mattjubie you can tune the RS the same way. Same engine bigger turbo. Obviously that’s not the only diff. Pun intended. Based on my interpretation of the research I’ve done, Stage 3 S on 100 is similar to that of stage 2 RS6/7 on 93, imo. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Cole Harris Piston design on the RS is different from the S, which allows for more boost. So their power potential is higher, only capped by the limits that the stock bottom end can hold, which is the same on both.
S6/S7 uses a dual clutch transmission, at very high hp levels it has been shown that the clutches can slip. But majority of people wont reach those levels. RS6/RS7 uses a traditional planetary gear transmission with a torque converter.
Because you get to start with this level of performance without having the hassle of installing aftermarket parts, tuning, and voiding the warranty. Of course for that convenience you're paying a lot more money--everything has a trade off.
I've been looking into getting back into a 4 door and was looking at audi (specifically the S6/S7 and potentially RS3). Unfortunately, even with all these mods an S6/S7 is still slower than my 2018 Mustang GT 10 speed that just has headers and E85. I've ran 10.9 @ 126. An RS3 would be closer with an E85 map and downpipe but I keep reading about people bending rods. Think getting back into a Charger Hellcat would be a better option. Do another pulley swap and be done.
Ah yes congratulations, you made a car, built for speed, barely faster than a luxury family sedan that weighs a literal THOUSAND POUNDS heavier than you. I'm sure you feel great about that.
@@Hiiamthelren Yes let's compare a stock GT to a stock S6, then let's comparing modded GT's to modded S6's. I'm sure you'll love the outcome of that comparison. BTW, just adding E85 to a 10 speed Mustang makes it faster than the times posted by this modded S6. I'm sure you'll also love how my old Charger Hellcat, another 4500lb car, puts this car to shame bone stock and especially with some basic mods.
I'm calling BS on your time with those mods. Prove me wrong. You would need a damn good DA, tires, suspension, exhaust, CAI and a near-to-detonating tune and that is still a big if. Lets toss in some gears and ported manifold to boot. Vids and slip. No way in hell you ran 10.9 with just E85 and a tune. The S models are pretty water down to keep a good gap between the RS. Even 600hp can’t overcome the weight, but the 700 ft tq really gets the car going from a dead stop.
You can get one of these for 20k now. Put a couple grand into it and you're knocking on 10s door. This car is walking many street cars with this simple setup, especially from a dig. lol
TalonTSi97 Videos because you’ve been looking in all the wrong places...need to head out to the twisties, autocrosses and a proper track...that’s where the real fun beez!
Most S6 buyers are not cross shopping a Focus RS lol. One is a large luxury AWD sport sedan. The other is a hot hatch. Audi is $80k the Focus is what, $40k?
Now thats a daily driver!!!
Proud rs5 owner, nice to see Audi on this channel
I'll try for some more soon!
Hey! That's my old Impreza!
Knowing this why would anyone buy a rs over a S? I’m guessing the cost to tune/upgrade the S is less than the price difference between the 2

Rs turbos are bigger bro

did you ever try using the launch control?
0-60 in how many seconds?
Stage 1 has occasionaly hit 3.4, stage 2 should be in the 3.2-3.3 range.
@@datsuntoyy yeah stage three I think 2.9 or maybe 2.7
Lighter front wheels as well probably would hit high 10s bro.
Ended up swapping for light weight 20s all around and hit 10.8 👍
@@es6tt221 hell yea do you still have the cars? I just got my s6 I’m so stoked
@@es6tt221 what wheels did you have ?
did you install rs7 turbos ? or are they stock turbos with stage 2?
stage 3 is upgraded turbos so that’s stock turbos stage 2
What hp you getting for that run. I'm picking up mine next week hitting 600 on dyno with rs turbo setup.
No launch mode?
It has it
These do terrible with launch control on stage 2
How reliable is the car with this tune?
What rims are those. The ones on the back
How much hp is a stage 2 s6?
Looks like a possible 600hp claim
TalonTSi97 Videos Does the car have dowpipes only? catted or not?
Did you read the mod list i posted in the video?
TalonTSi97 Videos Now I did :P but what is rock euro?
Looks like its the Intake setup
What was done to the car...?? What's apr stage 2 mods list at..??
How come not using launch control?
10's? Nothing a little nitrous can't fix.
Don't need it
does the differential goes bad for using different size in the back?
It would, but he's not. Maybe a smaller rim and a tire with a larger profile for more meat on the tire.
What other mods besides stage 2 tune
Stage 2 is downpipes and full exsaust that's it
You on 100 or 104?
Alexandria M 100 tune 104 fuel .. no 104 tune from APR for the c7.5 (2016+ s6)
why do the front and back have different wheels?
This a turbo 6 or still the supercharged 6?

S6 is a TT V8
you're thinking of the S4

Rs3 is good as long as you don't get carried away with the it and over/under build parts. It doesn't cope with shortcuts

Really thought they were faster
Weight is the killer of anything. Considering though, it's a nice plush, full interior Audi, that's fast as hell.

Jon, I agree with Los Pollos. I have a 13 S6 stage 1 and it is a very exciting car.

I can agree with that automatic comment but I haven't seen any Focus RS going as fast as the Audi S3, RS3, Golf R platform
