Glad to see her finally hauling he first train after her restoration and test runs;) great shots of her too, especially with that awesome horn show she had! Btw, you should head on over to Clewiston sometime to film 148 in steam, she'll be hauling her first excursion pretty soon;)

My all time favorite locomotive! When I was a kid my father back in the early 70s bought me a Santa Fe Ho scale train set and the engine was a CF7 and man I was in love with that engine. He also gave me a HO scale steam locomotive which made real steam but I still rathered my CF7 Santa Fe which had the silver and red paint. Though the years we built a complete city complete with loading docks and a passenger train terminal! We even had street lights and rail yard lights! Great days growing up playing with my train set!

The CF7’s had two different types of cabs installed when they where rebuilt at the Cleburne shops, when they were rebuilt they took them down to the bare frame and rebuilt with the new design. they left some of the tedious things in during the rebuild, There where the rounded top cabs like #204 has withe the extra windows located on the side of the cab for more visibility on the side of the locomotive and a flat top or square off cab there where more of the modern design.

Wish the railroad I work crew on had one of these on the roster. About the closest thing we got recently was that of a GP7 from WSOR plus an ex VIA FP7A that we have on the diner and picnic trains.

@@jessicaburdell7779 I've been there, it was great. I love the F7 and the steam engine you have.

Same. The F7 definitely has a nice K5LA as the horn choice. Unfortunately, the J Class is stored for now but I think will be back soon most likely in one of the warm months

Where did train number 204 come from? It's not like Thomas rescued her.

Why does #204 look like it's slanted?

I was just thinking that exact thing. It looks like it's leaning heavy on the rear truck.

I know but at least it retains it's original cab, the ones with the big box cabs are really ugly.
