My hat is off to Manoe Konings and I wish her a full recovery from her illness I miss seeing her antics in the JSO. She is one big RAY of sunshine in the JSO. She has a fan club here in Cocoa, Florida. USA. She is definitely a talented musician and Mr. Rieu is very fortunate to have her in his JSO. When I watch the videos, She`s the person I enjoy watching the most. I enjoy her sense of humor, and it seems she can play a bunch of instruments. She`s very tallented.

Some times the world kind of spins strangely things don't make sense. To bring it back in focus just look over Andre's left shoulder and there sitting there is a vision in blue calm and serene polished and professional. With just a hint of the devil behind her eyes ready to kidnap the orchestra for a good run of rock and roll. Or, do a great Andrews sister impression. Monoe gives me such hope and support. We just went through cancer with my daughter. I was so grateful when the doctor told us she was cancer free. I thought of Monoe and the way she presents herself during performances. She is a breath of fresh air every time I look at the CD's of the concerts. There will never be a way I would be able to attend a live concert but with the power of technology I get to watch each performance with my daughter in our own front room. I feel like I have know all of the JSO members and the singers for many years and have a personal bond with them even if I have never seen them face to face. Monoe, thank you for giving us so much hope and joy during our hardest time. We love you so much, and enjoy your talent. Please continue to stay healthy.

There is only one Manoe Konings. She is brilliant, so musically talented, charismatic, funny and beautiful. Nobody could possibly dislike Manoe.
Manoe is an amazing lady, with an amazing talent....her spirit shines through in every performance.
My wife is currently fighting cancer and on her 3rd chemo treatment and we use Manoe as our tower of strength and hope.
The music lives on.
I lost my beloved wife in Sept 2019, and I have only just (via Andre Rieu on utube) discovered this existence of this wonderful lady, she really is special.
The first time I saw her play the bagpipes I knew she was a very talented and special lady. Enjoy watching her almost as much as Andre.
Manoe, thank you for bringing love, fun, and hope to the multitude

I could not tell from this what Monoe suffered, but am so pleased that she has overcome whatever hardships she had experienced. I adore her and JSO should be proud of her musicality, humor and humility and honesty. It would not be the same without her.

I have only recently become aware of Andre and his music. Ever since watching him I have wondered who you are. It was easy to see you were an amazing woman. Now that I have been able to search you out and find out your life story I can see why you are front and centre in many of the videos. You are a remarkable woman.

Great musician and definitely the most positive person in the JSO. She is clarinet virtuoso and all instruments that plays. Her face when shows tongue colleague is priceless.
I'm an 82 year-old, ardent fan of Andre and the JSO, and nowadays I watch at least one Episode of them EVERY day. But can anyone tell me the name of the young lady in the gold dress that Manoe is teasing at the end (9:38 to 11:35) of this video (and who also sang "Heidi" with her in "Rock and Rieu"..?

I first gained access to the 'web' in 1990, and accidentally watched this watched this wonderful lady playing the the bagpipes at a a concert by Andre, I have loved her ever sìnce£!

Ik heb 't voorrecht gehad, van haar klarinetles te mogen hebben, toen ik begon. 8 of 9 jaar was ik, es-klarinet. En dan kwam je in de les, zat ze gitaar te spelen. Latere jaren, naarmate je dichter bij het Hubertushuis kwam in Geleen hoorde je steeds luider een doedelzak... Toen André bekender werd is zij helaasch gestopt met les geven, maar mijn basis ligt bij haar ❤️

A lovely tribute, to a most deserving woman, but the execution left a lot to be desired. The on screen printing was often unintelligible, due to its lack of contrast and the messages were flashed on and off so quickly that I found myself with a finger resting on the "Pause" button as the clip played out. Ms. Konings is certainly deserving of such a tribute, but I wish a little more time had been taken to do it right.
If further tributes to Manoe,or to other orchestra members, are to be published, please, either do a voice over or allow time to read the tributes on a clear and positive screen. If neccessary, create a white box at the foot of the screen to include the homage.
