I'm a 1+ guy since 2016... got my OP12 from Aliex ...white /China version for that 100w charger and asked the seller to put on Global Oxygen OS... Paid like €600 for the 512GB 16... THIS PHONE IS AMAZING!😁
This is a great video fella. I loved and often miss my one plus 12. Had one earlier this year and switched to the ultra 24 when it was on sale. Missed the One+12 my entire time owning the Ultra. Traded the ultra in on my current Pixel 9 pro XL, which i love, but the One + 12 is still missed and finally remembered as amazing. Better than the S24 Ultra, and not just because of price. I'm blessed to be in a place where 300-400 dollars means very little in terms of this one or that one. If the prices were switched, the One + would still be my pick. Great video fella.
I also have the same silky black 512gb OnePlus 12 and I can't tell you enough how much I really love this phone, it's safe to say that it's the best recommendation in 2024, not only that but it's also future proof due its incredible performance 💪
when you review the Oneplus 13, please review the camera modes. One thing that attract me is the Haseblad XPAN, taking pictures in XPAN is like taking an image with lots of story. Oh of course the speed. im planning to get the chinese version 24gb ram/1tb storage. Is the AI good or not.
Good video and info on the 12. Never had a one plus phone. But I've pre-ordered the 13 hope I'm not gonna be disappointed. Really looking forward to it as think it's gonna be great
My OnePlus One was my all time favorite ohone before it died in a fire pit all too early in life. I was unimpressed with everything else for years, buying Samsung Phones for their cameras, Pixel phones for the same, and always being disappointed with SOMETHING - S10 being the only outlier, and S21 Ultra was close but had bugs and performance issues. Finally, wirh the OP12 they did enough in the camera department to make me consider coming back again and thank the Lord that I did. Easily my second favorite phone of all time after the OnePlus One and I can't believe it took them 10 years to put this type of package together again. Really happy with this thing!
Finally, someone who truly gets it! The OnePlus 12 is an absolute masterpiece, and it’s insane how the big names like MKBHD, Mr.whostheboss, just brushed it aside without even a mention. You’ve earned my respect and my subscription-this is the kind of honesty we need more of!
My daughter just got hers last month and loves it. The 512GB version was less than a 128GB Pixel 9 in Canada plus she used and loved my old 2016 OnePlus 3 until it took a dive in the lake this past summer. I don't know if the 12 will last her 8 years like the 3 did, but it's a great phone. The only strike against it in my eyes is the curved glass display. I hate them and have vowed to never own another one after the Note 10+ and Pixel 7 Pro. I said I'd never get another Note/Ultra until Samsung eliminated the curved displays, and that's why I pre-ordered the S24U back when it was announced. (Plus a killer insane trade on my old Note 10+!) I've been tempted to put a deposit on the OnePlus 13 to get some of the bonus discounts they're offering right now ... but I don't really feel any need to upgrade from the Ultra either.
I agree the OnePlus is a great phone. However the 13 has all the stuff of the 12 plus comes with 6yrs. of updates and security patches at about the same price. Which gives you more time to get a return on the phone should you want to sell it 2 yrs down the road.
After seeing the 13s design, glad I got the beautiful green 12. 512GB and 16GB of Ram for $649.99. Makes Samsung users cry with their empty bank accounts and shatters my apple fanboy heart with how much value you get from OnePlus.
@@JaimeRiveraTech I would use it everyday. Most of the tasks I need a PC for, Dex has been enough for my needs. I would really like to see a feature like Dex compete head to head with Window and Mac.
Love my OnePlus 12 (green version). I am waiting for OnePlus 13 global release and your review. I want to switch but wonder if the cameras are improved?
8:46 Hey Jaime I already bought a phone cheaper and way too powerful than OnePlus 12. It is the Vivo Iqoo 13, yeah the cameras are not in the same league but SD 8 Elite with 16GB RAM & 512 UFS 4.1 and a massive 6000+ mah battery.
@@JaimeRiveraTechyeah buying a phone this powerful at such pricing almost felt like cheating in current market prices. Now I've kept my current phone Pixel 8 Pro as simless device just to click photos.
Try 4 years later. I want a phone that can last me 4 years so I can jump off the consumer cycle that manufacturers imply when influencers make these videos. The smartphone is a mature technology now, there will not be any new innovations worth upgrading to for the next 2 years except for better battery life. Stop the constant upgrade cycle and consumerism, it's ruining the planet.
