- With Bring Me The Horizon really ramping things up ahead of the release of ‘That’s The Spirit‘, the band took to Maida Vale Studios last night for a live session.
‘Happy Song‘ and ‘Throne‘ are their usual rip-roaring selves but the highlight of the whole affair is an acoustic rendition of ‘Drown‘ (with a bonus string quartet).

3:29 his screams are amazing. especially when he screams louder the second time. and when he said "so much spirit!" his voice was breaking/shaking. but the very last time he said Spirit. oml his voice Is life! cx
You can see that Oli is in pain when he screams, everyone needs to lay off him and appreciate the fact that he still does it anyway
the only solution for him would be stopping screaming. But then everyone would hate on him. So well.
+Elisa Gautimbert his voice is still raspy as ever. they way he's screaming is completely different from how he used to. it's actually a lot harder. harder to do and harder on your voice. if his voice was damaged he wouldn't even be able to scream how he is. and this actually sounded really good considering he switches from clean to raspy so Idk what the fuck you guys are talking about lol.

There's no way this is live. That or heavily edited afterwards. I understand it's a different version, but a little too close to the studio version to be live.

It's definitely live; this is what it sounded like on radio as it happened. The one thing that is being backed up with a prerecording most is the falsetto in the chorus.
You gotta realise that performing in a studio environment is extremely different to performing onstage to a crowd.
I know what the difference is. And I know that it's much easier to add a backing track for certain parts. I've seen him live and in recent videos. He's much better, but he's still far from this perfect.
+patrick soler He's definitely far from perfect, but so is this performance (at least vocally). There are several inconsistencies in his singing here, and more in the Throne and Drown performances from this exact same session.
