawk Startup and Takeoff at KMLB

- Five Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawks were at KMLB (Melbourne Airport) for a "training mission". I decided to record them starting up and taking off since I the plane I train was right beside them. The two Black Hawks that did not take off had problems. One had an engine problem and the other had a flat rear tire from a ricocheted bullet during a training exercise (or a few Pvt.'s "practicing their aim")
The random camera movement during the pictures at the end and somewhat strange movements during the video are from youtube's built-in video stabilizer. It's better than what it was though considering I was trying to hold my iPhone out in front of me for about 10 minutes. - Авто та транспорт
These weren’t just regular UH-60’s. These Blackhawks are from the 160th SOAR. They’re Special Ops pilots and crews who do the most dangerous missions the Army has to offer. Being on the ramp right beside them like that is extremely rare!!
Apaches are indeed the most badass helicopters, although I like the Kiowa's too
Good work.
Thats freedom. I can smell the fuel from here. Its a wonderful smell
What you have here is a visit from the 160th SOAR. Those aren't "Regular Army" 'Hawks.
Jak ja uwielbiam BLACK HAWK
Nice👏👍😎
Exactly.
Is that why the tips of the rotors are bent downwards? That was like the first thing I noticed.
Yes, it does. He said he thought the MH-60K was the "most badass helicopter group in the world", and I said "Apache...*cough*....*cough*......", thus implying that I think the Apache is (in my opinion).
Interesting. I thought the terrain-mapping radars, FLIR, and larger elevators are exclusive to MH-60's
❤❤❤
isn't those blackhawks from the 160th special Operations Aviation Regiment from fort Campbell kentucky?
fkin *IRENE* XD (call sign during Operation Gothic Serpent or nicknamed: Black hawk Down)
I was thinking about dragging it on for another 2 decades at least tbh...
😍😍😍😍
Those are MH-60Ms. Those are the newer Black Hawks
M Models!!!
but look mh60k and "most badass helicopter group in the world" are two totally different things. If you read it like this which is how its supposed to be punctuated. Its SOAR, and its a mh-60k, a spec-ops helicopter, most badass helicopter group in the world. Yes the apache is badass aswell but the both of you presented the comments made no since towards each other
are we through with our discussion now? lol
dude, mh-60k is a helicopter not a group..
Well I don't speak helicopter lol. I fly planes and recorded those helis so idk what's going on....
Are those MH-60s?
No Anthony Foulke they are mh-60m's
Where is this? It is very scenic there.
Yes it is lol