I decided to try out an iPhone after a decade of being on Android. I got the iPhone 15 Pro in the summer and even though I loved the phone hardware-wise, iOS is still a pain for me and the biggest limiting factor. I traded it in for the OnePlus 12 a short while ago and this is by far the best phone I have had in years. I will be keeping this for a long time.
Yeah the 15 Pro wasn’t my favorite. I had terrible battery life. It’s much better on the 16 Pro. Still yeah once you factor all you get from the 12.. it’s like - do you really need Log video files from a phone in order to justify paying more?
@@JaimeRiveraTech Totally agree. I'm feeling very confident with this one, unlike with the iphone. Good luck in this new chapter Jaime, been watching for years. Wishing you the best! 🙌
I'm a big one. Plus fan, it didn't even come nothing. In any phone category for the year get lost in all positions. But I'm still the OnePlus man. Hopefully the 13 can do something special.
Fun fact: you cannot disable the Google discover feed from the homescreen which is possible in one UI and nothing os. I returned my OnePlus 12 just because of this.
@JaimeRiveraTech I mean it just ruins the clean homescreen experience, I guess it's not just me as there is tons of threads requesting this same exact option.
I had a couple of Oneplus phones, a 3+ and a 9 Pro. I loved my 3+. Paying what I did for the 9 Pro, compared to what I felt I got for my money, ended up making me angry with the brand. They had indeed lost their way at that time. Disillusioned with phone prices overall I ended up saying fuck it and buying an iPhone, a 14 Pro, to finally give the expensive option a chance. That has been good, and horrible, but when the time comes for a new phone again, I’m definitely going back to the imho better OS, Android. It fills me with hope watching this video. Perhaps OnePlus did manage to turn away from the disastrous course they were on. Looking at the prices, even the full fat 12 is a lot cheaper now than my min. spec 9 Pro was, AND it’s a good phone. That’s very promising. Looking forward to seeing what the 13 brings 🙂
@JaimeRiveraTech sadly, i bought the 12 when my open's screen went partially black. I was shocked that it did, since viewing Michael Fisher's video on the quality control gauntlet one plus ran the open through. I sent my open in for a warranty replacement and i was eager to try the 12. Well, this 12 is such a game changer and is going to be hard to let go of. Until the open 2 is released. That phone is expected to be a game changer if all the leaks are proven to be true.
Hard for any phone to beat the 10T. It became my father's longest lasting phone. He destroys any phone I give him. The 10T is still kicking in a drawer.
I am kinda torn between the OnePlus 13 and Redmagic 10 Pro. I mainly use my phone for content consumption and light gaming. I don't take many photos or videos. Any suggestions?
@JaimeRiveraTech thanks for the reply brother. Appreciate it. I just checked out the OnePlus 13 UK launch, and they are giving away a free smartwatch with the phone for preorders. I think we have a winner. Anyway, cheers.
Gotta say, been hearing for years now from UA-cam reviewers about "OnePlus finally having great cameras like Samsung and Apple". Every iteration, same story. After trying this baby out, the cameras are okay, solid. But still not on that level like the big guys
I'm glad you showed a true innovative phone for a change. Not just the same old iPhone no changes no Real AI as advertised. Google and Samsung both set the mark plus Google this made the best design phones ever. There are so many like One Plus but they are the only Chinese phone that is trying to sell outside of China. The only thing with Chinese phones is falling short with little updates.
I do think there’s a ton of innovation everywhere. In the case of the iPhone it’s just not on things most people care about, like log video. Still I’m glad 2024 was a great year for products in general
Great review as always. OnePlus 12 deserves a high recommendation. It shows that you do not have to spend over $1000 to get a good phone. Can you review OnePlus 13 please?
just not enough for me. The polish and little things of the 24 Ultra make it tough to beat. I would pick it over a Pixel though. Currently rocking a Z Fold6 as a business guy and the inner screen has solidified itself as non-negotiable when it comes to reviewing and briefing sales data. As an excel fiend, I no longer can switch back to a normal slab

I'm a 1+ guy since 2016... got my OP12 from Aliex ...white /China version for that 100w charger and asked the seller to put on Global Oxygen OS... Paid like €600 for the 512GB 16... THIS PHONE IS AMAZING!😁
Wow that's a great deal
Loving this content Jaime! Adelaide Hermano aqui estamos para apoyar
Gracias hermano. Significa mucho para mí. Fuerte abrazo!
have there been any updates on the one plus 13 mini or the compact model!
