Wow. Maybe they could have communicated better but you very clearly don’t understand nursing. I’m not saying there aren’t bad nurses but they need to get doctors orders to do almost anything. They also have other patients. In labor and delivery they have 1-2 patients at a time. In postpartum they will have 3-4 couplets meaning 6-8 total patients to care for.
How important do you think communication is?

That's terrible☹, my daughter had a similar experience with her first child. The staff was okay, but the postpartum procedure was not done properly which could've cause my daughter her life. The second time around she got a doula and did a more thorough research of the hospital. The second experience
was great from start to finish. Congratulations on your precious new family member, God bless 💖
