My undisputed No. 1 favourite in the orchestra... The first time I attended a concert, he was missing, and I still remember what a major disappointment that was - it almost (almost!) ruined the entire evening for me.
This guy is just so much fun to watch during the concert. André is entertaining the audience, but behind his back, Cord entertains half the orchestra! I remember one concert in particular, when I was lucky enough to sit quite close to the stage and with an unrestricted view of him. That evening, he was really incapable of keeping his mouth shut for more than a few minutes at a time. He was chatting and joking around with everyone from Vera to Nadejda and from Noël to Martine, and several times he had his closest neighbours Jennifer and Gosia literally doubled up with laughter - while they were playing (!) :-D
Btw, you've got quite a few lovely pictures here that I've never come across before. Care to share? Maybe I have some things you might like, too.

You know, combining what I see in these pictures with his birthdate, I just realized something. (How did you find out his birthdate by the way?) At the Coronation concert in April 2013, he still had long hair. At the Maastricht concert following that July, he had short hair. And it stayed short after that - until recently, that is. LOL Makes one wonder if he cut it off on the occasion of that magical milestone of his 40th birthday? Anyway, personally I think he looks a lot better with longer hair... and real scrumptious with that beard at 0:30! ;-D

That's what I came here for, but this is obviously a different Cord Meyer. This guy was born in 1973.