Not sure there will be one. They didn’t succeed at that with the X so many years ago.
Great review 😊
Thanks so much!
Couldn’t agree more
Haha same
I'm a huge fan of companies that give you these top tier specs without the top tier prices.... Looking to pick one of these up now
They do the best job at it ever since the 11 when you weren't just getting good for the money. Now it's great ... Which means too good for the money
I have one oneplus 12 since September and is a blast, what a phone 👏🏻👏🏻
Glad you’re enjoying it bud.
9 Pro XL is a good phone. Not great IMHO..
I also have the same silky black 512gb OnePlus 12 and I can't tell you enough how much I really love this phone, it's safe to say that it's the best recommendation in 2024, not only that but it's also future proof due its incredible performance 💪
Love it. Glad you’ve had a good experience.
when you review the Oneplus 13, please review the camera modes. One thing that attract me is the Haseblad XPAN, taking pictures in XPAN is like taking an image with lots of story. Oh of course the speed. im planning to get the chinese version 24gb ram/1tb storage. Is the AI good or not.
You know, I don't usually go into those modes because they're usually gimmicks.. but some of the 13 options have me enticed so I'll do my best
I have the phone since launch and I cannot agree more, phone is a beast!
Glad you like it
Good video and info on the 12. Never had a one plus phone. But I've pre-ordered the 13 hope I'm not gonna be disappointed. Really looking forward to it as think it's gonna be great
I can actually say that I know for an undisclosed fact that you won’t be disappointed, LoL.
Great video as always!
Appreciate your support!
Hey Jaime Been watching yeah for years :) Hope u reach 1 million subscribers ! SOON :)
It's the goal! Thanks for all your support
@@JaimeRiveraTech yupp =]
Would you make a video like this for a OnePlus Open?
That’s the plan. How do you think I scripted this video, LoL. It won’t happen yet though. Need some more time with it.
Very happy with my oneplus 12
Glad you’re enjoying it. It is a really good phone indeed.
Like that wallpaper!!! Where from?
It was on their stock wallpapers
Finally, someone who truly gets it! The OnePlus 12 is an absolute masterpiece, and it’s insane how the big names like MKBHD, Mr.whostheboss, just brushed it aside without even a mention. You’ve earned my respect and my subscription-this is the kind of honesty we need more of!
Appreciate your support. 2024 was a great year for phones so I totally understand Marques and Arun on their picks. Love the diversity of opinion.
I have the OnePlus 12R, and it has been an amazing phone. I will definitely upgrade to the 13R for the redesign.
I love that redesign.
Wow yeah you’re good. Glad she’s been enjoying it
I agree the OnePlus is a great phone. However the 13 has all the stuff of the 12 plus comes with 6yrs. of updates and security patches at about the same price. Which gives you more time to get a return on the phone should you want to sell it 2 yrs down the road.
But they fkd up with design...13 looks like a budget real me phone ...
Oh totally. What makes the 12 compelling right now is getting all that for a lot less money
Disagree
Honestly I'd love to get myself one here but I live in Ghana and its super hard and super expensive to get a OnePlus here
Sad to hear bud.
@JaimeRiveraTech its okay though
I'm using a pixel 6 right now
It performs pretty well but the battery life is awful
How much in Ghana?
Lost n Found you my fave reviewer subscribing
Thanks so much for being here!!
at 600 dollars its still extremely on the high side for anyone outside the US but its such a great phone
It’s $549 right now 👀
We don't really get the discounts too, especially if the brand doesn't have official retailers then exchange rates😅@@JaimeRiveraTech
@@JaimeRiveraTech I paid slightly less for a pixel 9 and a year of unlimited at mint mobile. Much better value for me.
After seeing the 13s design, glad I got the beautiful green 12. 512GB and 16GB of Ram for $649.99. Makes Samsung users cry with their empty bank accounts and shatters my apple fanboy heart with how much value you get from OnePlus.
Haha totally
After 2 iPhones, I went back to Android with no regrets. I recently bought the OnePlus 12 at an amazing price. I love this phone.
Glad you feel proud of your purchase
I want desktop mode. I would love a true all in one device! Love the new channel.
Appreciate your support. Also, how often would you use it? I rarely use Dex and I have it on all my devices. I even switch it off on the tablet.
Review coming soon. You’d be surprised.
Glad it was available in your region.. enjoy
@@JaimeRiveraTechyeah buying a phone this powerful at such pricing almost felt like cheating in current market prices. Now I've kept my current phone Pixel 8 Pro as simless device just to click photos.
