You would be surprised how many farmers and construction companies dont even keep or have proper records and inventories of equipment and vehicles. They cannot describe to police what has just been nicked! Especially when they hire in kit or have contractors on site who then get robbed. Likewise most Police dont know a tractor from a combine harvester even rural police. It beggars belief. Ive never yet heard of anyone installing or reccomending covert cameras as well as overt cameras. With a few dummy ones to boot. Also overwatch cameras. Signage as well. Best security for farmers is dogs and geese.
