there good mowers i think .......i got one but its the bit newer splendimo........i thought the bed was solid all the way through or maybe it is on mine. the belts need replacing fairly often but there not overly expensive

I’m pretty sure even the later models have sectional beds; from memory it lets you get at the individual flex rods if one sheers. I nearly bought one a few years ago, the salesman told me it could be run vertically because of the individually greased drive units. When I showed interest in also using it to face a hedge he wasn’t sure that was a good idea.

Yeah the Spendimo are also sectional according to Mike. And yes Mike said the same that they can be run vertically as other mower bed are oil filled and when vertical the oil goes down hill, where as these are grease filled (very expensive grease I have found out) it stays where it was put.

Hi James & Mike Dad had a Lely splendimo that had the bed rebuilt or in bits 3 times twice by the original owner dad took it apart to replaced a drive shaft that was a good mower Thanks again
