This is a great track... it's 2024 and this is the first time i have seen this vid and heard this song. I would say it is a bit sophisticated in a good way...really like it.
Awesome. I only saw this video once, and it was on Granada TV. I was off school for some reason, and it was played at the end of a programme around either 13:55 or 14:55 in the early 80s. I was a big Dooleys fan in the late 70s and I still am now.
Dont know much about them but I was 11 when I bought this on single in an old fashioned record shop in Ballycastle - for me, their best song!! In the vein of Boney M, ABBA, Brotherhood of Man
very difficult to get so many people into one video and not, for me, one of their better efforts but there can be no ignoring the fact that Ben Findon and this lot came up with some CRACKING 24 carot POP music. There was no pretence at being "cool" or "cutting edge" or whatever BS term which might be doing the rounds. Love Patrol, Wanted, Body Language, Chosen Few, And i wish.....singles that were the CLASSIC "three minute pop song".Another GTO act that could also produce pop gems was, of course, Tony Mansfield's New Muzik.I take it for granted that you already KNEW that?.
It wasn't a Bside in UK, I have the 7" vinyl, It's the only title named on the picture sleeve. Thanks for uploading, I love this video, just such a shame the beginning is missing.
They did a rare interview on itv to promote this track but wasn't allowed to stay off school to watch it..think it was kathy and bob the interview was with..
@bifftahunt I remember the song! I always thought it was an ABBA number, however. And what the hell is a "Secret Squirrel Chegger", anyhoo?!? I see a slight Ingmar Bergman influence Hyuk! Yuk!
Love The Dooleys but let's be honest, this video is so cheap, the Abba's Knowing Me Knowing You moves just don't work. it doesn't do this great song any justice.
Why wasn't this a hit..
So much better than people gave them credit for..
A great track....
I'm Dooley mad. Bring back these legends. Bring back the 80s.
I love the Dooleys....underated great pop group.😊 They are the best of 1970'' s brit pop, the very best. 😊.
I have all 5 of their wonderful albums.
been a fan for about 35 years,i love this song, its really good
I would pay good money to see these perform again especially Kathy Dooley, Jim Dooley, Anne Dooley

a damn good song, and a very simple, yet effective video
1.50 - 2.10 This is what I Love😁💖💥🤗
dooleys forever xxx
Listening in 2020
I actually remember watching this on Saturday morning TV in 1980.
Thanks for this rare video!!!
That's my Mum and Dad and family!! :)
how can it be your mum and dad , they were brothers and sisters
Bob Walsh married Anne. Emma is now a popular artist in South Africa
Miss Emma Walsh are they still performing?
How ignorant.
Anne, Helen, Kathy, Jim, John & Frank were brothers and sisters.
Alan Bogan and Bob Walsh were not family.
Anne was married to Bob.
Anne Dooley was always my favourite, I hope she's well! 😍

This WAS the A Side !!!
in the video of in a riddle which girl who sings first is is kathy or anne?
Anne.
They were Britain's ABBA, weren't they?
Bargain basement ABBA?
Love The Dooleys but let's be honest, this video is so cheap, the Abba's Knowing Me Knowing You moves just don't work. it doesn't do this great song any justice.
Abba clone
*I'd almost forgotten...*
*...just how lame they were! 😂*
The riddle is, this track is so ABBA with the video to go with it, very corney and boring.
This is really bad.