Could you do a video of a OnePlus phone with all of the features like the notes the photos keyboard security features password stuff like that
Not my specialty. You want a full blown deep dive on the product, and I’m sure I have a ton of friends who are perfect at it like ZoloTech
Love your point. We’ll see how it goes
yes im agree. this is how when i bought oneplus 3T and using it around 5 to 6 years
Wow such a great phone. I still have mine in black
Sold my S21 plus and got the OnePlus 12,such a huge upgrade and it's a great phone
Wow yeah. Great upgrade indeed
It is 😉
Fun fact: you cannot disable the Google discover feed from the homescreen which is possible in one UI and nothing os. I returned my OnePlus 12 just because of this.
Eh.. ok. I guess that's a big deal for you.. not for many of us
@JaimeRiveraTech I mean it just ruins the clean homescreen experience, I guess it's not just me as there is tons of threads requesting this same exact option.
Perfect review
Yeah the 13 is pretty hot
Moved from s24 ultra to vivo x200 pro. Man the camera is so so much better especially in low light. For one ui, I still keep a normal s24
Dude, that X200 Pro is the best camera on a phone, hands down.
Why haven't you got the most UA-cam followers for reviewer your the goat
Well.. I left a 1.8M channel last month. Takes time to build a new one.
It's going to be hard to leave one plus after experiencing both the ones plus open and now the one plus 12.
Oh yeah.. I'm on the Open right now and love it
@JaimeRiveraTech sadly, i bought the 12 when my open's screen went partially black.
@JaimeRiveraTech the biggest take away from the open.... No wireless charging. And that is tolerable since the phone is almost perfect.
I got the 10T i think it has the same fun finish, probably will upgrade to the 13😊
Hard for any phone to beat the 10T. It became my father's longest lasting phone. He destroys any phone I give him. The 10T is still kicking in a drawer.
Oneplus 12 ✅✨♥️💯
Yup
I am kinda torn between the OnePlus 13 and Redmagic 10 Pro. I mainly use my phone for content consumption and light gaming. I don't take many photos or videos. Any suggestions?
I’d go OnePlus. RedMagic and photos don’t go together
@JaimeRiveraTech thanks for the reply brother. Appreciate it. I just checked out the OnePlus 13 UK launch, and they are giving away a free smartwatch with the phone for preorders. I think we have a winner. Anyway, cheers.
Its an amazing phone .... Should have won phone of the year
Op12 is a great phone, the price didnt drop which shows they are selling well in the UK, went with the vivo x200 pro personally as i got it for £655
Wow but that X200 Pro is a masterpiece
After the recent software update, I have noticed the HUGE IMPROVEMENT of the camera performance.
Well most of the photos I took were from February. Noticed it was just as great as the ones I took this past week
Gotta say, been hearing for years now from UA-cam reviewers about "OnePlus finally having great cameras like Samsung and Apple". Every iteration, same story.
After trying this baby out, the cameras are okay, solid. But still not on that level like the big guys
Wonder how the ultra 25 will be ...
Only one way to find out 😉
OnePlus 12 ...Still An Amazing Device to use.
What's the song in the background?
Don’t remember right now but they’re usually in the description if you watch the video from your computer
I will say the last phone I had that had the fastest charging was the OnePlus 7 pro. Though after like 2 years I had 70% original battery capacity
Thats pretty decent
Great review as always. OnePlus 12 deserves a high recommendation. It shows that you do not have to spend over $1000 to get a good phone. Can you review OnePlus 13 please?
Thank you! And yes, you bet that’s coming
Best phone in OnePlus line up after a long time
just not enough for me.
Dude… it’s like saying your Toyota is nice but have you seen my Mercedes? Eh.. of course a Mercedes is better. That thing better do your laundry and iron your clothes for the extra money. It competes with other cars.. not Toyota. Does this make Toyota a bad car? No right 😉
@JaimeRiveraTech 😆 I do like your take on the One Plus and its definitely under loved, in my opinion. So much going for it. I guess I'm not the audience. Trust me though, I fought hard not to buy the One Plus Open.
I've still got my Bamboo OnePlus One that i got on invite. Will be hopefully get the OnePlus 13 when is launched globally
Wow! Good one
Totally agree on the looks of the phone. Love the sandstone case too. Oh yea, its $549 USD on their website
I know! It was $649 when I wrote the script 🤣
