Little nightmares animation.
Remember that TV that turns on Six to distract the janitor? And what if, at this moment, Thin Man would come out of this TV? Will Six be able to escape from him? - Ігри

Little theory:
The reason why the thin man was beaten so easy was because he was far from the tower. The farther he is from the tower, the more weaker his abilities are, thus ending up having a more “physical body” and not being able to beat the janitor with ease.
Do remember when playing as mono and the thin man is close enough, he turns your screen blue and a high frequency ringing is heard. He would most likely be able to take advantage with it if he was actually closer to the pale city, not only that, he was actually easily defeated as well, and wasn’t able to snatch six away like he did when we first saw the thin man
Little theory too: thin man was not fighting from the begining cuz he wants to help his young self
the abilities are Mono/Thin Man's own. realistically, the Janitor would have never been able to beat him. the only ones who stand a chance at doing that is the Lady or post-Maw Six

Could the Thin Man really be smacked that easily though? I always thought that psychical stuff would just phase through him like it does in-game.

Yes, because He's a physical entity, this is shown because His shadow is there if He was a spiritual entity it wouldn't make sense for Him to have a shadow, as they're a dead clue if something is physically there, even while being hit, The Thin Man has a regenerative healing factor as proven when He was a child, He got slammed into the train car when it crashed, and eventually was fine not long after, for a normal human, that would leave you on the bed for weeks.
Yeah, I guess your right. Still, it would've been cool if he was a sentient broadcast projection or something like that.
why do you think thin man is like a ghost? Remember that it was Mono and didn't die. For an analogy, I will give Enderman (from minecraft). Personally, I've always thought so.

I love that when Six remembered what happened to Mono, she just screams like a raptor and runs at 1:12.
Thin Man could easily beat the Janitor and he never forgot how he felt during all these years because of Six.

That was honestly epic! I can't believe how the Thin Man/Mono just practically came back for revenge! Sure getting chased by Thin Man is even worse than the Janitor himself cause he can teleport and stuff, but heck, I had a hunch the Janitor was gonna have Beef with the Long Man from the TV. This was just all so amazing. Great job!!😁😁😁

He was just doing what he does best and making the loud; annoying sounds go away.

This man would have honestly destroyed the janitor if he wasn’t so far from the signal tower, the signal tower is the place where his power is strong, far from it…his powers are really weak

Thin Man/Mono was noticably clever and wiser in his old age.
Having seen ROGER and Rogers behaviour, he anticipated what was about to happen with 6 and her fate. So chose not to persistantly chase her in the end.- Bide his time a little longer.
Through shadow 6, which he created it's possible he knew and saw everything aboard The Maw.
Most likely Six is gonna be full aware of working TV's
I love the animation it's beautifully well done although I highly doubt that the Thin Man/Mono could be beaten up so easily judging by his powers
